~The Way I Lead~

~Why is she so sad?~ Jack asked looking at Nandini who was sitting in the garden with a sad face, but still her face glowing in sunlight, innocence reflected in her face.

"Maybe she is missing her family." Manik said, looking at her, he was itching to pull her into his arms and take care of her but she didn't want to hurt her either.

~Let me go to her..?I will comfort her.~ Jayden whines like a kid.

~look who is talking about comfort, when did you last speak softly..~ Jack asked sarcastically, making Jayden glaring at him. Manik rolled his eyes.

~As if you were born to do PhD in love.~ Jayden said, Jack whined like a kid.

~I am...i speak softly...not killing like you.~ Jack said, with a tight smile.

Jayden glared at him, ~I am born with that nature can't change....You wolfie, know to pet only. A cute pet.~ Jayden said sarcastically.

"Both of you stop it...both grow up a little." Manik said irritatedly, eyeing at Nandini who was looking at the forest area now and then. He frowned and then immediately something clicked in his mind.

"Jack...I have. Work for you." Manik ssid.

~not interested, get lost.~ Jack said, turning his face.

~ see how much attitude he has.~ Jayden said.

~ As if you don't...You and Manik Malhotra have a big attitude.~ Jack said showing his tongue.

"Jack, JD stop it.It's about Nandini." Manik strict words made both stop and become serious.

~ what is it?~ Jack asked, Manik said something, both nodded but Jayden was whining like a kid, which both ignored.

Nandini sitting in the greenery and thinking about her life. It's been three days since she 's been living under Manik shelter, which makes her more nervous and worried, she feels safe with him. Fab4 made her more comfortable like her own house but she worried what if Varun hurt her family. She is so scared to talk about this to Manik too, within these three days she gets to know he has a bad temper, always being angry at something, smiling is so rare.

He didn't speak to her much, but made sure she ate on time, slept and was comfortable around him. She feels something around him, but she doesn't want to name it. He said he loves her but somewhere she is scared to fall in love with someone she wants only for a few days, and mostly a Capo of Mafia.

Her trance broke when she heard a howling sound, looked around to see no one but soon someone came from behind a tree, made her so happy.

"Finally I met you....you know I missed you so much.", Nandini excitedly ran to the person who stood near a tree, proudly.

Wolfie howled and licked her face made her giggle more, she hugged him and kissed his forehead made him jump in happiness but two people made faces seeing it.

~mate kiss..mate kiss Jack.. yayayaya..~ Jack shouting and dancing.

~Don't be so happy..after she accepts me, I won't let her kiss you.~ jayde said. Jack rolled his eyes and danced, shaking his butt.

~lets see..thankq Manik for this.~ Jack sent a flying kiss to Manik who threw it away in an imaginary way.

"where were you? I miss you.." Jack trances broken hearing Nandini voice emotional.

~No cry cry.~ Jack said, licking her tears away, which she can't hear but smiled at him. She sat on the ground, patting her lap, as if asking him to Lay down. Jack blushed as if he was Alpha, if someone heard he was pet by a human.

He sighed and lay down her lap, comfortably, closed his eyes. Nandini caressed his body fur.

~Huh..great alpha pet by a human..What a scene.~ Jayden said sarcastically.

~You are ignored by me.~ Jack said, rolling his eyes.

"Jack do what I said..." Manik said strictly. Jack nodded knowing he can comfort Nandini, because with manik she still feels still nervous.

"You know many things happened in my life..I hope my baby is safe..and my family..I want to meet them.." Nandini told all to Jack, who listened to her quietly.

~Mate..no crying..Jack, Manik and grumpy Jayden to take care of you.~ Jack said looking at her, no response from Nandini, Jayden glared at him.

"I know you want to comfort me right...I can't understand your words." Nandini gave a sad smile, caressed his ear and made him swirl in joy, she giggled.

