Sterling Facts:

— He was born in Chicago, Illinois but moved to Daegu, South Korea when he was 5.
— He's an only child but has always wished that he had siblings because there were moments when he was younger when he felt very lonely. So, he's grateful to be part of iMAGE because now he feels like he has the siblings he's always wanted. (Interview)
— He originally auditioned for and was accepted into YG Entertainment, where he trained for 3 years. He made many friends while there and is very thankful for everything that he learned but after failing to debut in multiple different groups and becoming extremely stressed, he ended up leaving and joining Rebel Entertainment.
— Sterling struggled with deciding what his stage name should be, but ultimately decided to go with his birth name instead of his Korean name because he didn't think his Korean name fit him. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— His go-to comfort food is bulgogi, mostly because it's one of the few things he knows how to cook. But, he also loves pancakes with strawberries and seafood pho.
— The one tattoo he has means a lot to him. There were a lot of moments where he either wanted to give up or had so much going on in his head that continuing felt impossible but somehow he always managed to, so he got the word 'persevere' as a celebration to finally debuting and a reminder to keep moving forward. (V Live)
— He's really close to his parents and tries his best to call them every day, but even if he can't do that he's still constantly texting them. (Interview)
— He's struggled with reading for years and was diagnosed with dyslexia when he was in elementary school. And while he knows there's nothing wrong with having dyslexia, it's still something that he's embarrassed about. So, he tries his best not to put himself in positions where he needs to read out loud for the first time. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— He struggles with relaxing when the group gets so he usually ends up working on music anyway or trying to help his friends with their music. (V Live)
— He decided to become an idol is because he felt like music was the thing he was best at, and something he could do that would make his parents proud. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— His all-time favorite show is Spongebob Squarepants. But, he prefers the older episodes and movies to the ones released more recently. (V Live)
— He's always had nice handwriting, and when he was younger he got into calligraphy and has amassed a large collection of expensive calligraphy pens.
— As an easy way to remember all the places he's traveled to, he tries to get magnets with each of the locations on it that he keeps on the fridge in the group's dorm so that everyone can both marvel at his collection and be reminded of everything they've managed to do.
— When he listens to music on his own, it tends to be something something lofi adjacent playing because he finds it the kind of music that keeps him the calmest. (V Live)
— In June of 2018 he came out as pansexual and panromantic in an Instagram post of a picture of himself with an unidentified male.
— In February of 2022 he once again used his Instagram to announce that he was and had been in a relationship with a fellow male idol for just over a year but didn't reveal the name of that idol until August of that same year.

Ideal Type: Someone who can be patient with him and will let him borrow their clothes whenever he wants to.

Dylan

Stage Name: Dylan (딜런)
Birth Name: Dylan Hwang (황딜런)
Korean Name: Hwang Daejung (황대중)
Position: Lead Rapper, Vocalist, Dancer
Birthday: January 14th, 1996
Zodiac Sign: Capricorn
Height: 175 cm (5'9 ft)
Blood Type: A
MBTI Type: ISTJ

Dylan Facts:

