okay here's the general plot of the book/roleplay

there's this famous group of performers called caraval that put on a really grand performance every year or so on their private island. it's like a game and usually you have to find something to win, but you can also just roam the island and find other things to do. it's rumored that caraval possesses magic, though those that have witnessed it does not reveal anything.

basically you get an invitation to attend a game, and obviously you go, and you participate. however you do so is up to you.

there will be violence and gore and death, but it's all a game, right?
