                   Purab gets pragya's luggage and started to walk towards the exit while pragya and abhi stood there not able to digest the fact that they came face to face atlast , after two years.

' She is not the same pragya whom I loved !! Had changed completely! ! The sweet innocent soul has been misplaced by ego and arrogant..still I remember how determiningly she left me !! ' thought abhi scanning her from top to bottom.

' where I am atlast ? Why on earth I should come here and why I should meet him..!! It means he is karan's brother and I am going to marry his younger brother!!! I just want to kill myself than standing before him!! ' thought pragya gazing him from the corner of her eye.

" Guys!! Are you coming with me or not ? " they both heard purab's voice which broke the intense trance between them.  Pragya brushed off her hair behind her ear smiling lightly.

Pragya walked beside abhi as he keeps up his pace near her . She was looking around everywhere but didn't dare to eye at him as his gaze was already fixed on her.

The ride to Mehra Mansion was quite as both acted as strangers infront of purab.

" Pragya ; how is your mom and dad ? Why didn't they come with you.. ? " asked purab while driving the car carefully.

She looks at abhi who turned back for her answer in a questioning look while she says " actually , I am having a small project class in Mumbai !! That's why I came earlier and they will be present on the engagement day ..." she said biting her lower lip with the tears layering on her eyes.

' No pragya.. don't cry infront of him.. don't show your weaker side.. its because of him.. you are going to marry his brother.. you are not at fault ... stay strong...' Pragya said to herself.

Abhi looks at her through the front mirror who wipes the tears silently without knowing that the person who wants to see is already witnessing with pain in his heart.

" Welcome beta..I hope you had a nice journey!!" Said Ragini;  Abhi's mother caressing her head. Pragya bents down and get blessing from her.

" Yeah aunty !! " she said smiling gently.

" Where is karan ? I asked him to pick pragya from airport but did you went there abhi...?" Came a rough voice as everyone turned towards  the stairs where Neil came in his perfect office three piece suit.

" No dad...!!" Abhi stammered looking at purab to help him and continues " He received her from the airport and left as his friend met with an..." before abhi could complete,  Purab tells " an accident uncle...!!" He said as abhi looked at him in shock.

" I dont know from where he gets an excuse..!! Still playing around like a teenage boy! ! When he is going to grow up..!!" Muttered Neil averting his gaze towards pragya.

" You don't need to feel alone beta !! If you want anything ; ask ragini aunty and I will ask Karan to take you for the project classes ... " said Neil as ragini arranged breakfast for him.

' purab said he had an important meeting but now they both are saying that his friend met with an accident! ! What's happening around me..? Are they lying to me or him..'

" thanks uncle...!!" Replied pragya with a small smile. She gazed at abhi who was trying to call someone and purab trying to make him calm down.

" I will ask robin to show your room..!!" Ragini tells seeing her detached from them.

Robin comes there and takes pragya's luggage asking her to come with him. Abhi turns towards her who walks away not even thanking him .

" strange...!!" Thought abhi moving out from the home with purab.

As the call gets connected , " Where the hell are you..? I came back to home but where are you..? You know how much it was difficult to make him believe that You came to airport with me..!!" Yells abhi as soon as karan picks the call.

"I am sorry bhai..!! I will be back to home soon.. And how is she looking ? Nerdy girl na..!! With big chashma .." smirks karan as abhi's blood boiled in anger.

" Enough Karan ..! You are going to get engage with her and this is the way you speak about her..!! Really shame on you.." said abhi making karan to get confuse.

" Bro..!! Chill!! Okay i am sorry ..." pleaded karan through the phone . Abhi cuts the call and purab could see some sort of tension in abhi's eyes.

" Abhi...!! Why you are getting hyper for this small thing...!! Relax yaar..!! He had to decide what he wants in his life..!!" Said purab by placing his hand on abhi's shoulder.

' Why I am reacting like this..? Why I can't stay away from her ? Abhi!! You only left her behind you and don't even interfere again in her life.. !! ' but some where in his heart , he gets anger on himself.  He doesn't want karan to do the same mistake as he did few years back .

Pragya settled herself on the comfort bed with her closed eyes. Her thoughts wondered about abhi and the things happened just before. ' He looks like the same abhi I met few years before.. nothing changed !! Just filled with his own ego !!'
Her mobile rings puting an halt to her thoughts.

" Haan...mumma !! I reached safe and you don't need to get panic..!! Here everyone is sweet !!" Said pragya as soon as her mother enquired about her travel.

" You know what ? Ram asked me to call you one hour before itself but I wanted you to reach there.. and Neil bhai called me now informing that you reached safe...!!" Said priya kissing her daughter through the phone.

" Yeah.. and I love Ragini aunty...!! She is so sweet !!" Said pragya with a wide smile.

" more than me...?" Asked priya making Pragya to chuckle.

" Are you really jealous mumma..! ! No-one can be Better than my mumma..." she said kissing back at the phone.

" okay you take rest and call me daily.. don't forget it!! And behave yourself till we come..!!" Her mother warns again while pragya agreed to all her claws and ends the call .

