Lily

"Hey, Muffin." I say, walking to his office.

Since it was his home office, it wasn't as big as his work office, so I had to spin a little. He looks up after my fifth spin.

"How do I look, sugar?" I ask and stumble in dizziness.

"You look beautiful, Lily. With that said, I'm going."

He stands up and I push him back down softly. "Nope. You've got work to do, mister. Besides, it's girl's night."

Today was my day off but not Muffin's, unfortunately. I've been at his house since he asked me to be his girlfriend—which was three days ago, and I don't think I've ever been happier.

Well, Muffin didn't exactly ask me to be his girlfriend. Instead, after he did what he did, he told me I was his and his only. Of course I made him say please, because I like my boyfriend's to have manners. Although Theo is my first boyfriend.

Every time I look at him now, I think of the intense look on his face as he was doing what he did and shudder. My goodness gracious, I'm nearly obsessed with him. I didn't think he could get any hotter, but even now as he sits frowning behind the desk he looks amazing.

"What about all those fuckers that'll be watching you?"

I match his frown in confusion and sit on his desk, "What do you mean?"

"It's a Friday night and you're going out with a group of women. You guys are their prey, Lily."

I smile. "Well, we're going to a club too. I guess I should change into something more outgoing. You know, to fit in." I reply, playing with the fabric of my jeans and lifting my foot to show him my sandals.

"What?"

I stand up. "Maybe just show up with some nice red lingerie and a coat. That'll have all the boys on me. Don't you think sugar?"

He scowls. "You're fucking with me, aren't you?"

I try to hold in my laughter, "Half of my friends are single and ready to mingle. So I figure why not join them, right?"

His eyes grow wide, "But you're not single and ready to mingle, Lily." He mumbles. Theo stands up. "If you want me to get on one knee and ask to the proper way, I'll do t-"

I laugh and go behind his chair. Sitting him back down, I hug him from behind. Moving side to side as I giggle, "I'm kiddin', Muffin, I'm kiddin'!"

"Not funny." He grumbles

"You know it was." I kiss his cheek as he tries to get out of my hold. "Nobody's going to be staring at me anyway. You've got nothin' to worry about."

He turns around and holds my chin in his hand. "When will you realize just how beautiful you are, woman?"

"The day I actually become beautiful." I reply, laughing as I walk away. Whenever I make fun of myself, he gets more serious than he usually is.

He frowns, forehead lines appearing. I lean over the desk and push his cheeks up, making him smile with my hands. He swats them away and gets back to work.

"Have fun." He says as I grab my bag.

No goodbye kiss?

I glance at him once and when he doesn't budge, I walk out of his office sadly. When I reach the door and he still doesn't give me a goodbye kiss, my whole mood changes.

I unlock the door, "Bye, M-"

As I turn around, Theo appears behind me. He takes my head in his hands and kisses me deeply. After biting my lip a little, he backs away.

"Call me when you get there, alright?" He asks as I stare at him in amazement, breathing heavily.

"Okay." I whisper, and he nods before walking away. I step out of his house, my cheeks bright red.

As soon as I see Val's car on the side of his porch I had crashed into, I rush to it. I double check to see if the water bottles and safety kit are inside my bag before tossing it inside.

Everyone had an assignment every time we went out. Val made sure everyone had fun, Audrey made sure everyone's outfits were good enough, Diana was the defender, and I prevented anyone from doing something bad. I also made sure everyone was hydrated!

"Hey!" Val greets me as I sit in the front seat. I say hi to her, Diana, Audrey and Kelly in the backseat.

As Val begins driving, I face the others, smiling happily, "Guess what girls?"

Diana leans forward, "What?"

"He did it!" I say, clapping proudly. Oh goodness, I just know they'll be happy for me.

Audrey frowns. "You guys had sex, Lily? I thought you already did bef-"

I shake my head. "Nope, the other thing."

Val pats my hand. "Oh honey, the boy didn't make you cum did he? Girl, I am so sorry. Men don't usually know how to do that part. I usually just fake i-"

"Oh no. That man is no boy. That's a full grown man. I'll tell you that much."

Audrey gasps, "It was that good?"

I nod happily, "Mm-hmm!" My smile grows wider. "And he's my boyfriend now! Lily's got a boyfriend now, ladies! My first boyfriend and oh my, I'm smiling so hard my cheeks hurt!"

"Congratulations!" Diana cheers and hugs me.

Val pats my hair and wipes a fake tear away. "My Lilybug's a freak now!" She cries out and I laugh.

The rest of the drive to the club, we speak about each other's lives and things we've missed. Once we arrive, I call Theo, Diane calls Bear, and Val and Garlica send a text to their husbands. As I clutch my bag and try to adjust to the lighting, I follow behind them. When we sit down at a booth, Audrey rolls her eyes.