— He was born in Sydney, Australia and spent his childhood there before moving to Gwanju, South Korea just after he turned fifteen.
— His father died a couple of months in a fatal car crash. But, because his mom talked about him so much and shared so many pictures and memories of him Dylan has always felt close to him.
— He had really bad asthma when he was younger which put him in the hospital multiple times but it calmed down as he got older and started working out more (among other things). But, it did get really bad for a while right after iMAGE debutes which landed him in the hospital again. So, now he makes sure to carry his inhaler with him everywhere.
— He has one younger sister who he's very protective of because of how much time they spent together when they were younger. They text each other all the time (or at least he texts her all the time to make sure she's doing alright and taking care of herself, much to her annoyance). (iMAGE Snapshots)
— He learned how to compose and produce songs by teaching himself how to remix and/or mash up other people's songs.  It's something he still does in his free time or when he's stuck on a song because he finds the process calming.
— Whenever the group travels somewhere Dylan carries a Where's Waldo book with him so that he has something to entertain himself with. He's used to do them with his Mom and younger sister so doing them always brings up good memories. (Interview)
— He loves collecting and putting together Lego sets. His part of the dorm room he shared with Sterling and Grey was filled with Lego sets, and now he has a whole room at the place he shares with his husband dedicated to building and displaying them. (V Live)
— He wakes up the earliest out of everyone in iMAGE and has taken it upon himself to make sure the rest of the members get up on time for everything they need to do. (V Live)
— His favorite drink is milk. Most of the time he drinks whole milk, but he also really loves strawberry banana, and triple chocolate.
— He's the group's self-appointed dad joke connoisseur. Since everyone jokes that he's the dad of the group he figured it only made sense for him to joke just like them. Plus, he thinks it's funny when people get annoyed by them.
— He originally started working out because he was insecure about how he stacked up to the rest of iMAGE, but it quickly became something he enjoyed doing. Now he and Jae work out together all the time. (V Live)
— He's very particular about the kind of coffee he drinks; it's the one thing that he can be snobby about. On multiple occasions, he's admitted that the coffee and aplliances he uses to make it he uses is specially ordered and very expensive.
— He always feels incredibly awkward when people ask him to do aegyo because he doesn't think that it suits him, but he's never refused to do it when requested. So, he usually ends up blushing profusely anytime he does.
— If he hadn't become an idol he would've probably either opened a coffee shop or become a teacher like his mom. (Interview)
— He admires Konu and Grey for their ability to freestyle rap. He's gotten better at it over time and can now come up with something awesome on occasion, but he prefers to have time to sit down and think about any verses he writes rather than having to come up with something on the spot. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— In October 2020 he announced on Instagram that he was in a relationship with his childhood best friend Luke and that the two had spent most of lockdown together.
— In April of 2021 he revealed on Instagram that he and Luke had gotten married in March.

Ideal Type: Someone kind and understanding who can deal with his busy life and schedules.

Jae

Jae Facts:

— He was born in Seoul, South Korea.
— His dad is a member of the former boy group S.Y.T (aka see you there). The group didn't disband until he was around five years old so for the first few years of his life he was constantly traveling.
— Even after his dad retired from being an idol he was still extremely busy with the various things he did in the music industry, and his mom was busy with her job as a therapist. So, he ended up spending a lot of his time with his Grandma while he was younger.
— His Mom insisted that he learned how to play an instrument as he grew up, and he ended up picking the Violin because it was the only one he didn't immediately hate. Originally he really hated having to practice because he didn't think there was a point in learning how to play something, but over the years his opinion changed and now he's grateful to have learned how to play. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— His biggest inspiration for being an idol is his Dad, and one of his hopes is that iMAGE will one day surpass what his dad's group managed to reach. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— He's been designing and making his own clothes since he was a teenager and launched a fashion label in 2019.
— His biggest musical inspiration besides his Dad is BTS's Park Jimin.
— If he was an animal he thinks he'd either be a black panther or a cheetah. (V Live)
— One of the most touching moments he's ever experienced was seeing his Dad and his former groupmates at one of iMAGE's concerts. Even though he didn't show how he was feeling on stage, he ended up crying for almost ten minutes when they got offstage. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— Ouran Host Club is his all-time favorite anime and he's made it a tradition to rewatch it at least once a year.
— When asked why he is so frequently caught without his clothes on he said "If you want the simple answer, I just think the human body is beautiful and see no reason why mine or anybody else's should be hidden. But, the more complicated answer is that I've worked really hard to get the body that I have and I think when you work hard on something it makes sense that you would want to show it off. And as long as you aren't hurting anyone, you should be able to."
— His most listened-to genre is R&B, followed closely by EDM and Dance Pop. (Interview)
— He hates doing aegyo. He's good at doing it, but he's stated multiple times that he often feels like he's too old to be doing it, and that he wishes it wasn't something idol's are expected to do.
— He struggled a lot with anger when he first joined Rebel Entertainment from a lot of undealt with inferiority issues which resulted in him lashing out at everyone around him. It's something that he's really ashamed about and will probably have to make up for, for years, if not the rest of his time in the public eye. (Interview)
— Whenever he has a free night, he loves to go out clubbing. He's said that there is something extremely freeing about getting tipsy and then dancing with a bunch of strangers.
— He loves dating reality shows. His favorite is the Bachelor/Bachelorette series but he also enjoys watching Love is Blind. (V Live)
— Even though he doesn't consider himself a gamer, he does love playing the Sims 4. He's filled his games with mods and loves to make complicated and drama-filled storylines. He mostly does it in his free time but occasionally he'll post a recap of the drama that's gone down during his most recent play sessions.
— Whenever he gets extremely stressed out he likes to go on long runs by himself. Unlike a lot of people though, he hates listening to anything when he runs so even though he has his headphones in he never actually has anything playing through them.
— He's a decent cook but an even better baker. His specialty is chocolate chip cookies, but he also really loves making cakes. (Interview)
— In July of 2019 Dispatch released an article alleging that Jae was in a relationship with another idol under Rebel Entertainment. Attached were a couple of pictures where Jae's face was visible but his companion's wasn't.
— A few days following the release of that article, Rebel Entertainment released a statement confirming that Jae was in a relationship with a fellow artist under the label but declined to say anything more.
— In October 2019 Jae finally took to Instagram to confirm that he had been, and still was in a relationship. He declined to say exactly who that person was, but let it be known that he was very happy and asked everyone to be respectful of his choices.