Nandini frowned immediately and looked at Jack, who looked at her in confusion, "How are you here?? Inside the Manik mansion?" Manik, Jayden and Jack are shocked. They didn't think she would ask this.

"Jack, don't get shocked, she can't hear you." Manik said seeing Jack stood like a statue.

"Ohh...no ayyappa.." Jack looked at Nandini. "Don't say you're his pet." Nandini said in shock. Jayden laughed rolling on the floor, hearing her words.

"Wow!! A monster pet a wolf..no wonder he is different...." Nandini said.

~hahahahaha....pet...see my mate is like me..She too thinks Jack is Manik pet...hahahahaha..~ Jayden laughing rolling on floor, Jack pouting like a kid hearing her. Manik bit his lips controlling his laugh seeing jack.

~manikkk you tooo...~ Jack whined, Manik laughed loudly as he can't controlled.

~no no Jack is not a pet...i am king.~ Jack said but Nandini never listened.

"Now I can always see you...I have company. Yeshhh." Nandini said excitedly, making the trio shocked.

~Shit...Manik..do something.~ Jayden.

"Won't you stay with me." Nandini asked sadly seeing no response from Jack.

Jack felt bad, he too wanted to stay with her but if he stayed, then manik can't be turned into human.

Jack about to nod no, when a sound came behind, Nandini turned to see Abhi standing.

"He can't stay here always Nandini." Abhi said.

"Why? He is Manik pet na." Nandini asked, holding Jack's leg , who looked at her sadly.

"Manik don't keep Jack here... Because many businessmen or some people come..if they see jack then might cause problems..so Jack lives in the forest more..if you want to meet him. Say to Manik or us. We will take you." Abhi said, Manik sighed in relief.

"Thanks bro, I will leave you to Romance with your wife." Manik said in mindlink, made Abhi blush.

"Ooh ok." Nandini said sadly, turning to Jack who tickled her with his nose rubbing into her neck. Abhi smiled and left from there.

"Hehehe...no issues I will come whenever I want to see you." Nandini said, rubbing his nose.

Jack smiled, and jumped around her, making her smile, tickling her now and then, he loved to hear her giggling and laughing. Jayden and Manik were happy to see it.

Nandini sat on the ground, breathing heavily, rubbing her stomach, which took Jack's attention. He knelt down, near her stomach and nude with his nose, Nandini smiled, caressed his head.

"Baby is tired of playing with you. She slept." Nandini said, caressing it, Jack saw the smile on her face, which is actually one.

"You know this baby is my only happiness now. I am alive till now only because of it. One and half years I was in depression and pain of losing my first baby, I didn't even see him but he left..now I got this. At Least I hope I can save her now." Nandini said with tears, a smile on her lips made the three feel bad. 

Jack patted her stomach slowly with his leg and caressed it, he could feel the baby, feeling so happy unknowingly as if his kid.

"She will come out soon, don't worry..You can see her." Nandini said. Jack brake happily and jumped, making her laugh.

~I think she has a deep connection with that baby.~ Jayden said, looking away. Manik nodded.

~You think we can love that baby.~ Jayden asked him. Who shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know, but if Jaan(Nandini soul) and Nandu want it, we have to do that." Manik said, eyeing Nandini's stomach and her smiling face.

"Capo, we only got this much information." Cabir said, showing a file.

"Nandini is orphne, she was adopted by Ram and Ishita when Nandini was 15...They saw her in one event and adopted her. Late adoption only, but become close to them. She and Varun are friends from college, he is her crush. Varun was adamant to marry her as his family didn't accept Nandini. So Varun immediately married her in the second year of college. Then it all happened.." Cabir said. Manik burns in anger reading the files and Cabir words.

~We should kill him soon Manik.~ Jayden said with red eyes.

~Where are her parents?~ Jack asked Cabir.

"They are in Shimla, under Varun's safety. I asked our mens to get them." Cbair said, Manik nodded.

