The ride back to the human's home is silent, she tries to talk to Edward but he won't say anything to her "Edward please" the human begs him "talk to me" Edward just shifts in his seat crossing his arms looking out the window.

"Wolf shifter" Edward tells me, what? As I was driving I suddenly get this god wet awful dog smell that if I had to fully describe it...it's like a dog who took a bath in dirty sewer water mixed with fish that has been rotting for years and doesn't bother to clean itself. When I turned, I stop seeing an angry shirtless boy with a six pack, tan skin, dark eyes and short black hair. He is wearing cargo shorts, sneakers and has an upper arm tribal tattoo on his right arm of a wolf.

Ah! So this is the wolf shifter! He just stands there and I honk the horn at him. He looks at me narrowing his eyes on me getting more angry looking at Edward then to the human "He wants us dead" Edward tells me "and Bella safe" rolling my eyes.

"Is he going to move?" I demand honking the horn and motioning for him to move. He doesn't so I just drive running into him, his eyes widened and when I reverse the car the wolf falls to the ground.

"Jacob!" The human gets out of the car running to his side, looking at me with tears "how could you? She runs out of the way as I run over the boy again with the car. Don't wolf shifters have supernatural healing?

I notice Edward smiling "I know" Edward looks at me "that I'm angry with you" of fucking course he is, I'm ordering him around and punishing him. He hates that, well if he wasn't a child he wouldn't be getting this but I do love how you handle things at times"

Smirking "Grab your human, bring her here now" he gets out and quickly get the human as I call the Cullen residence. When someone picks up the phone I say "let the wolf shifter's pack leader know that he might be down one wolf as in I ran the wolf over twice with the car" hanging up as the human is forced into the car then Edward gets into the front seat.

"How could you?" The human demands "you didn't need to do that!"

"The mongrel wasn't moving" driving us back to the human's home "I honked the car twice, even motioned to move but he just stood in the rood not moving. So I did what nature intended" Edward covers his mouth snorting.

"You mean what you wanted!" The human yells "You can't keep Edward and I apart!"

"I can" stoping the car automatically, turning to look at her that she pulls away hiding "and if you two do go back together, don't think I won't do everything in my power to end it because I will. Besides" smirking at her "Edward is my baby brother, in the end he knows what I do for him is what's in his best interests and your not good enough for him"

Turning around I drive again thinking of that Demetri, I can feel him finding me. That he has my tenor so I block him, I don't need any man drama. Even though my whole being is telling me not to block him. I need to get my life under control before thinking about men.

I don't have a great track record with men aka the few men I've had serious relationships with I either did the cheating or the man lied to me, was cheating on me by being married with a kid, or he was an addict that managed to lie to me. I won't let any of that happen again, I know my worth and I don't deserve some deadbeat—I deserve someone who knows me for me, sees me for me. That is what I'm looking for.

~Demetri's POV~

"Woah" Felix comes in as I am freaking out, I had her then I didn't but I was fine since I had her tenor but now? Where is she? What happened? "What's going on?"

"I can't find her!" Pickings the couch that I have in my room over that it breaks, looking at Felix who looks at me concerned with our friends from the upper guard suite "my mate is gone! I can't find her! Her tenor is gone! I had it then...ah!"

"Is she dead?" Santiago whispers

I snap by running at him, Felix grabs me holding me back as I snarl trying to kill Santiago for even suggesting what he was suggesting "What's going on?" The masters come in then.

"Demetri can't find his mate" Afton tells them "her tenor is gone"

"I'll call Carlisle" Aro says "maybe he can tell us if Violent Violet is dead" snarling at that "I mean" he corrects as Marcus hits him along with Caius "if Violent Violet is...not here then he'll tell us"

"Do it" Caius orders. Aro runs away as Felix keeps his hold on me firm, then some time later Aro returns all smiling a smile we all know all too well. His power hungry smile "Well?"

"She must have a gift" he says "cause she is very much alive, according to Rosalie Cullen since Carlisle was indisposed the girl ran someone over with a car"

"Huh?!" We're all confused but I won't be calm until my mate is in my arms. Where is she?
