No war, only peace.
No husbands, brothers,
Wives, sisters, uncles,
Aunts, and parents,
Leaving U.S for Afghanistan.
Imagine, no such thing as 9/11.
No more lives are lost.
Leaving behind love ones,
Heartbroken and sad.
Imagine, world peace.
No more 21-gun or
Three-volley or 17-gun salutes.
Trumpets morn,
Bagpipes cry for
Their last breath,
Drums echo like
The last heartbeat,
Fighter jets scream
Across the blue sky.
Rifles shout their
Last commands.
The U.S flag folded
Neatly once more,
In God We Trust,
The last words said.
The symbols for
Honorable and faithful service.
All the United Nations,
Can agree equally.
Imagine, just imagine,
No more suffering.
Depression or suicides.

Men and women,
Are safe on U.S land.