"I want them to get here soon...before Varun." Manik said,Cabir nodded and walked out.

Manik leaned on his chair rubbing his forehead in tension, many things revolving around his mind. 

"Capo...You need to come.." Manik trance was broken by mutkhi who looked at him in worry.

"What happened??" Manik and Mukthi run inhuman speed to the hall to see Navya sitting holding her head, Cabir and Abhi beside her.

"Is all fine?" Manik asked, Abhi nodded no standing up, Mukthi took his place.

"Navya, what happened?" Manik sat in front of her at the glass table.

"I saw something... something not good Manik...it's so scary..," Navya said in tension, all frowning.

"What exactly did you see Navya..?" Manik asked.

"I can't remember...all I remember is I heard someone screaming...blood everywhere...It's so scary Capo." Navya said, hiding into Cabir's arms, who kissed her head now and then, calming her down.

"What could it be?" Abhi said, rubbing his chin thinking.

"Maybe something related...What is going to happen?" Mukthi said.

Manik about to speak but,"Navya didi..You fine?" Manik turned to Nandini hearing her sweet worried voice.

"Are you fine?" Nandini asked in worry, holding her hand.

Navya smiled lightly,"I am fine baby. Just a headache.." 

"Oh, wait..let me make black tea, my Ma teached..it will vanish your headache..wait.." Nandini said and ran to the kitchen hurriedly.

"Nandini...slow down.."Manik shouted running behind her, Nandini stopped on her way, hearing his shout.

"Are you mad? You are pregnant, don't run..what if you hurt yourself?" Manik ssid holding her waist, Nandini looked down biting her lips.

"Sorry...I won't..from now." Nandini stammered due to his closeness and strict tone.

"Be careful please.." he murmured, kissed her side face, made her look at him in shock, looked down with a pink cheek.

She nodded and walked inside slowly, rubbing his cheeks which became red. Manik sighed and kept looking at her working in the kitchen, taking weird things which he never knew.

~I feel something when she is working in our house..in our kitchen.~ Jack looking at her dreamily.

~Here comes the dramatic serial fellow...I think you should stop seeing aunty serial.~ Jayden said, Jack rolled his eyes.

~did I ask your opinion...~ Jack asked, eyeing at him, Jayden made whatever face.

"Wait..." Both were startled hearing Manik shout. Even Nandini who turned to him in shock.

"Are you fine?" She asked in worry. He nodded yes, rubbing his nape and walked out, leaving confused Nandini behind.

"Ayyappa..Why is this guy so weird? One side angry bird, one side he cares for all.. hiding too many things..What exactly he is?" Nandini thought, rubbed her stomach side where she could still feel his warm hands there, which made her lips lift lightly thinking about it.

~why did you come here??I want to see mate.~ Jack whines like a kid.

"Shut up...i want to say something..did you both notice?" Manik asked both who made confused faces.

~What did you smiled today?? Because it's the only thing that happens rarely.~ Jayden said, yawning.

"Urgh not that idiots..It's Nandini...i touched her.. Nothing happened.. didn't you guys noticed." Manik words ring Bell in both minds, looking at each other and Manik in shock.

~ REALLY???~ Jack and Jayden shouted in Manik's mind, making him hold it in pain.

"Yess it happened...I didn't push back." Manik said, smiled unknowingly.

~Maybe because you worried for her and baby...So you could touch her?~ Jayden said. Manik nodded murmuring yes.

~Yess please both understand..she needs us and baby too..She can't choose between us...What if she says she wants a baby? What if she never falls in love with you.." Jack said, which made Manik angry.

"Nooo..She is mine..she should fall in love with me..i will make of that...she only belongs to me, us...I can't leave her. I found her after a thousand years. I won't...I won't..I will make sure I will burn all the way to her, she only walks on the way I lay which leads to me. Only me." Manik said with red eyes, looking at Nandini's smiling face while talking with Navya.

