"I don't understand, Fili." You say, following the blonde haired Dwarf through the halls of Erebor.
Fili turns to look at you and continues walking. "You will, trust me." He says.
"Does it have something to do with Kili?" You ask, hopefully.
He smirks. "Possibly." He answers. You let out a little squeal. "Possibly not." He adds, a grin splitting across his face.
You whack his arm, laughing. "You're so mean." You state, smiling.
He chuckles and turns his head back forward.
He leads you down a secluded hallway and stops at a door. "Are you ready?" He asks. "Yes." You answer excitedly. Fili knocks on the door. "Who is it?" Kili calls from inside.
"It's me and Y/N." Fili answers.
It's silent for a moment and then the you hear some racket. Then silence. Kili coughs. "Come in." He says.
Fili opens the door and you get winded by the shout of "SURPRISE!"
Your eyes widen and your mouth slips open as you look over all of your family and friends' faces and then finally your lover's.
"I-I don't understand. It's not my birthday or anything." You say, glancing at Kili. He walks up to you and grabs your hands, his face glowing with love.
"Does it have to be a special day to have a party for you?" He asks. You half shake your head. "Uh, I don't know. It's just odd." You answer unsure.
Kili kisses your forehead. "It's just a party to celebrate you because I-we-love you so much." He says.
"Aww." You whisper, hugging him, tears stinging your eyes.
