"Violet" Edward says as he comes into the room "I want to show you something" looking over I see him open a ring box, to a Victorian style cluster diamond ring.

"That ring better be for your mate" warning him as I go back to my book "if it's for the blood singer then get a fucking prenup"

"She" cutting him off looking at him, getting up since this is a standing conversation "is not good enough for you. If she was she wouldn't have put you in the shit your in now" placing my hands on either side of his face to have him look at me "Edward you are my brother, way before we became vampires. I will not" shaking my head "see you ruin your immortal life on a human who does not deserve you. The real you, not this" waving to him with one hand "version that developed because he wanted to figure out who he is when all along the real Edward that I know that mother and father knew is still in there. The Edward that Carlisle knows is still in you, I don't know what happened to you but I'll make sure you remember who you are. Now if you want to propose to this blood singer" sneering her name "then fine, but don't" shaking my head "think I will support this union cause the moment you find your mate you will be given one option. Shaking my head, I go down to the others who look my way "Violet" Carlisle comes over "I know there isn't anything I can say but please...don't take Edward from us. He's"

"Do you remember" I ask cutting him off "what you told me all those years ago when Edward came back after getting a taste of human blood?" During his bender, Edward found me and we spent our time in Chicago drinking human blood though Edward had a hard time since he always managed to find his blood singers so he drank more. He's like our father where he's an addict, if only Edward had stayed with me for a little bit longer he wouldn't have a problem and no one would be in this situation "you told me that you'll get Edward to control again since even you knew that Edward was an addict like our human father. I assumed you meant human blood, get him to get control over drinking that but no" narrowing my eyes on him "you meant animal fucking blood. I made a mistake all those years ago one I will not make again"

Just then we see Edward bring the human in "I thought"

"She needs to see a doctor" Edward says and that human dares to send me a smile, I snarl at her causing her to jump back "she punched Jacob Black in the face"

"Let's see the hand" Carlisle sighs moving us to another room, shaking my head I storm outside needing to be away from the no good vampire.

After some time I'm joined by Rosalie "I know we've had our differences" Rosalie says "but I truly am grateful for you coming here"

"You should have called me the moment" shaking my head as I look out into the mountains "Edward decided to save the blood singer" the door opens and we hear the blood singer come out.

"Go blabber to someone else" Rosalie growls at the human "about the joys of becoming a newborn"

"Rosalie" the human says "Violet...I don't know what I did to make you both hate me so much"

Turning around quickly, I run at her grabbing her by her throat squeezing her of her air. She looks at me wide eyed "If you truly don't know why" lowly saying "I hate you, you are one big fucking imbecile so I'll say this so easily even a five year old will understand. You" shaking her as she gasps clawing at my arm "caused my brother to kill one half of a mated pair, you nearly got him killed, you being trouble wherever you go. You also had the option of being a vampire or not" aka she had the option before meeting the Volturi "you think any of us had a choice? We didn't and here you are acting all high and nightly. Now" going inside dragging the human "take this human" tossing her at the men, she rolls on the floor coughing "back to her home" going back outside to see Rosalie stare at me.

"You wanted a family" she says

Nodding my head "I did" looking out into the darkness "before becoming a vampire I fell in love, I got pregnant and my father didn't want me marrying someone like the man I fell for. He viewed my unborn child as a mistake" thinking back to my human days when I fell for man of lower class and not upper class like the doctor my human father had in mind "so he made sure there wasn't anything to tell"

"What did he do?" Rosalie growls

"Paid some five men to beat me" I say to her "but because he didn't want any shame knowing that I was a slut he paid the men extra to rape me, that way when I did marry a man of his choosing the man wouldn't turn me away"

"Were you turned then?" She asks

Shaking my head no "About a few weeks later when I was strong enough I went on a bender, did some drugs and my creator Jaime found me. He bit me since I was also struck by lightning that same night—he took me away from my family, from Edward. When I found out about Edward I tried to stay in Edward's life, he was angry at me for leaving at first even though he knew my reasons were valid but he was angry since all he knew I had all but died. I technically did that night the men killed my baby and raped me...I always thought" letting out a laugh as some tears fall down my face "that I'd fall in love again, have a few children and watch as our children grew up and had children of their own one day"

Letting out a chuckle "I'm not sure I'll ever meet him, with how badly I've chosen men these last few decades..." I don't think I'll ever meet him, even though I do badly wish I would. Maybe I don't have a mate.
