"Red," Teri called, gaining the short male's attention, "Today a human will be coming by and dropping off a skeleton monster who will be staying here for the year."

He nodded making his dark brown hair flop around, "M'kay, what time are they comin'?"

"'Bout noon I think, the paper didn't really say." Kato informed with a shrug.

Conversation ended as the three set to work. A few minutes before opening a small male pushed open the door, out of breath. "I'm here! Sorry, the line for checking in was crazy!"

"Thats why you get there early," Teri scolded, "Well at least you're here before opening this time."

The kid nodded fast and scurried into the kitchen, and with that, the small establishment was open.

Kato and Red greeted the customers with a wide fake smile, pretending to actually care what they mumbled on about. Teri and the plant monster, Flowey, who stayed with them a few years ago and never really left, stayed back in the kitchen. Noon came around faster then any of them expected.

Ethan Road, a scrawny little dude who was far too curious for his own good, pushed the door open making it whine in protest. He smiled so large Kato thought it would surely rip his face, "Hi!" He chirped, making the monsters roll their eyes in annoyance.

Kato just nodded in greeting, his white soul twisting as the human approached. Following close behind the overly happy teen, walked a tall pale monster that looked to much like Edge, if you ignored the different hair color and eyes. Plus this monster had a far more laid back posture and even seemed slightly taller then then his grumpy look-alike.

"This is Stretch Swap," Ethan introduced, "Stretch this is Kato, the monster you were assigned to stay with."

The far taller male gave a lazy grin, "Hey."

The shadow monster eyed the tall skeleton with narrowed eyes, before crossing his arms and giving a small pout, "Why is everyone so damn tall." Kato, the second shortest monster there, complained.

A snort was heard from the kitchen, "Suck it up."

Kato rolled his eyes but didn't reply to his sister, instead he reached out a hand and smirked, a evil gleam in his eyes, "Well, at least you're taller then Edgy."

Red rolled his eyes, but let a small smile slip onto his face. Laughter was heard from the kitchen, along with a few monsters who watched them curiously, and even Ethan gave a small chuckle. Stretch looked at the two small males in front of him in confusion, who the hell was 'Edgy'?

"Anyways," Kato continued, trying to ignore the strange feeling he got when the scrawny, and slightly taller, human laughed, "This is our beautiful restaurant that my sister owns, and we can proudly say that it is the only eating establishment in Rebirth that doesn't completely fail the human's health code."

"Damn straight." Teri yelled.

Kato rolled his dark gold eyes, "That was my sister, Teri, and this," he pulled Red up next to him, "Is Red! Our most awesomeness worker."

"Hey!" Flowey yelled, which was followed by a faint 'shut up and work'.

"Oh right, we also have Flowey."
