Delta wandered on streets of the city lost in her own thoughts. As she was shocked by Eza request, all her memories faded away. Everything was blur for her. 

Suddenly a carriage hit her and she rolled down and banged her hand on a stone. As people gathered there to help her. Kate immediately came, picked her up and placed her in her carriage and left to the Duke's mansion in Belfast.

A concerned Kate expressed, "Oh! Dear Delta, please wake up, you have to be in a conscious state."

Kate took her inside the mansion. She placed Delta on the bed and called a physician.

The Physician came and prescribed the medicine and left. Meanwhile Kate took care of Delta. She prepared a cup of hot ginger tea and served her a bowl of hot tomato soup after Delta was Conscious. 

A shocked Delta asked. "Mrs. Klen, What am I doing here?"

Kate responded with happiness, "Not Mrs. Klen, call me 'Mother-in-law'."

Delta shockingly expressed, "What? I think I could not hear clearly. Was it mother-in-law?"

Kate sat beside her, caressed her hair and said, "Yes, dear. Call me mother-in-law."

Delta intriguingly asked, "You hated me, right?"

Kate politely replied, "No Delta, I never hated you. I was against this marriage because I did not want the history to repeat itself."

Delta with a curiosity questioned, "What kind of history?"

Kate recited her past, "Delta, when I had initially married John, our married life was good for the first 2 months but one day I came to know that I was infertile. This shocked me to the core and John distanced himself from me. He was loyal to me and swore that he would never look at any other woman and he did keep that promise. Though he was loyal, we did not have sex at all for many years and he became a workaholic."

An emotional Delta calmed her, "Mother-in-law, I am so sorry."

Kate wiped her tears and replied, "it's okay, Delta. John was fully engrossed into his gardening business 24/7. I felt lonely and decided to adopt a child. My maid had become pregnant before marriage and wanted to get rid of her child but I requested her to give birth and hand it over to me. She agreed."

Delta was shocked to the core, panicked and asked, "Nate is a maid's daughter?"

Kate responded with inner strength, "Yes, he is."

Delta empathized, " I am extremely sorry about your struggles."

Kate warmly replied, "It's life dear. This is bound to happen. I was scared because your marriage was forced and your infertility may lead to failed marriage like mine and that is why I wanted it to protect you from sorrow. But what I see is my son was definitely not like his father. I am proud of my son."

Delta happily said, "Yeah, Nate has been so supportive and spicy as well."

Kate intriguingly asked, "Spicy? Does he still eat a lot of spice?

An intrigued Delta asked, "Nate like spicy food?"

Kate replied, "Yes, he does."

Delta smirked with her eye-brows raised and whispered to herself, "Now I know where the spiciness comes from."

Delta panicked and exclaimed, "Mother-in-law! I need to go to Galway, Eza is injured and I need to see her now."

Kate replied, "Sure, let's go dear."

In the Finnegan house a chaos has erupted as the maid who witnessed the incident between Eza and Delta revealed Eza' evil intentions to the family.

An Erlyn slapped Eza as she fell to the ground, "How dare you? You Witch. How could you even do this? You are an evil.

Eza sobbed, "I am sorry mother. I have realized my mistake. I was not on he right path but now I am."

Ernst sarcastically said, " You? On the Right Path? It's not possible. You know what Eza, you have just expressed your frustration of your first season's failure in the marriage by either tearing all the sheets of the Eye-Opener or punching and destroying the pillows or crockery."

Marvel quickly replied, "Hey! What's wrong with you? 

Ernst questioned, "What happened Marvel?"

Marvel responded, "Don't tell Eza to break the crockery, that's expensive."

Ernst lost his patience, "You fool! You have got to be kidding me."

Trevor interrupted, "Shush! both of you. Eza you have disappointed us and this was not expected from  you."

A heartbroken daisy said, "I considered you as my role model Eza. You broke my trust and perception towards you."

Eza, with tears flowing from her red eyes , replied, "I won't defend myself at all because I am 100% wrong. I cannot believe how could I do this. I am ashamed of myself."

Delta and Kate entered the room.

Delta said, "No need to apologize Eza. I understand your feelings."

Ernst hugged Delta and sighed a relief. 

He said, "Are you okay?"

Delta responded, "Ernst, I am fine."

Eza fell down to the floor and apologized by touching Delta's feet, with her tears continuously flowing from her swollen and red eyes.

Delta immediately made Eza stand and both hugged each other.

An ashamed Eza said, "I am really sorry. I don't know what happened to me."

Delta said, "It okay, you apologized and that matters."

Ernst said, "Since Eza is so interested in getting married, I think next season she should find a husband and hope she would find true love in her book. Oh! I mean 'season'."

Marvel humoursly said, "Now, I feel like crying."

As an emotional moment spurred, The regent came with a letter.

He said, "Sir, we have received a letter from guard at 'Our Cottage'."

Delta asked, "What is it?"

Regent replied, "There has been a huge fire outbreak at 'Our Cottage' and Mr. Nate was inside the cottage at that time."

A panicked Delta ran out to get the carriage, followed by others and all of the headed towards 'Our Cottage'.
