Sonic's P.O.V.
"Shadow!" I yelled once Dark let me take over.

He wouldn't answer me. He wouldn't look up, he was barely able to breathe. Tails and Rouge quickly looked at Shadow and went to call a nurse.

"I'm sorry... I-I'm... S-so Sorry..." I cried as I squeezed his hand. "Stay with me. Please."

Shadow looked at me, his eyes closing slowly and since he was still plugged into the heart monitor, I could see how his heart was beating slower now. He tried to squeeze my hand but I only saw his fingers move.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry I didn't believe you... I should had... Please... Don't leave me Shad..." I saw his heart beat going slower by the second until...

BEEEEP! It stopped.

"Shadow...! No...! No...! Please...! Let it be an illusion...! Please...! PLEASE!" I cried loudly.

I was pushed back by nurses and a doctor. I was pushed roughly out of the room that I fell and hit my head. I knocked out.

I woke up and immediately started looking around but I saw nothing. Everything was white.

The only thing around was the bed I woke up in. I was in a completely white room, not sure where or who brought me here.

I tried to look for an exit but I saw nothing until suddenly i heard his voice. I turned around trying to look for him. "S-SONIC!" It was just as when I heard him yelling at the hospital.

I looked around, running, the room seemed to never end. "SONIC! HELP!" I kept running, crying. "SONIC!" The voice...changed.

"SONIC!" It w-want Shadow anymore. I stopped running and growled.

"Where are you?! Where are you?!" I growled loudly as I stayed in place as I looked around. "Show yourself!!!" I snapped.

I heard a laugh. The one from before. I immediately recognized it. It was him, the one who hurt Shadow.

"I didn't think that Hedgehog was too weak." He laughed as he showed himself in front of me. I quickly launched at him but as soon as I touched him, he turned to dust. "Wasn't he supposed to be the Ultimate Life Form?"

"Where is he?!" I snapped as I turned and saw him. I tried to punch him but he disappeared again.

"Stupid question to ask after you saw him die." He chuckled. "It was too easy to kill him. He was already so weak because of you. So if you think about it, YOU killed your fiance." He smirked at me and I froze, tears streaming down my eyes.

"That's not true!" I yelled at him. "You're lying! He isn't dead!" I snapped. "Where is he?!" I yelled as I dashed to him but this time, when I reached him, I saw Shadow.

We were back in the hospital room. He was laying down, lifeless in the hospital bed as a nurse covered him with a white blanket.

I turned around crying and I saw Shadow at the waterfall, he was bleeding to death. I dashed to him but by the time i reached him, we were at our house. The one we had together.

"I HATE YOU!" Shadow snapped at me.

I couldn't hold back the tears as I kept trying for it to stop. I took a step back and bumped into someone. I turned and saw Shadow smirking at me. He was next to Metal Sonic.

"What's the matter Faker?" He chuckled and punched me roughly in the face. "You're too weak." He kicked me then looked behind him and looked at Eggman. "He's all yours." He left, leaving me alone with Eggman and Metal.

It's an illusion. This is an illusion. That wasn't Shadow. Shadow can't be dead. He's alive. I know it.

Metal immediately kicked me and started attacking me.

If this is an illusion...why does it hurt so much...?