Ideal Type: Someone confident and outspoken. He likes people who aren't afraid to speak their minds and people who aren't nervous when it comes to who they are and how they look.

Blood Type: O
MBTI Type: INTJ

Representative Aura Color: Tan
Instagram: @konuuu

Konu Facts:

— He was born and raised in Busan, South Korea.
— He's stated that even though he'd considered his family as being close, he knows that it's a closeness that other people might not understand because a big part of their relationship was being able to honor each other's need for space. Which he thinks is a big reason they've been able to consistently stay close to each other. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— Since both of his parents are teachers, there was always a big emphasis on school while he was younger, and he was expected to keep his grades up while he was in school.
— While in school, people tried to take advantage of him because they thought his laidback and accepting nature was a sign of weakness. But, since he isn't one to be taken advantage of or bullied, he ended up starting and winning a fight against those people that ended those attempts before they could start. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— He got into a lot of fights when while he was in school because of how low his tolerance is for seeing people get mistreated, but as he got older he decided there were better ways to deal with it than fighting.
— His first introduction to rapping was being dragged by his friend to a rap battle. He's always been a fan of clever insults and humbling people who need it, so when he learned he could do both to willing (and often deserving) people he was immediately determined to become a rapper. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— When he first started rapping, he thought the easiest way to set himself apart would be to elevate his vocabulary. So, he started reading dictionaries to help himself do just that. (Interview)
— A lot of people assume that he's cold or mean because his facial expressions don't change often, but he just isn't a very emotive person. Most of the time he finds it easier to stay neutral, though he's said that's been harder to do while part of iMAGE because of how determined everyone is to make him smile.
— Over the years he's gotten good at replicating other people's facial expressions which has earned him the nickname 'face stealer' because of how accurate he is.
— Konu has stated that he's the closest to Sterling out of everyone else in iMAGE because of how long it was just the two of them living and training together under the company. (Interview)
— Even though he and Sterling are the closest, his relationship with Jae is the one people get to see the most often. They act like two bickering brothers; which Konu has said is because he likes to make sure that Jae never grows a head that's too big for his body.
— He prefers to deal with his emotions on his own so whenever he is struggling with something he likes to self-isolate somewhere and work through things himself instead of turning to his group mates for help. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— He doesn't tend to drink a lot because he hates feeling like he isn't in full control of his body. (V Live)
— He's talented at playing first-person shooters, and if he wasn't an idol he would've probably become either a streamer or a professional player.
— He loves eating extremely spicy food and is known to eat things at spice levels that would make most other people cry.
— Sunglasses are his favorite and most owned accessory. Even if it's not sunny outside he is usually carrying at least one pair with him.
— He's always been embarrassed by his smile so whenever he does he usually ends up covering his mouth.
— His least favorite color is pink so he makes sure to complain every time stylists put him in it, no matter how good people claim he looks in it. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— He's very big on people taking care of themselves, especially his groupmates who all tend to forget to take care of themselves. So, he's made it his mission to annoy them into doing so whenever he notices that they've been neglecting doing so.

