                                                                              Week Later

Within one week, Brystal had begun to feel as if she belonged on the ship. She got to know the bridge crew better, while she kept a good check on engineering. Being the second officer meant that you had to check all lower decks and engineering. But to Brystal, it allowed her to keep an eye on Olivia.

The Enterprise passed through large nebulas and milky ways. Stars were pinpricked all around them. Planets of light shades of pale colors orbiting around moons. Brystal admired space's beauty like she'd never seen it many times before.

Olivia hadn't caused too much trouble by the looks of it. She was using her fluent speaking in Russian when she spoke with Chekov (which he clearly enjoyed). She hadn't gotten any bad injuries in the past week nor did she oversleep.

There were a few times where things got chaotic. Like the time the Klingons attacked, but they were able to create a diversion to get out of the fight. Or the time that Olivia tried to explain Twilight to Spock, who thought the choice Bella made in the book was highly illogical.

Brystal could've cared less. She liked maintaining her post while checking up on Olivia. Though whenever she seemed to ever be talking to Jim, Spock would find some way to usher him away. Actually that happened quite frequently.

"Bri." Olivia said, cleaning her hands off from the grease of a pipe, "I think Cal would've loved this ship."

Brystal almost winced in pain as Olivia said the name. Cal (or Callum) had been another friend of theirs at the academy. He was a very smart and bright engineering student, who turned down one of the best colleges for Starfleet. Meeting him was an out of the ordinary.

They'd met him after a small lunch break, where he was arguing with his cousin who was also at Starfleet. He met up with them after finally ending the argument. And he started the conversation so strangely, you would've thought they'd be weirded out.

Sadly, Callum Stewart's life in Starfleet ended months ago. He was sent with other ships to go to the distress signal on Vulcan while Admiral Hale and Captain Pike ordered their daughters to stay at Starfleet under Callius's watch. So Uhara and Issac were assigned to ships while Olivia had Brystal stayed there.

Both Olivia and Brystal argued against their fathers, losing that argument. They weren't happy  they had to stay there just because they were their daughters. Even though, Admiral Hale didn't go while Brystal's father did.

Brystal had become a bit more agaitated when they were ordered to  stay there, but that lead her to reading some files by Admiral Marcus. This where she learned much off the cold-hearted admiral her father called a friend. Of course then came the news of Issac's ship not making it.

Oddly enough, when Marcus had sent a team to clean up the bits of metal in space, nobody could find the U.S.S Conquest. The matter continued to puzzle Brystal as she tried to put the pieces together. Either that their friend was dead or something entirely different happened

"Yeah I think he would've," Brystal nodded, hiding the pain she felt at hearing his name.

"Minus the fact he would've complained that he would have to climb this place like monkey bars."

"Didn't he always?" Brystal joked, letting out a small laugh. Olivia chuckled at the joke, taking a look around the machine she had just been fixing. The binding tape on the sparking wire seemed to have started to patch up.

She'd been working on the broken piece of machine for a while, she wasn't to happy when it decided to break again. She had fixed a few datapads and tricorders throughout the week. She was kept busy, not being able to make mischief.

A grunting came from the machine, coughing out some smoke. Olivia hit the machine with her hand causing a chain reaction. The machine bumped back to its normal state, nothing else she had to fix.

"Having trouble with that?" Brystal asked.

"It's been sputtering all week. As one thing I have to fix and then another the next day." Olivia half-complained and half-explained, "Makes me wish we were back on earth, taking a car and going past a few speed limits."

"That was a few thrills you liked," Brystal said.

"At least I could break some rules."

"Which is bad."

"I know." Olivia sighed, deciding to change the subject, "You've been talking to the captain a lot recently."

Brystal stared at Olivia before responding, "Well, you have to get to know some people around here."

"And Spock is always ushering him away from you."

"He's probably making sure whatever 'romantic advancements' he claims Jim has is...."

"You call him Jim?!?"

"He allowed it." Brystal said, calmly, then he her expressaion changed to confusion, "where are you going with this?"

"Nowhere," Olivia said, quickly. Brystal cocked an eyebrow, wondering why Olivia had brought up the strange question.

"So???" Uhara asked Olivia as they met up in the ship's cafeteria. Brystal had decided to start working on something, leaving Olivia and Uhara to talk alone. They both set their trays down on the table.

"She's completely oblivious," Olivia responded, causing Uhara to sigh, "She's completely oblivious that Jim has eyes for her."

Uhara rubbed her temple, completely frustrated at Brystal, "It's so obvious!! How can she not see these advancements he's making on her."

"His own Second officer," Olivia pointed out, taking a sip of the iced tea in her cup.

"I know she's had not as many boyfriends as you and me, but what can she see that we can't?" Uhara asked Olivia, her fingers hovering over the slice of Brie on her tray.

"I know she said never to get involved with her relationships with anyone, but I think sooner or later I'm going to have to pint out that he's trying to make romantic advancements on her," Olivia said, picking her fork through her toad in the hole.

Uhara nodded her head, knowing at this point she wasn't going to allow Kirk to make any advancements on her friend. She couldn't believe that Brystal hadn't seen what he was like around women. If Kirk hurt Brystal in anyway, Uhara wouldn't hold back a punch

The sliding of the door caught Olivia's eye. Uhara looked seeing that Brystal and Kirk were talking. There was Brystal smile at what ever Kirk had said, talking about something.

All the two could notice was Uhara and Olivia giving Kirk an angry stare. A warning, saying if you mess or hurt her, your dead.

A/N and that is what Uhara and Olivia were exactly like seeing Kirk flirt with Brystal (who is oblivious to flirting). Hope I filled in a few things. Plus, I will be adding a few graphics pages.
