My name is Dr. Rosanne Jasnel, Head Archaeologist and Archivist from Curatrix. I'm writing to you on behalf of the team regarding the journals we have recovered from a recent archaeological dig in the Black Hills.

On top of that, The Guardian Tomb has been found at our other dig site—a feat none of us believed we would ever achieve. It's still hard to believe! Remnants of the Orbs that once existed there are being found—a discovery that could change the world as we know it. I am a firm believer in science and history, but the Orbs contain a mysterious energy foreign to Earth—the possibilities of what this means are infinite.

We have also discovered thousands of ancient artifacts, hundreds of them journals from these digs and others (though I am currently working in the Black Hills site). We have only just begun unearthing them. Several are in poor condition, but we're still working on restoring and repairing them as much as possible. The majority have been damaged, and only a few have been found intact. They are written in various languages at different times, but they all seem to be from the same writer (Nasan) as we have discovered some of his previous journals and other objects throughout our search.

After researching Nasan for most of my life, I'm excited for what these new discoveries mean and what we can learn about his history—and more importantly, his whereabouts, as I know that's our highest priority—and yours, sir.

I'm digitally sending the journals to you as we unearth and restore them with copies of the originals and a copy of the translation. I apologize for sending them to you out of order, but I have faith that you can make sense of the writings anyway.

The first one that we found was written in English. Overall, it wasn't damaged and didn't need to have any repair done to it at all. All we can see is a little bit of water damage and some smearing of the ink. I hope this catches your interest as it caught ours. I will be sending more when we have them repaired and ready for transit.
