"He is a Dwarf." He hisses. "And you're an Elf." You state. Legolas narrows his eyes at you and Kili smirks. "Will nothing work to make you both friends? I'd like to hang out with you both at the same time. But it seems impossible because you two are drama kings!" You exclaim, throwing up your hands. "Y/N, I'd like to be friends with him. It's just that he's-he's too-" Kili starts. "I'm too what? Better than you? Well, there is no denying that." Legolas says. Kili's eyelids drop into slits and he clenches his first, walking up to Legolas. "Stop!" You cry, stepping in between them. "Enough of this, all right? Maybe you just cannot be friends." You say, looking between them. "I'm sorry I even tried." You say, rolling your lips. You sigh and walk off. "I'll be right back." You mutter, as Legolas frowns and Kili looks downcast.
"Do you think we let her down?" Kili asks, looking to Legolas. Legolas shoots him a look. "Of course we did. She was trying her best to make us be friends. Yet all we ever do is fight." He says, shaking his head. "Now I feel really bad." Kili sighs. "Me too." Legolas agreed. Kili's face uplifts in a grin. "Hey...we just agreed on something." He states. Legolas smiles faintly. "Looks like we did."
Something rubs against Kili's leg and he jumps back, holding his hands to his chest. He looks to the floor and sees your cat there, peering up at him. "Oh, um..." He says, kneeling and holding out his hand. The cat rubs against his hand and starts purring. "Hey....I think she likes me." Kili states proudly. Legolas's eyebrows draw and he kneels. The cat leaves Kili and rubs against Legolas's knee. He smiles and Kili chuckles. "Friendly little one." Legoals says, running his hand down the length of her spine. ~
You tap the kitchen table, accepting defeat, when you hear Kili laughing. Your eyebrows draw and you look around. You turn around and walk to the kitchen wall. You peer around it and see Legolas and Kili petting your cat. Legolas's face is split into a huge grin and Kili is laughing. You smile as Kili grabs a cat toy. Your cat rolls on her back and bats at the toy. Legolas starts laughing. "Let me try." He says. Kili hands him the toy, the cat's eyes never leaving it. You laugh and Kili and Legolas look at you. "Your cat is so adorable." Kili remarks. "Thank you." You say, smiling, walking over to them. Your cat purrs as she looks between Kili and Legolas as if wondering if she'll get any more attention. Legolas picks her up and holds her as Kili pets her head. "Well, there's one thing you have in common." You say. Legolas looks at you questioningly. "You both like cats." You laugh. Legolas chuckles, Kili grins, and your cat purrs louder.
