#37 (Princess Series)
Hi! GlitterGiraffe here, and, well, I'm feeling a bit down. Anyway, enough about me, how's life going? Are you chillin' and going with the flow? Or are you living life hard and hitting some hard edges? Either way, stay strong and keep moving with your perfectly imperfect self. Enjoy!
IMAGINE YOURSELF...
Standing in silence. The only problem was that you didn't want there to be silence. You wanted to scream at the the top of your lungs, and kick and punch people. But you couldn't. You were a princess and princesses do not throw temper tantrums or get their way over a fit. They are taught, from the very beginning, to accept what you are given, ask for no more and you will be given no less, ask for less and you will be given none. It was simple. Do what you are told when you were told and how you were told to do it. Your dad's voice rang though you head. But you didn't want to. You didn't want there to be a silence, you didn't want to have to be fake. Because, you and your actions around others were fake. Every like you laughed at, every tear shredded at funerals, and every word spoken out of you was fake. You were fake. At least, to the public eye. To the public eye, you were a sweet girl with a large heart. And, it's not that you aren't, but you aren't(not a typo). You were what everybody thought you were but it was how you were brought up. You were taught to cry at burials and weddings, smile at feasts and gatherings, laugh at jokes and the jester, but sometimes you just didn't want to. And, now, was one of those times. You didn't want to put a wide smile on your face and play the part of the happy betrothed. You wanted to smack your father for making a decision that important in your life for you. But...that wasn't how a princess was to act. And you were, in fact a princess, so you weren't supposed to act like that.
"Oh, how wonderful!" You mom spoke out and hugged you. You didn't hug back like you were supposed to. "Well," your mom pulled back with a complex look on her face, "aren't you happy?" Now, was it. The time was now for you to either play the part or be the person you really were. Now was the time to either stick to the script or you could improvise and re-write the play. You knew what everyone wanted. Your father, mother, (g/y/h), and the rest of the Fredricks. And you knew what you wanted. You suckered in a deep breath before speaking...
HA HA HA! CLIFFHANGER BUT FEEL FREE TO COMMENT ON WHAT YOU WOULD DO. GOOD FOR THE KINGDOM OR GOOD FOR YOU? COMMENT!