Jayden nodded on his words. Jack somewhere agreed to it, because he needed her, but forcing something he hates,he is possessive but somewhere he wants his mate to accept him for herself. He looked to the side to see Nandini's soul looking at them. Her smile says she only let Manik to touch Nandini. Jack wants to speak with her but with Jayden or Manik he can't..They will be hurt more.

"What the fuck you mean by they escaped??? I bloody left them in your place....I don't know I need them to be here soon....They are only a trump card to get Nandini...for something...or else you won't be alive.." Varun shouted and threw the phone on the wall angry.

"Urghhh...fuck...Shit...I should get them before Manik...if he get them..Nandini easily will get away form my ahnds...no no that shouldn't happen...i need to say to him soon about it.. before he kill me..." Varun said something in tension. Called someone from his phone which he thrown in angry but thank god it fallen on soft mattress

"Hello...sir..I am sorry..Sir..please..try to understand...i tried my best..But that Manik Malhotra came between.." Varun stammered in fear hearing the person otherside.

"Sir please...that Manik Malhotra is dangerous, not like we think.... Mainly he loves Nandini..He won't let things easily get out of his hands....Sure...that means Nandini should hate him..." Varun said in confusion and smirked hearing otherside.

"I understand...I will make her hate him..she herself will come to me...I got it..Sure sir.." Varun cut the call and smirked.

"Manik Malhotra. You get them...I will make sure Nandini hates you..." Varun smirked.

Nandini stood in front of the Manik room, nervous, for 15 minutes near his door. She came to talk to him about something..But didn't have courage.

"What are you doing here?" Nandini got startled hearing a voice, turned to see Manik standing behind her.

Manik asked through the eyes of her. She looked at the door and him, and hit her forehead. She had been standing outside an empty room for 15 minutes.

Manik chuckled inwards and looked at her, "What happened Baby? Any issue?" Nandini blushed while hearing the baby, he was calling her that only, baby or princess or fill whatever he wanted.

"I..i..came to speak to you.." Nandini stammered, Manik sighed seeing her. She always stammered at him.

"Can you speak clearly, I hate someone stammering on me." Manik said softly but his words were rude to Nandini who looked down.

~Speak softly..Manik..~ Jack shouted.

"Nandu..." He stood near, held her both hands while shivering between his large hands, "Don't stammer to me..talk like you do with others..I am not going to eat you." He said, making a weird face made her giggle, but biting her lips controlling it, made him smile.

"Good..Say what happened?" Manik asked, lifting her face and holding her chin.

"Hmm..my parents...Are they safe?" Nandini asked in worry, Manik looked away.

"My mens will find them soon.. Don't worry. Varun can't hurt them..Ok.." Manik said caressing her soft cheeks, taking it as time, or else he can't touch her.

Nandini nodded looking down, Manik studied her face and leaned closer to face , making her feel nervous. Nandini wanted to push him, but her hands held his sleeves tightly, against her wish.

"You are so soft..." He murmured, leaning closer to her lips, Nandini too leaned closer to him unknowingly.

"Manikkkk....why did you tell our men to kill her parents?" Manan got startled by Cabir's shout.

"What??" Manik asked in confusion, Cabir came running up, about to shout but stopped sensing Nandini, looking at manik in shock.

"What are you saying? Kill my parents...why??" Nandini looked at Manik with hatred.

"Cabir what are you saying?? I didn't gave any comment like that?." Manik growled.

"Then how I got to know Manik..see this..." Cabir said, showing his phone, which his mens sent a message of killing Nandini parents.

Nandini cried seeing it. Looked at Manik in tears and hatred, "This is how you are taking care of my parents...You are trying to kill them.." Nandini shouted at him, made him angry and hurt that she didn't trust him.

~We didn't gave any comments like that?~ Jayden shouted but nowhere Nandini could hear. Manik and Jack stood silent in hurt.
