Ethan didn't stay long, as he had to head back to New Rome, the human town, but Teri cooked him up a plate of mac and cheese before he left. Kato led Stretch to the living quarters, which was a floor above the small restaurant, and showed him around. The upstairs was practically a spitting image of the downstairs, with its brick walls and cracked tiles. A few cobwebs hung in various corners and the only window was broken. There was a light bulb hanging by a thin piece of wire that Stretch nearly hit his head on when he walked into the living room/bedroom/kitchen area.

"So, I sleep here." Kato said, drawing the taller one's attention to a pile of blankets thrown on the floor. "Teri sleeps over there." He pointed to the part of the room that was sectioned off by two blankets held to the ceiling with some coat hangers and what seemed to be a stick.

Stretch just blinked, "Uh..."

"You will sleep here." Kato continued, taking a few blankets from his 'bed' and throwing them into a separate pile.

"I didn't realize Rebirth was this..."

"Crappy?"

"I was going to say poor, but yeah."

Kato shrugged, "The humans are just in the next town over, crime rates are high and we are so over crowded that no one has time to build nicer buildings, and even if we did, its not like the humans would supply us with the needed tools."

The bulb over head flickered before going out, leaving the only light being the sun filtering in through the broken window.

Kato cursed, "Damn light keeps going out." He muttered, a small pout on his face, as if this was a normal occurrence.

Stretch raised an eyebrow at the small monster before reaching up and twisting the bulb a few times before the stubborn light eventually came back on. Kato smile up at him, before gesturing, him back down stairs. Stretch sighed, what had he gotten himself into?

When the two walked back into the small restaurant, they were greeted with yelling. A dark haired raven monster stood in front of a nervous looking Red, the taller male had his arms crossed as he listened, seeming bored, to the yelling that was being thrown at him like bullets from a gun. The one who was causing the ruckus was a older male human with short white hair in an expensive looking suit.

"Sir, I understand that you are upset, but Red here has done nothing wrong." The raven monster said calmly, through his dark blue eyes betrayed his anger.

"I told you-" The man yelled, pointing a gloved finger into the monster's chest.

Kato cleared his throat, "What is going on here?"

The three men turned to face the young teen. "As I was telling this idiot," The human growled, waving a hand in the direction of the other two males, "That small child over there served me a stale burger."

"And as I told the asshole over there, that this is a monster run restaurant, everything is fucking stale."

Rubbing his eyes, Kato shot Stretch an apologetic smile before turning to the human with a large, fake, smile, "Mister..."

"Snow, Coriolanus Snow." The human supplied.

"Mister Snow, as Azazel," Kato gestured to the dark haired monster, "mentioned, we are a monster run restaurant, in a monster town. We are only given food the humans do not want, and most times it is stale. Now if you wish we can make you a new-"

"No." Mr. Snow grumbled, "I don't want any more of your disgusting food. I want a refund."

"Sir," Red spoke up, "I already told you, we do not offer refunds."

The old man made as if to slap Red, but Azazel stepped back in front of the small skeleton monster. "Sir, the rules do not allow me to hit you, but if you attack my friend here, we are going to have a problem."

"I want to speak to the owner." The human spat, his cold eyes glaring daggers at the other male.

Flowey poked his head in through the doorway leading to the kitchen, "Teri is takin' a piss."

Azazel rolled his eyes, of course she was. Kato sighed, "She isn't available right n-"

"I will wait." The human said, making Stretch, who Kato forgot was even there, snort.

"Look, you seem like you are high up on the human food chain Mr. Snow, so why the hell are you even in this part of town." Azazel asked with narrowed eyes. Kato mentally facepalmed.

Mister Snow straightened, looking mildly offended, "I am here to train Rebirth's Royal Guards, I have gotten word that they are slacking in their training."

Red flinched, "The Royal Guard?"

"Yes, it seems the head of the Royal Guard has been slacking," The man sighed, the stale burger now forgotten.

A sly grin creeped onto the raven monster's face, "So the little bitch finally messed up." He laughed.

Kato hit Azazel on the back of the head making the taller one pout, "Be nice."

"But you hate him too!"

"Do you know him?" Snow asked, raising a perfectly trimmed eyebrow.

"He's my brother." Red muttered barely loud enough for the old man to hear.

Woah its a longer chapter *le gasp* and right after another update *more gasps*

But yeah, sorry if it sucks and is confusing. Its 4am and I'm starving but moving takes effort. If you guys realize who Mr. Snow is, then you are awesomeness (hit: HUNGER *stomach growls*)

Anyway this is not what I had planned for this chapter but whatever...