Ideal Type: Someone he can feel comfortable around and doesn't try to keep their needs and wants to themselves.

Minsu

Stage Name: Minsu (민수)
Birth Name: Kang Min Su (강민수)
Position: Lead Vocalist
Birthday: November 16th, 1997
Zodiac Sign: Scorpio
Height: 173 cm (5'8 ft)

Mint Facts:

—He was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea.
— While in school, he was bullied by a few  of his classmates. The combination of him being extremely shy and a routine teacher's pet made him an easy target, plus he never fought back against the people who tormented him.
— His dad enrolled him in martial arts classes a few years after the bullying started in hopes that it would push him to start defending himself (which it didn't). He took classes in both Hapkido and Taekwondo, and worked hard to get as close to mastery in each as he could.
— He auditioned for and made it onto America's Got Talent when he was 11 years old and made it to the semi-final before getting eliminated. When asked about the experience in an interview, he said: "It's something I'm really grateful to have experienced. Even though I didn't win, I learned a lot while on the show, and even though I didn't fully understand all of it at that age it helped me a lot as a grew older and became more sure of who I wanted to be. So, the show will always have a special place in my heart."
— After leaving America's Got Talent, he convinced his Mom to let him stay in Los Angeles for the rest of the year. While there he spent most of his time improving his singing and dancing, along with doing a lot of touristy stuff.
— It was only after returning to South Korea that he decided he wanted to be an idol, and that's also when he started seriously teaching himself how to dance. (Interview)
— People used to tease him about how often he would switch companies. They called him Dasher, which used to annoy him, but as he got older he stopped caring. He's only ever been focused on making sure he ended up somewhere that he felt comfortable. (V Live)
— He first auditioned for Bighit Entertainment and trained there for three years alongside BTS before leaving to join JYP Entertainment. He trained there for a year before leaving to join Cube Entertainment. He was supposed to debut as a soloist under the company but ultimately ended up leaving after two years. Which is when he finally joined Rebel Entertainment.
Rebel Entertainment approached him about joining and offered him a spot in their upcoming boy group. He agreed but insisted on auditioning before joining despite their insistence that he didn't need to.
— He auditioned by singing the song Earned It by The Weeknd and dancing to Boy In Luv by BTS.
— He was really overwhelmed by how extroverted the rest of the boys were when he initially joined the company and moved into the dorms, so for the first few months he would spend most of his free time by himself so he could try and refuel in between practices. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— Even though he loves what he does, he's always hated all the promotions that they have to do. So, during most interviews, he tends to end up zoning out on accident and blankly staring into space.
— He's a massive bookworm and can almost always be found tucked away in some corner, flying through whatever book he's managed to pick up. It's always been an easy way to calm himself down and forget about any troubles that are bothering him (V Live)
— Unlike a lot of his group mates, he loves dyeing his hair different colors, the brighter the better. He thinks it's the easiest way for him to express himself.
— He loves reptiles. He's been fascinated by them since he was young and finally decided to get some in 2020, during quarantine. He got two hog nose snakes that he named Cinnamon and Clove, and he opened an Instagram account for them later that year.
— One of his biggest love languages is gift-giving so, he is constantly buying his group mates small gifts.
— His all-time favorite snack is honey butter chips, but his second favorite is bananas. He tries to eat the bananas as often as possible because he knows that they're much healthier than the chips, but he often ends up eating chips anyway. (V Live)
— Over the years he's worked hard to establish his sense of spirituality and has become someone who loves doing tarot and collecting crystals above every other practice he's gotten into. He makes sure to do a spread every morning and is always open to doing one for other people. And he likes to give people crystals that he thinks will help them. (V Live)
— He got his first tattoo after leaving Bighit Entertainment to commemorate his time there, and it led to what he likes to describe as an addiction to getting them.
— Though he doesn't consider himself an amazing dancer, he constantly gets praised for his ability to mix dancing with his martial arts skills.
— Every month he does a livestream where he talks about the books that he read during the month and recommends his favorites to aura.
— He came out as Bisexual during a V Live in 2019, before reaffirming it on Instagram a week later.
— In mid-2020 he announced that he had gotten married in 2018 to his boyfriend of almost 4 years. And later that same day, he and his partner went on V Live together to answer questions.
— Minsu has stated multiple times that while he isn't trying to keep his relationship or his husband a secret, he does think it's better for their relationship to mostly keep it to themselves. So, while he is open about talking about their relationship and some of the important/funny moments, he keeps most of those details to himself.

