The beginning

  It's a week from my birthday. I'll be 13. This week is so slow. I don't have anything to do. My friends are busy. They're doing all that they have to do during the week. If Kessadra  doesn't change her mind , they are coming over. They are planning on spending the night. Kessadra will probably change her mind though. She is pretty mean. My birthday is Saturday. I was planning on having a party, but I realized that no one would show up. My dad won't be there. Silvia won't I hope. Kessadra will though. This week will be so slow and long. I have to do chores everyday. And work at my step moms store. She is making me work extra hard this week.  Today I had to do laundry, clean my room, and make lunch as my chores. At the store I had to , sweep and mop, fix the shelves , clean the bathroom, and make biscuits and pizzas. It's time for dinner now. I'm sitting at the table eating. Kessadra is not talking to me. Silvia isn't either. We don't sit in silence though. Silvia is on the phone with her friend. Kessadra is on the phone with my dad.

Yayy! It's finally Friday. My birthday is tomorrow. I'll be 13. Today has dragged on slower than any other this week.  Kessadra said they could still come over. Silvia will be at her friend's house. I'm so excited. I have to work twice as hard today. I had to wash dishes, do laundry (again), clean my room, and sweep/vacuum the entire house. It took me two hours to get all of that done. Then in the store I swept, washed the counter, and worked the register. I was busy all day long. It seemed that today was endless. Customers came in the store until five minutes before we closed. I had to close up. Then finally walk home. The store was only down the road from our house. I got back at around 7:30. My step mom and step sister were eating dinner. I came in , washed my hands, and sat down at the table to eat. They didn't say anything to me. We ate in total silence the entire time. They got done before me. I finished eating and went to my room. I got up my least favorite pair of pjs. Then I got in the shower and washed my hair. I got out and got dressed. Then I layed in my bed and fell asleep. It didn't take long.
