Pietro set Nadia down next to Wanda. The sisters stood back to back as they destroyed the army of robots. Pietro sped around next to them and was shot in the arm.

He ran over to the side and glanced at the police with a "Are you kidding me?" Look.

Wanda left to guide a group of people away. Nadia found Steve and the red hair agent. "Cap these people are going nowhere. Not until Stark finds a way to blow this rock."

"Not till everyone's safe," Cap replied. "Everyone up here versus everyone down here? There's no math there-"

"We're not leaving this rock with one civilian on it." The redhead sighed. "I didn't say leave." Both Nadia and Steve looked at her. She nodded. "There are worst ways to go."

Nadia nodded. "I've spent the past year doing some bad things. I'd be glad to die doing a good one." Steve looked at her and sighed. "Besides," the redhead started. "Where am I going to get a view like this?" The three of them stared at the clouds before they heard a new voice on their intercom.

"Glad you like the view, Romanoff. Cause it's about to get a whole lot better." Nadia gasped as she watched a ship come into view. "Nice right? Pulled her out of some mothballs with a couple of friends. She's dusty but she'll do."

"Fury, you son of a bitch." Steve chuckled. "Oo. You kiss your mother with that mouth?" Fury questioned. Smaller ships came towards the city and Pietro appeared in front of them.

"This is S.H.E.I.L.D?" He asked, watching the ship. "This is what S.H.E.I.L.D's supposed to look like." Pietro turned and looked at Nadia with a smile. "This is not so bad."

"Let's load them up," Steve told them, running off towards the people as the ships came closer. Nadia ran towards the crowd. "Let's go! On to the ships now!" She shouted. People ran past her and toward the ships.

"Thor, I got a plan." Stark came in. Nadia ushered people inside. "Go!" She shouted. "There's not enough time! They're coming for the core." Thor responded. "Rhodey, get all the rest of the people on the ships. Avengers? Time to work for a living."

Nadia made her way towards the church and entered after Wanda and Clint. "You good?" Pietro asked her. She nodded. "I'm good."

"Romanoff? You and Banner better not be playing hide the zucchini." Stark called out. "Relax, shellhead. Not everyone of us can fly." Romanoff replied. A truck stopped right outside the church and she came out.

"What's the drill?" She asked. Stark pointed to the core. "This is the drill. If Ultron gets his hands on it we lose."

Thor took down a robot and looked at Ultron. "Is that the best you can do?" He demanded. Ultron raised his hand and all robots came towards him. Nadia sighed. "You have got to be shitting me." She muttered.

Steve sighed. "You has to ask." Ultron grinned, "This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted. All of you, against all of me. How could you possibly expect to win?"

Stark looked over at Cap. "Like the old man said, together." The Hulk roared and the robots charged. Nadia began blasting them back and casting illusions of herself around some. Each Avenger protected each spot of the core.

Nadia continued to blast some away and cast illusions. Working back to back with others she managed to get rid of the robots.

She lifted herself up higher and dropped, landing on a few. Metal clacked and broke, machine parts went flying around the area. Nadia destroyed as many robots as she could before they all were gone.

Tony, Thor, and Vision went against Ultron blasting his backward. Ultron's veined turned red and he got up, weak. "You know with the benefit of hindsight-"

Hulk punched his into the sky, cutting him off. The other robots retreated and Hulk ran after them roaring.

Thor watched them fly away. "They're trying to leave the city." Nadia ran to the edge and tried to pull some back. "We can't let that happen. Rhodey?" Stark asked. "I got them."

Another Iron Suit flew through the sky. "Woah. I didn't say you could leave. War Machine coming at you." Vision tore through the sky and ripped apart robots. Rhodey paused. "Okay. What?"

Nadia retreated back towards her siblings. "We got to move out. I can tell the airs getting thin. You guys to the boats I'll sweep up any stragglers."

"What about the core?" Clint asked. "I'll protect it," Wanda told them. "It's my job." Nadia looked towards her sister. The others left and Pietro appeared next to Nadia. "Get the people on the boats." She told them.

"I'm not going to leave you here," Pietro told her. "Pietro's right," Nadia nodded, glancing at her brother. "I can handle myself," Wanda reassured them, blasting a robot back.

"Come back for me when everyone's off, not before." She told them. Nadia frowned but followed Pietro. "You two understand?"

Pietro grinned. "You know I'm twelve minutes older than you." Both sisters laughed. "Go," Wanda told them. Pietro carried Nadia off and set her down by the ships. "Be careful," Nadia told him.

"Since when did you get so big?" Pietro chuckled, rubbing her head. Nadia laughed. "I mean it."

"Careful's my middle name." He smirked running off. "That's a lie! It's Django!" She shouted, chuckling. She helped people find a seat. Suddenly Nadia heard gunshots.

"Everyone on now!" She yelled, ushering them on. She was helping an elderly man sit down when she suddenly felt cold and empty. She turned pale and stumbled backward. When she turned she saw Pietro, lying on the ground dead. "NO!" She screamed, pushing her was through the crowd and rushing towards him.

She ran towards the body, already crying. "No, no, no. You can't go. Pietro, please." Nadia begged on her knees. Tears fell down her face. She shook him and got no answer.

Nadia let out a scream of despair as she sat over him. She didn't just lose her brother, she lost her best friend, and apart of her. Steve began to pick her up, but she shook herself away. "No! You can't leave him!" She screamed.

Nadia began sobbing as she was lifted up over Steve's back. She kicked and screamed but it was no use. Steve still managed to carry her to the lifeboats.

Nadia sat there with her hands on her knees and her sobbing. Her brother was gone. She would never hear his voice again or have him tease her. And she didn't even get to grow up with him. More tears escaped as Steve carried her brother's body on to the ship and set it down in front of her.

She lifted her head up to look at him but noticed a robot getting away. Her body filled with rage as she got up and chased after it, ignoring the yells from Steve and Clint. She ran after the machine, following it into a broken building.

"Nadia." Ultron's voice sounded weak. "You can't stay here. You'll die." Nadia's eyes filled with tears. "You killed one of the most important people in my life. What more do I have to lose?" She asked, putting her hand up and slowly destroying the inside of the machine.

"And now you're going to feel every ounce of the pain that he did," Nadia told him. Ultron gasped, the light in his eyes slowly fading until there was nothing.

Instantaneously, the city began falling and Nadia floated upwards. She gasped, hitting the ceiling with her head. She felt dizzy and heard voices. "Don't worry Wanda, I found her." The voice seemed familiar. "Pietro?" She mumbled, falling into a moment of sleep.

"Not Pietro. I'm sorry." Vision told her, he carried the unconscious girl up to the ship her sister was in before flying off to find the last bot. Wanda hugged Nadia tightly, tears streaming down her face.

Vision floated down in front of the broken Ultron. He stared at him in thought."You're afraid."

"Of you?" Ultron asked. "Of death. You're the last one." Vision concluded, he spoke calmly and carefully. "You were supposed to be the last. Stark asked for a savior and settled for a slave."

"I suppose we are both disappointments."

"I suppose we are." Ultron agreed. "Humans are odd. They think order and chaos are somehow opposites and... try to control what won't be. But there is grace in their failings. I think you missed that."

"They're doomed." Ultron looked away, he knew he had lost. "Yes. But a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It's a privilege to be among them."

"You're unbearably naive." The robot sighed at his creation.

"Well... I was born yesterday."