Ideal Type: He used to say that he liked people who were patient with him and someone he could be close friends with before getting into a relationship. But now he just says that his ideal type is his partner.

Saturn

Stage Name: Saturn (강민수)
Birth Name: Kim Seong Jin (김성진)
Position: Lead Vocalist, Dancer, Sub Rapper
Birthday: September 28th, 1998
Zodiac Sign: Libra
Height: 168 cm (5'6 ft)
Blood Type: AB
MBTI Type: ESTP

Saturn Facts:

— He was born and raised in Pohang, South Korea.
— In total, he has four siblings: an older brother, two younger sisters, and a younger brother. He was close to all of his siblings while growing up, and even though they don't talk or see each other as much as they used to he still loves them more than anything. (V Live)
— From the time he was young, he's always been a very busy person. Between his Dad's insistence on getting good grades and trying to get him involved in his business, his Mom's encouragement for him to dive headfirst into anything creative, and his eventual decision to help take care of his younger sibling, he was always doing something.
— He started playing piano when he was a toddler; originally just because he thought the instrument was really pretty, but he also fell in love with how pretty it sounded. And then he started teaching himself how to play the ukulele when he was a teenager. (V Live)
— His Mom and Dad divorced when he was a teenager. Even though he understands why now, and thinks it was the right decision, when he was younger he took the divorce really hard and used to cry about it for hours before falling asleep. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— His parents went through a pretty intense custody battle, but his Dad ultimately won primary custody because of his better financial situation, leaving his Mom to only get him and his siblings one weekend a month (and some holidays).
— His Dad remarried less than a year after getting divorced, while his Mom remained single.
— Since he was young he's struggled a bit with depression and panic attacks because of how much pressure his Dad used to put on him, and it grew even worse after his parent's divorce because his Mom was no longer there to calm him down. (V Live)
— It was his Mom that ultimately convinced him to audition for Rebel Entertainment. Even though he'd always wanted to make music, his Dad was so firmly against it and determined to make him take over the company, that he'd given up on that dream. But, his Mom encouraged him to follow his dreams and eventually convinced him to at least try auditioning and see what happened. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— Though his Dad didn't outright disown him after he revealed that he'd been accepted into the company, he did make it clear that he was very disappointed and wouldn't support his son.
— Because of how his Dad reacted to his idol dreams, he became even more determined to make it. He hopes that if iMAGE becomes big enough, his Dad will have no choice but to at least acknowledge him, if not also accept his choices.
— He's even closer to his Mom now than he was when he was younger, and even though they don't see each other in person often, he doesn't think he could've accomplished what he has without her support. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— He had a really hard time choosing a stage name but eventually settled on the name Saturn because he thought it sounded cool and was similar enough to his name that it didn't seem like something completely random. (V Live)
— When he first joined the company, he had a really hard time because of how things ended with his Dad. But, he says that Konu and Sterling were really supportive and helped him out a lot in the beginning.
— Since he usually tried to help take care of his younger siblings while he was home, he loves how the other members treat him. He finds it freeing not to have so much pressure on him and instead be able to just relax and worry more about doing his best than keeping an eye on everyone. (iMAGE Snapshots)
— He has made it his responsibility to make sure Sterling lets loose though. He worries a lot about how much responsibility the youngest has on his shoulders and that combined with how much pressure he puts on himself to make everything perfect, he always tries to make sure that Sterling takes time to have fun and actually act like the youngest whenever possible.
