I look him in the eyes, and I finally say: "Shawn, I am..."

No, I am not ready to tell him yet, I can't even imagine his reaction.

"Shawn, I am...so happy that I am with you, you have no idea of how much I am grateful for everything that you did, and I love you so much. I feel like I don't tell you that enough and I really needed to." I am such a coward.

He rests his hand on my cheek, caressing it. "You have no idea of how much I love you, Y/n, you really make me the happiest man in the world. But, are you sure that this is what you wanted to tell me?" Oh my God Shawn, you're are asking so many questions.

I lean closer to his face and I kiss him. "Yes, it's just this, don't worry." To distract him from asking me one more question, I say: "Would you like to stay here and eat something with my family?" He nods and gives me one more kiss, and then we go downstairs.

SHAWN'S POV.

I just asked Y/n about coming to the tour with me, and even if I told her that she doesn't need to give me an answer right now, I am dying to know. I really hope that she will say yes, I would never be able to stay far away from her for 9 whole months.

Nevertheless, I think that she needs to tell me something but she is hiding that from me. I tried to understand what is it, but I just can't, so I just hope that nothing bad happened.

We go downstairs, where there are her father and Allison, trying to cook something. While holding my hand, Y/n tells her father that I am going to stay here and have dinner with them, and he doesn't seem bothered at all, he's actually happy about it.

"Can I help you with something?" I ask. "Oh Shawn, you're too nice, thank you but there is no need." Allison answers. "Ehm, Shawn, can you excuse me for a second? I need to go to the bathroom." Y/n tells me and I simply nod, even if she is acting a bit weird.

She walks upstairs and then I can hear the bathroom's door closing. "So, how is it going?" Y/n's father asks. "Pretty good actually. I love my job and having Y/n as my girlfriend is the best thing that has ever happened to me, so I can't ask for anything better." He nods and answers: "My daughter looks very happy with you, I hope you won't break her heart or you'll have to deal with me." "I would never." I reply.

"Can you go to Y/n and tell her that dinner is ready?" Allison asks me and so I do. I go upstairs, reaching the bathroom. When I am about to knock on the door, I hear her talking: "Yes, I need to see the doctor, tomorrow. At 11? Perfect, thank you so much." Why does she need to see the doctor? What is happening?

In that moment, Y/n opens the door and when she sees me, she looks at me and asks: "What is it?" "Dinner is ready." I reply and she fakes a smile. "Is everything okay?" I ask, hoping that she will tell me what's going on. "Yeah, totally." Oh god, why are you lying?

When we head downstairs, I notice that her mom came home too, so I greet her, and after that, we start to have dinner.

After dinner.

"Everything was so good, thank you so much for this!" I say and everyone smiles at me. "We're going upstairs, if you need something just call me okay?" Y/n tells them and we stand up, going upstairs. Y/n closes the door and she takes her clothes off, and I can't help but stare at her beautiful body. I decide to take my shirt off, and while she is trying to find some comfortable clothes, I walk towards her and I give her my shirt.

She can feel my presence from behind, so she turns around and looks at me. "What?" She asks. I say nothing, I just make her raise her arms up and I make her wear my shirt. "You look so hot wearing my clothes." I whisper in her ear.

She looks me in the eyes, and in that moment I kiss her, and we quickly end up in the bed, me on top of her, without stopping kissing. I kiss her neck, knowing how much she loves that. "S-Shawn.." She stutters. "Mmh?" I mumble. "We can't do it, my family would definitely hear us." Fuck, she is right. I can make her moan so loud that the whole neighborhood could hear her.

"Fine, but just know that the next time I won't control myself, even if your parents are here, I don't care." I tell her, and she gives me a kiss on my neck and then she lays her head on my chest. "Oh, by the way, tomorrow I need to go to the doctor at 11 but I'll be back before lunch, so that we can eat something together." She tells me.

"Why do you need to go the doctor? Can I come with you?" I ask curious. "No, you don't need to come with me, it's just a random visit, making sure that everything is okay, you know." I don't insist, because I already know that she won't tell me the real reason why she is going there.

"Fine, you'll find me here since I don't need to go anywhere. Also, you told me that tomorrow neither your parents or your sister will be home, so we'll finish what we started." I tell her, and when she looks at me, I wink at her, making her chuckle.

The next day.

When I wake up, as I was expecting, Y/n isn't next to me. She must be already at the doctor. I check my phone and it's already 11:30. I get up and I head to the bathroom, and after peeing and washing my face, I am about to get out of the bathroom, but the trash bin catches my attention.

I accidentally look at it, and I notice that there is a pregnancy test. Wait a minute...This must be Allison's, it can't be Y/n's. I take it, and it's positive. Is this the reason why she went to the doctor? Is Y/n pregnant?

Y/N'S POV.

I am at the doctor and I couldn't be more nervous. Even if there is a high chance that I am actually pregnant, I needed to have the doctor's confirmation before telling Shawn.

"Hi. Sit down, please." The doctor tells me and so I do. "So, why are you here today?" She asks me. I take a deep breath and I explain to her the whole situation. "Okay, we will immediately check if you're actually pregnant, a lot of times happens that the pregnancy test is wrong."

She explains to me that I needed to take my clothes off and to lay on the cot. I do what she says and then she makes my legs spread. I have no idea of what she is doing, but after a couple of minutes, I can put my clothes back on and she tells me to wait outside because the results will be out in a little.

I walk out and I sit down. My hands are shaking, and I can't stop thinking about having a baby, my future, my family, Shawn.

After 20 minutes.

"Miss Y/n?" Someone asks and I stand up. "I am here." I reply. "The results are ready, come and check." I walk towards the door and then I enter, looking at the doctor. Am I ready to know the truth? "As I was thinking, the test you took was wrong. You're not pregnant." My heart skips a beat.

Wait, what?

"But...why is my period late then?" I ask, still incredulous. "It's normal, it will probably come in a couple of days. You don't need to worry, the test was just simply wrong, and you did the best thing to come here. Just be careful, okay?" She tells me. "Thank you so much." I say and then I walk out.

Thank God I won't need to tell anything to Shawn, he will never find out that I took that damn pregnancy test and everything is going to be fine. What else can go wrong?

So...Y/n isn't pregnant! But she still doesn't know that Shawn found out about the pregnancy test...
