Fortunately, the owners of the orphanage took you in as their child and they were very rich. After some years, they had different fights which killed your new uncle and your new dad ran away. Silence fills the air. And I see Jade waiting for my reaction. "How did you get this?" "I received a mail yesterday, in it had a letter which said pls deliver this to Mrs. Porter(originally Mrs. Morgan)" "And you believe it's me? Wait, is this a joke. What next, my name is not actually Serena". She doesn't say anything which signifies that she too is suprised and doesn't know what to do. We decide to eat. It's funny how our friendship is not up to a year yet but we're best friends already. I guess there are just some particular people you can actually trust and you both understand each other. She decides to sleep over since her mum will obviously agree to it. We get home and surprisingly meet Kim talking to my "fake mum", how funny can that get while Chris is watching tv. We decide to go through the tree house at the back. Actually there are three ways of entering the house; the front, the back and the tree house at the back. I'm taken away from my thoughts when I see that I'm being called by my mum downstairs. Mum gives me the eye which means go back into your room and change into something more appropriate. As annoying my mum is, she decides to bring up a convo about me. "So, Serene, tell them about yourself. I'm sure they can't remember much. They're eager to here". "Sure, mum. So, my name is Serena Porter. I am 16 yrs 11 months. I am the only child. My bestfriend is Jade. My love relationship is complicated but surprisingly my partner is right next to me." I glare at him. By the time I stand up, I feel someone holding me back. I turn back to see Chris but I glare at him so he releases me. I walk up to my room.
An hour later.....
Everyone is gone. My mum is in her room so is Rina but I can't sleep so I change into one of my plain indoor bikinis which is royal blue, I take my headphones and leave to the swimming pool. It's really dark so I just switch on one of the colourful dim lights. I swim without making noise. I pause a bit and close eyes.