"I'm tired of being single." She takes a drink from the waiter that approaches us. "I take that back. I love being single, but I hate being lonely!"

I hug her, "You're not lonely, you've got us." She pushes me away

"I love you guys, but I need something else."

Her eyes land on someone on the dance floor, and she grins. "Something like that." She says before dropping her phone in my bag, grabbing another drink and running off.

Garlica frowns. "Is this how you guys usually have fun?"

Val and Diane glance at each other. "Who are you?" Diane asks her.

She holds her hand out, "Kelly. Nice to meet the women Lily babbles about nearly every day."

They hesitate before accepting her hand shake. Diane takes a shot of something I don't know and leans closer to Kelly's ear. "You're not like a cop or anything, right?"

Val gasps, "You're a cop! Look, if you're here for the weed I stole the other day, hear me out f-"

"Valentina, right?" Garlic asks.

"Yes."

"I'm not a cop, alright? Calm down. Your friend invited me out tonight with you guys."

Val and Diane breathe a sigh of relief, "Good. So I'm going to go take shots with arrogant frat boys. It's just fun that way, you know? You'll be fine, right, Lily?"

I wave a dismissive hand. "Of course, I'll be fine! Go have fun, Hun!"

She blows a kiss to me and jogs off in the same direction Audrey went. Diane leans back in the seat and sips her drink. "I won't get into any trouble this time, Lily, d-don't worry. Being married means I've got to be sophisticated." She says, slurring her words.

She pinches my cheek, and I know she's drunk already. I sit and talk with Kelly as Diane plays with my face. After about fifteen minutes, a dark haired woman pauses in front of us. I smile and wave to her, "Hi! My name i-"

"Theo Acquire is your boyfriend?" She shouts.

"I hadn't realized you were listening. My apologies. And yes, he is my boyfriend! Do you know him?"

She grins, "He's a well-known businessman, of course I know him. We even used to date for some time."

My face falls, seeing how much prettier she is than me. I know he must be ashamed of me. Theo deserves someone better than me. Someone who can do more than talk all the time and annoy him.

"What's wrong? Are you jealous?" The woman asks, smiling.

Jealous? Well goodness no I'm not jealous, I'm sad.

I shake my head and smile, "Of course not! What makes you say that?"

She frowns, "I figured y-"

Diane groans and throws a napkin at the woman. "She's not jealous bitch, move on!"

I gasp and Kelly laughs. "I'm so sorry, dear, she didn't mean that! She's drunk!"

"What did you call me?" The woman asks and steps forward.

Oh no

Diane stands up. "Do you want me to spell it out for you?"

Before I can stop them, the woman tries to hit Diana but is too slow. Diana splashes the drink in the woman's face and I gasp. Kelly and I stand up as they begin to fight.

Diana pins the woman to the floor and is about to slap her, but Kelly pulls her off. "Damn, you are strong." She mumbles.

I go to the other woman and try to pull her off, but she elbows my nose. I stumble back and blood immediately starts to drip out, entering my mouth. I swallow blood as Kelly and Diana shove each other. Diana notices my nose and stops.

"I'm going to kill this bitch!"

Diana charges at the lady but she ducks and Diana falls on me, making my head hit the floor with a thud. I whimper, feeling a headache coming on as the blood from my nose continues to drip out.

The woman sees Diana is available and tries to hit her. Kelly gets in the way, making the lady hit Kelly. I get up quickly and think of the move Muffin taught me.

Swing low-fast and let her rip!

I pretend the bat is in my hand and count to three before swinging my arm at the woman. It hits her chin, and she falls back. I screech when she doesn't get back up and start to feel awful.

"My goodness, what did I do! Is she dead?"

Diana touches the woman's neck and rolls her eyes as she stumbles up. "She's not dead, unfortunately."

"We need to find your friends and get the hell out of here." Kelly says and begins striding to the dance floor. Diana follows before I have a chance to catch up. I quickly grab the bag and say a quick prayer for the woman.

Holding my bloody nose, I try to find them. Not looking ahead, I accidentally bump my nose into a wall. This time I feel my eyes water and the amount of blood triples. My hands now covered in my blood, I begin to cry a little.

With teary eyes, I look around the dance floor for my friends and when I finally spot them standing at the entrance searching around, I smile. I run to them and we leave the club as soon as a security guard reaches Audrey.

They all stumble out except for Kelly. A taxi appears, and she calls for it. After paying the driver extra, we all squeeze inside and I tell him Theo's address. Garlica makes me hold my head back as Diana laughs.

"I'm sorry about your nose, but that was kind of fun."

"We weren't even there for an hour!" Kelly complains, grabbing a tissue of my bag for me.

I think back at the defense move I got to do and giggle. "That was fun!" I reply as blood falls out of my mouth.
