Run!

Above the skies, but below space, lived a huge kingdom. Mountains so big, it'll take years for a human to climb them, Lakes so deep, you'd get trapped just by looking into it, and flowers so beautiful, you'd want to smell them forever. They called it, Evermoor...

Dragons flying through the sky every day, and then transforming into their human form, so that they could fit the doors of their houses. Just like every fairytale, this one also has a king and queen.

King Malik and Queen Avyanna, those were their names, the biggest dragons of them all. It was a very happy kingdom, and soon, more happiness would enter the King and Queen's lives. Nine months later, they had a baby girl. Eira, they named her, she had eyes as white as snow, rosy cheeks, blue hair just like her parents, and a scent of Lavender you'd never forget if it was, you sniffed her. Avyanna and Malik swore to love her till the day they were no more.

After a few years, little Eira who was now three, learned how to walk, talk, and soon, she was going to learn how to fly. Since Malik had some work to finish up, Avyanna decided to play with Eira for a little while.

Avyanna got her cute dresses to wear and made her hair into a cute bun, but something bothered her, every time she'd brush Eira's hair, it'd grow longer and longer, very fast. She checked books, old scripts, she even used her special dragon magic to find answers, but nothing was to appear. This secret was only known to her...

By now, Eira who was now ten knew how to fly, she wasn't 'little Eira' anymore. One day, when her mother was brushing her hair, Eira asked a question, "Mum, why does my hair grow so fast?" "Well, I don't know." Still smiling, she braided Eira's hair. Eira turned around to face her mother, "Hey, you ruined a perfectly good braid!" Avyanna pouted.

Eira turned back to look at the mirror, and then fixed her braid up. "There, all done. Now, can I go flying?!" Her eyes filled with excitement. Avyanna sighed, "Sure, just don't hurt-" Eira already dashed off, "...yourself." She smiled and went downstairs.

"Your highness! Your highness!" The royal informer called, Malik sighed. "What is it now, Rune?" "Your highness, the kingdom is being attacked! We have to do something!"
"Oh no, Eira is out there!" Holding Malik's shirt, Avyanna talk-yelled.

"What?! Call the team, they need to search for Eira! In the meanwhile, the soldiers will fight out there! That's an order!" Holding the Royal Informer's collar. "Y-Yes your highness."
"I'll go get the Royal Advisor." Avyanna left in search of him.

"Let's test out my flying skills." Eira was on top of the castle, 2973rd floor, on the terrace. She closed her eyes, and let go, as soon as she opened her eyes she was flying. Her blue scales shone in the moonlight, her eyes glittering, and her smile oh so beautiful. She sored through the sky doing all sorts of flips, twists, and turns, shouting like crazy when she spotted something, something she's never seen before a fight.

She lost balance and fell, not uttering a word, still eyes on the two fighting men. She seemed to study them, both of them injured and still fighting... "For what?" She asked herself. An inch closer to the ground when something picked her up, it was her mum and dad, in dragon form. Eira riding her dad.

"Mum, dad. Where did you come from?" She asked, "We live here." Malik said and then laughed shortly after. 'Weird, in a time like this, he was still laughing?' She thought to herself, but then something huge stopped them on their way.

"Don't you know you should never stop a king?" Malik said agitatedly. "Hand over the girl." The huge beast said. "What the heck are you talking about?" Avyanna said standing up for her rights, Malik putting his arm before her.

"I said, hand over the girl." He said calmly but with a hint of anger. "No." Both parents said, sticking with their daughter. "HAND OVER THE GIRL!" The beast roared and Avyanna, Malik, and Eira were separated all lying on the ground.

"Mum! Dad!" She said in a soft voice. "Eira!" Dad shouted "Eira!" Mom yelled with tears in her eyes. "I've been waiting for you all my life, little girl." The beast said.

"Hey, I'm not little anymore!"
"You possess the most powerful gem in this world and beyond!" Time stopped. What the hell was he talking about?

"What?" Eira said standing up.
"You really didn't know. Your hair..." Pointing above her forehead.
"It's the most powerful thing, darling you don't need to be afraid of me. I'll help you learn how to control it." She said taking her hand out.

"And how can I trust you?" Eira said moving closer to her parents.
"Because...I'm just like you." She pulled her hoodie back revealing a girl with short hair.
"But, your hair's short." Eira raised an eyebrow. "That's because my power doesn't work anymore. It's because these dragons locked me up and tortured me, they starved me until my bones were visible and even the merest ray of light fell like someone stabbing me..." She took a deep breath and looked at Eira again.
"I'm here for you because I don't want you ending up like me. I don't want you to lose your gem, because if that happens...then..."

"Then what?!" Eira was determined to know. "Then this, Evermoor...will crumble, and so will the earth and its people, and if that happens, then nothing will ever exist."

"Your lying!" "WHY WOULD I EVER LIE?!" She yelled throwing daggers at Malik. "No!" Eira's hair covered Malik like a shield.
The beast smirked, "Powerful..."
"Identify yourself," Eira said confidently, her eyes that were once white, were now red.

"Simple. I'm...you."
"Me?" Eira was confused.
"Well, partly...I'm you if you don't come with me." Future Eira smirked.
"Yeah, so believable," Eira said sarcastically.

"If you don't believe me, ask me a question only you know..."
"Fine," She put her finger on her chin and thought for a second, "What unique feature do I have on my forehead?" Eira crossed her arms waiting for a reply. (Btw, It's always hidden, even Avyanna and Malik didn't know about it.)

"A blue dragon flying around the moon..." She looked at Eira who was shocked. "What? How the heck do you know?" She yelled.

"I told you, I'm...you." She revealed the same sign on her forehead, except hers was totally black and lifeless.
"We have to leave, the full moon is almost done." She pulled out her hand once again and opened a portal, "This will lead us to the human world, where you'll live from now on, to protect you from Zeus." (Greek name, I know...¬_¬)

"Who's Zeus?" Avyanna said.
"I already explained, the leader of the dragons who will torture younger me."

"Mum. Dad." She said pointing to her forehead where her mark glowed. "Mum, what's happening?" Something was pushing Eira to Future Eira.

"Eira!" Avyanna yelled.
"Eira come back!" Malik also yelled.

"I love you Mum and Dad, and I promise I'll see you again. That's my promise to you." She said with tears in her eyes. "I love you too, Mum, Paps. See you." Future Eira said and made a peace sign with her fingers and they both went in.

"Eira!!!" Avyanna scream like a madwoman, of course, it's understandable. Malik comforting her, knowing he put his daughter in good hands... (Just so you know, Malik knows Future Eira. So...yeah."

A few years later...
"Boy, I'm tryna meet your mama on a Sunday

Then make a lotta love on a Monday (ah-ah)
Never need no (no), no one else, babe
'Cause I'll beSwitchin' the positions for you
Cookin' in the kitchen and I'm in the bedroom
I'm in the Olympics, way I'm jumpin' through hoops
Know my love infinite, nothin' I wouldn't do
That I won't do, switchin' for you" Eira sang while listening to her playlist. (She has a great voice.)

"Eira! Eira time for breakfast!" Future Eira, scratch that. Mom said.
"Coming down Mom!"
