Imagine being at the same club as Tom (part 2)

Imagine being at the same club as Tom (part 2)

(Tom's POV)

Why on earth did I convince Ben to bring me to this club I keep thinking to myself as I glance down at the dance floor from where I am stood on the balcony. The club was way too crowded to even consider trying to get on the dance floor, let alone break out some moves. "Cheer up. You should be celebrating", Ben chuckled loudly, putting another drink in my hand as he came to join me. The music changed to a different song, and the dance floor seemed to surge in a storm of people. "They are crushing those people stuck in the middle", I say, my eyes fixed on a young girl dressed in blue as she tries to battle her way out of the crowd, circling around shouting something. "She's probably drunk. Like what you should be!", Ben said loudly running back over to the bar to get even more drinks, doing a moonwalk. I roll my eyes and loosen my collar; it was getting a bit to warm in here. Perhaps another drink might help. I look back down and the surging crowd on people and I can't help but watch the young girl struggling to fight her way out, as men on both sides of her grab at her. Someone should stop those morons, that's no way to treat a woman I think to myself as I watch her, sighing in relief as manages to stumble out, and fling open the fire escape door and head out into the fresh air. "Here you go big boy! Bottoms up!", Ben laughed brining over two large tankards of what looked like beer as the noise of the club seemed to increase. "What is it?", I practically shout at him trying to get heard over the noise. "A Boilermaker! Your brother had one in that film, you know... Erm... That one!", he giggled as he began downing his one, encouraging me to join. I shrug my shoulders, and start to chug it down when I hear something that makes me stop, and I stop, not that Ben notices. I look out over the dance floor, and I hear it again, but a scream. At first I thought it was coming off the crush of people, but no. Then I hear it again, much clearer, before it suddenly stops, and the noise of the club resumes. I frown, just as my eye catches a heavily drunken man entering back in through the fire exit door, fastening his zip on his jeans whilst something shiny hangs out of his pocket. His nose looks broken and he has blood running down his head, but he staggers through the crowd and practically disappears. I suddenly realise that the young girl that exited through the door a few minutes ago hasn't come back in, and my mind puts two and two together. I slam my glass down and rush down the stairs, not caring if anyone recognises me. I dash out of the fire door into the alley and have to hold back a scream of horror. The young girl was lying slumped up against a skip, her dress hanging off her, ripped and bloody, her hair plastered to her face in blood, unconscious. I run to her side and check her pulse, and breath a huge sigh of relief, she's still breathing. I take off my jacket and cover her up with it, before pulling out my phone and calling for help. She started to stir after I'd finished the call, by which time Ben had noticed my disappearance and found me outside. "Get some water", I told him, trying to stay calm as my concern for the girl grew. "What's going on here?", a gruff voice said, as a bulky security guard came storming up to me. "Get away from that girl now sir!", the man shouted, pulling out a taser from him pocket and pointing it at me. "Woah! No. Please, calm down sir! I didn't do this!", I spluttered alarmed, raising my hands in surrender. "Aghhhhhhhh", the young girl said as she started to wake up, her body shaking. "Sir, step away. Now!", the man threatened again, his finger resting on the tasers trigger. Reluctantly, I moved away to the opposite wall, my eyes firmly fixed on the panicked girl as she opened her eyes, both confused and alarmed at what she was seeing. The security man forcefully then turned me around, slamming me into the wall whilst grabbing my arm and forcing it painfully up my back into a police lock. "Oww! Stop it! Look you've got this all wrong!", I tried to explain to him as the girl began to take in the surrounding. "Stop struggling! You are under arrest for assaulting this woman. Now, come with me", he barked, pushing me by my twisted arm painfully back towards the club. "No. You're wrong", the girl shouted, before hunching over into a coughing fit. The security man looked at the girl, then back to me, not convinced, but thankfully Ben came back. "What's going on? What are you doing you stupid man? The guy you want is in the toilets chucking up. Suggest you get him before he runs", Benedict said, taking the water to the girl, trying to get her to drink. I looked desperately at the guard, just hoping that he would believe me. "Alright. What does he look like?", he said, loosening his grip on me, but not fully letting go. "Skinhead, broken nose. He has her necklace in his pocket. I believe he stole it from her before he ...", I trailed off, feeling sorry for the girl. The guard nodded, letting me go and quickly dashing inside. "Ben, go help him. Il stay here and wait for help", I said urgently to him, rushing back to the girl, and he left. "Wow, you're really Tom Hiddleston", she said kind of in a daze as I knelt down next to her, helping her to drink the water. "Yes, am I really that recognisable?", I joked to her, and she laughed, before erupting into another coughing fit, this time coughing up blood. "Oh god!", she yelled terrified seeing the blood, and finally noticing the condition she was in as she erupted into another coughing fit, clinging onto me for support. "What's your name?", I asked her urgently as her eyes started to unfocus, her breathing struggling. "Y/n", she said weakly through hagged breaths. "Please, don't leave me. I'm scared", she whispered as she clung onto me tightly. I could hear the ambulances approaching but she was struggling to stay conscious. "Stay with me Y/N. Stay with me", I said trying to keep her eyes fixed on me as she began to close them. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head just as the ambulance pulled up at the bottom of the alley. I scooped up her frail body in my arms and carried her to the waiting ambulance. I was not going to leave her.
