You look at the clock in a panic. It reads 4:53, Louis would be here in exactly seven minutes.

"Shit!" You mutter as you hurriedly clasp on another earring. Lou was taking you out to dinner and it's also the first time that you'll be introducing him to your parents, after about a month of dating. You wanted to look your best for them and you prayed that Louis would have the same idea in mind.

The clock reads 4:56 as you touch up your makeup, grab your handbag, and run downstairs. Of course, your parents are already waiting by the door.

"Dad, please don't scare him," you plead as you wait for Louis to arrive. Your father chuckles and shakes his head.

"We'll see," he teases.

Suddenly, at 5:01, the doorbell rings. You jump and quickly brush out your long red dress before opening the door.

"Hi Louis," you smile as he greets you with a kiss on your cheek.

"Hello Jana," Louis smiles widely at you before directing his attention to your parents. "You must be Mr. and Mrs. Haitham!" Louis exclaims as he reaches out his hand, "I'm Louis. Louis Tomlinson."

Your father looks impressed as he takes Louis' hand and shakes it. "Anthony Haitham," he says in a deep, firm voice. "I assume you've got good intentions with my daughter?"

"I can assure you sir, your daughter is in good hands," Louis smiles. "We're just going out for a bite to eat and I can assure you, I won't have her back any later than seven thirty."

Your mother breaks into a smile as she looks up at her husband. "I think he's a good one, Anthony."

The two of you end up leaving the house with both of your parents' approval. You go off to enjoy a lovely dinner and come home, ending the date with a good night kiss.