It was late night , all were in their room sleeping peacefully. The power cuts down immediately making the whole Mehra mansion dark .

Abhi comes out from his room and saw Every one in the living hall impatiently waiting all together. Karan was holding his phone with torch on . Dadi and Ragini was seated on the sofa looking at Neil who was talking with the electricity board.

' what happened to this power?  Dammit!! I have an important meet tomorrow and without enough sleep ; I can't even concentrate properly !!

Where is Pragya?  Oh my god..!! She has a fear on darkness !! Let me check her...'

Past

" Abhi ? What happened to this power ? Where are you..? You know right ; I can't even stay a minute alone in darkness! ! ' she said walking slowly with her hands stretched searching for abhi in the darkness filled room.

She didn't get any reply from him and it increased her tension. She finds the complete silence in the room and can hear her own heart beating fast.

" Abhi...!! I am going to kill you...!!" Roared pragya in anger as she felt a hand surrounds around her waist while pulling her back against his strong body .

" hey...!! You okay..!!" He nuzzled the side of her neck and she instantly relaxed into his hold.

" I am fine.. you just scared me..!! " said pragya turning towards him keeping her head on his broad chest.

" close your eyes and I will take you to our room...!!" Said abhi picking her in his arms in the bridal style. Pragya surrounds her one hand around his neck and other gripping the collar of his t- shirt.

He made her to settle on the bed and slides beside her on the bed who instantly tugged to him like a small baby. He made themself comfortable on the bed by lacing her fingers with his.

" You know abhi.. this darkness haunts me like a ghost and I feel strong when you are near me..." she said while hearing his heart beat.

" What you will do if I am not beside you like this ; next time ...!? " asked abhi with a questioning look.

" I will die abhi...!!" Said  Pragya who parts from him securely placing her hands on him to have a look at him.

" Are you mad...? Why you are talking like this..?" He asked holding her chin forcing her to look at him.

" Abhi...!! You know right ; I can't live without you.. !! You are my life's support system.. You will not leave me alone right ? Don't even dare to talk like this again" Asked pragya holding his hand slightly.

" I am sorry baba!!! Do you think I can live without you..? Come on be a good girl and sleep now..!!" Said abhi trying to pacify her.

" don't change the topic !! Promise me you won't leave me..try to make me understand!! Take your anger on me..or slap me but don't leave me..!" She said hugging him who kissed her forehead gently placing his head on her's.

" Promsie on me..!! I wont even think of leaving you..!! Even if you try to leave me ; I will cage you in my hell! !" He said as she placed a soft kiss on his chest.

" what was that..?" He asked with a gentle shook who giggled by his desperate voice.

" Good night Abhi....!!" She mimicked closing her eyes.

"Cheater ...! !" Abhi mumbled as he heard her soft breathe over his shoulder.

Present

Abhi rushed towards pragya's room as his heart filled with fear. He stepped into the room without even knocking the door and saw the whole room completely dark.

He switched on the torch in his phone and scanned the whole room which is empty. I can't find her in the room.

' May be she might have went down..!! ' thought abhi making a move from there. He saw a slim figure in the balcony gazing towards the sky.

Abhi holding his phone properly walked slowly towards the balcony to see her standing there alone gripping the phone close to her heart.

' here she is !! Thought she had changed a lot but still acting like a three years old kid. How much worth to see her face..!! If she heard me , will kill me for sure...!! ' Abhi thought trying hard to control his laugh.

Pragya sensed some one was standing beside her and could hear the very well known person's teasing smile.

' again he came here..? Cant he let me to live in peace !! And this damn power!!! He very well know about me and mocking at my state..!! Poor me.. standing here like a frightened cat...' thought pragya turning towards him With an irritating look.

" I thought you changed by seeing your bag full of attitude and ego but now I came to the conclusion that you are still the same..!!" Before he could complete;  Pragya tells in the sad voice " a nerdy chashmish !!" . She said with a mixed emotions in her eyes. He looked at her as guilt former in his eyes.

A heavy thunder sound and a bright light pierced the sky pouring the rain droplets drenching them in rain.

Seeing her standing there idle ; abhi tries to pull her into the guest room but pragya was stubborn not moved an inch from there.

" Pragya..!! Come inside..!! You will catch cold..!! Am because of you , I am also going to become sick..!!" Abhi yells on top of his voice but pragya shrugged off his hold.

" Why you are standing here for me..!! Who I am to you..? " she asked not able to be seperated from him.

" You are going to marry my younger brother and I care for you because you are our guest and going to be member of this family! !" He said without taking breathe and didn't dare to look at her.

" How dare you ? !!" She held his collars while both were immersed in their own beautiful memories.

Using this ; Abhi forcefully pulls her inside closing the balcony door with a thud sound. Pragya not able to believe that she had actually reacted without even remembering what he had done to her.

" Is that only the reason !!" She asked though her mind screams her to stop questioning him. Abhi wiped his face with his palm and turns to look at her.

So what's their past ?

Will karan marry pragya or will his intention on her change?

Will pragya able to bring back abhi or will punish him for his sin he made in the past ?
