How was work. I ask Eric everyday.
It was ok I guess.
Nothing new but I do have some news for you.

My heart felt like it weighed a million pounds.
I know what he's about to say and I'm not ready for the "talk".

Eric's POV:

I know I have to tell here that I leave in a week for Iraq. Its hard on her and her face tears me a port.

Eric what's wrong you've not said a word in five minutes.
I..I.....I have to l..l.leave in a week.
Why do you have to leave in a week.
I'm need in Iraq so they are shipping us out in less then a week.
I know it sounds bad but its ok.
We're ok and nothing can change that.
