I woke up in the morning, and I looked at the watch, it was fifteen-minutes past eight. My wife was not there, I knew that, she could have gone to prepare breakfast with her friends. I woke up and after getting refreshed, I pulled over fresh clothes, and after offering my prayers, I walked out breathing the fresh air in. The ladies had prepared upma which is made of semolina, and we ate under the open sky, as the sun was rising above horizon, after doing our dishes. We were enjoying the views of nature, as the houseboat was kept on autopilot mode, which would regulate, and stabilize the houseboat. After a while, Ravindran and Jay informs that, we are now going beyond fixed route. Jay, Ranjita, Surendran, and Khusboo were in drivers' cabin, and we too accompanied them. We were in the driver's cabin, glaring at the rivers, and our boat tearing through the river. Hawks, swans, and marsh birds were invading the space around us, singing petulant cries. It was impossible to feel annoyed with river vagaries. We saw stags, foxes, around the banks for the rivers, and drifting amount the driftwood, and disappearing, so suddenly, that it was impossible to see how they managed it.

As our boats thundered on the river, so the river Godavari becomes serious, it ceased trifling. Ravindran was looking at the computer, scrolling through the google map, and he informs that, there is a small town, in case if we want to purchase provisions. The boat was halted, and there was a shopping centre nearby, we purchased provisions for our trip, as we all were great foodies, and I was the greatest foodie, and the laziest among the lot. There we met a policeman, and he said, "There would be flood today. I would like to say, when you proceed, there are no villages or town in the next eighty miles, and the river too is still rising. After eighty miles there would be hardly, three or four villages. You can halt here, or you can halt there, at the villages, after crossing miles." We thanked the policeman, and we decided to move, as we were quite excited, also as the zone ahead would be secluded place, so we can halt there without any disturbance, and it was based on assumption. Of course, we had our fellow friends who are in police, and they have carried guns for protection. Thanks to our friends who trained us on firing few shots. We had enough medical aid too, thanks to our friends, and of course my wife.

As the boat moved, the policeman's prophecy had come true. The wind began to howl, and the rivers were rising, as the sky began to pour. After a while, the rains halted, but the river was rising, and the sun again began to appear, over the horizon. Our boat teared through the rising river, throwing splashes over the river. We saw few islands on the rivers, which were tearing apart by the gust of waves. Our boat was strong enough to bear the battering of the waves, as our houseboat was immense to board twenty-five people, so it had a good capacity to sail. This houseboat has been used several times, so we were confident enough, about its overwhelming capacity. The hawks, swans and birds singing petulant cries, and the water splashed booming the surrounding, we saw stags, foxes, drinking water, and after a while, the Godavari became more serious. There were small rivers and streams meeting the river, making it mightier, and it made a resounding splash, giving a push to our boat, but our boat stood stable, upright, like a spirited horse, sprinting through the blocks proficiently.

We checked for the weather updates on the internet, and ahead it would be raining, also, during that time, we decided to halt here, perhaps, a camp in the nature. We checked for Google Maps on computer, and, we had physical map, and it indicated that, there are secluded places. We have the boat as our refuge, so we will stay in boat and camping in boat, under the open sky, in the womb of the nature. We decided to halt near the banks of the river, and thus the houseboat turned to the left, and halted, under the murky sky, where the clouds were huddling. The wind blowing down, and thus scattering the black clouds. Our room was to the left of the boat, and it was facing the dark beautiful forest, and our friends, who had their rooms towards the right, had a great view of river. I examined the site; the banks of the river were 3 to 4 feet above the river. The sunset point was covered with flying spray, the rivers were roaring, dashing against the banks of the river, and throwing huge droplets of water on the leaves of the tree, the rivers were swirling, creating small whirlpools. As the rivers dashed against the banks, it gave an impression that the ground is moving, the river was not descending, it kept on raging.

A singular emotion gripped me; it seemed like loneliness has invaded this region, and we are all alone in this secluded place, cut-off from any human touch. A curious feeling gripped me, the wild beauty of this place entered my soul, the shouting hurricane, and the raging sound of the river gave an ominous suggestion. There was a vague impression of the elements in this region, perhaps, this region is under some elemental forces or some. The trees, bushes, and swaps were spread all around, they connected to the elemental forces of this region, it insidiously attacked my mind, a power here is not friendly to us. Great revelation of nature, never fails to impress humans, in one way or another. In the afternoon, the ladies prepared scrumptious dishes, we had rice, fried mackerels, prawns' gravy, fried potatoes, and chapatis. We had our lunch under the open sky. The tables, and the deck chairs were towards the right of the boat, near the driver's cabin, we enjoyed the view of the river, and the forests. In the evening, the winds continued, there was rain after our lunch, but later in the evening, there were only howling winds. We came to know that, it was raining heavily thirty kilometres away from this place, and perhaps, it was wise to halt here for a day. We have inspected the place, post our lunch, and the place was quite safe for us.
