"Hello?" Stephen called out, walking down one of the hallways with Amber by his side. They approached three doors, each with different locations. Opening the centre one, a cool ocean breeze brushed over the two.

Stephen glanced down at the dial beside it and turned it, the ocean suddenly changing to a desert. Stephen walked away from the doors, pulling Amber with him.

"Hello?!" Hs yelled out again into the silence. The two found their way into an antique room filled with many ancient artifacts and relics.

Amber broke off from him, looking around at all the treasures. "Stephen, there's no one here."

"Look at this." Stephen signalled for Amber to come over. When she did, she looked into the case to see a deep red cloak. Next to it, a cloak of royal blue hovered in its own glass box. The red moved with Stephen and the blue moved with Amber.

She tilted her head, studying the cloak with narrowed eyes.

The duo wandered to the window before a loud noise echoed from downstairs. Quickly descending the stairs, Amber stood out front while Stephen shrunk behind a pillar. He grabbed onto her arm, yanking her back into him forcefully. With a silent scowl, they both watched.

Kaecilius entered the building with his disciples, scaring the young sorcerer. "Daniel, I see they made you master of this Sanctum."

"Do you know what that means?" The man asked back, his face stern.

"That you'll die protecting it." Kaecilius answered. He formed a transparent spear in his hands slowly as Daniel pulled out a relic. Turning to Kaecilius' nearest follower, he swung at the man, quickly knocking him down.

Doing the same to the next follower, Kaecilius interrupted him by stabbing Daniel through his gut.

"Stop!" Stephen vociferated, jumping over the railing onto the stairway platform. Amber jumped down beside him. Stephen seemed to tense up at the sheer sight of Kaecilius.

Kaecilius looked up, studying Stephen's concerned expression and Amber's ruthless one.

He sharply pulled the spear out, letting Daniel fall to the floor with a loud thud.

"Amber." Kaecilius greeted, tipping his head back.

Amber's eyes turned sombre. "Kaecilius."

Shifting his gaze over to Stephen, Kaecilius surveyed him. "How long have you been at Kamar-Taj, Mister...?"

"Doctor." Stephen corrected the title.

"Mister Doctor?" Kaecilius questioned.

"It's...Strange." he closed his eyes momentarily, tired of all the mix-up.

"Maybe. Who am I to judge?" Kaecilius said before turning, impaling Daniel again.

Amber and Stephen acted fast. Stephen formed his webs of strings as Amber formed her blazing rope. Kaecilius moved towards the stairs as two of his henchmen ran along the walls at them.

Stephen moved to the one on his left as Amber went for the one on the right. Dodging multiple attacks, Amber quickly smacked the man in the face with her weapon before sweeping her rope under his feet, making him fall. When the man leaned onto the railing, she round kicked him over it.

Stephen used his own hands to smash his fist into the woman's face and jump over the railing behind them. Using his weapon, he wrapped it around a vase like a lasso and threw it at the woman, making her topple over the stair railing as well.

Kaecilius, growing angry, threw his spear at the two, it getting blocked by Stephen's weapon and redirected into the wall above him.

"Stephen," Amber said lowly, her voice hinting with dismay. She fisted his sleeve, starting to tug it in the opposite direction. Her voice raised into a yell, "time to go!"

The couple turned and ran up the stairs and sprinted down the hallway they were in before. Stephen quickly glanced over his shoulder, seeing Kaecilius and his followers closely behind.

Noticing they weren't gaining space between them, he looked down to see the tiles moving with their feet, making both of them stay in place.

Amber and Stephen stopped running, turning to face Kaecilius. Stephen was the first to act, using his abilities to form small disk shields in front of his fists. With his right fist pointed out to Kaecilius, it sparked out suddenly.

Stephen looked down at his hand, shaking it rapidly.

"Oh my word..." Amber growled, doing the same action as Stephen, both of her shields tarrying.

Kaecilius jumped, moving to the ceiling and walking along it upside down. His two disciples moved along the walls, quickly moving to attack both of them.

With Stephen having one conjured shield and Amber with two, they used their fighting skills to the best they could.

Amber knocked the man that came at her in the jaw before grabbing him and throwing him into the opposite wall. His body thumped against it and he fell to the floor with a groan.

Stephen, not being able to hold off the woman very long, got kicked down the hallway away from the others. The man that Amber struck down seemed to recover, quick to gain on her again.

"Stephen!" Amber yelled out, twisting around to strike him down a second time.

"Amber, duck!" Stephen yelled back, standing to his feet. Doing as she was told, Amber watched as Stephen rapidly used his hands to form a whip.

Lashing out his arm, the woman flew over Amber's head and landed at the other end of the hallway with a screech from her body dragging on the wooden floor.

The room shifted, turning to the side. Stephen and Amber got thrown off their feet, sliding down to the wall. Glass shattered on Stephen's face, giving him a new cut.

Kaecilius tipped the room back and forth once, seeing how that did not work. Amber ran away from Kaecilius who was inches from her and grabbed Stephen by the arm, pulling him along.

Stephen didn't object, as he grabbed her hand and ran with her. Both jumped over fallen books, tables and smashed glass.

They both gained on the doorway but suddenly the room got turned vertically. Stephen quickly grasped onto a door handle. Amber yelped in surprise, her hand slipping from his. Her hands quickly latched around his ankle, her body dangling freely.

"Stephen! Don't let go!" She yelled at him as more books and objects fell past them.

Stephen looked down, watching as a few books crashed through the doorway glass at the end of the hall, giving him an idea.

"Amber you need to let go."

"What?!" she yelled, her eyes locked on his.

"Trust me!" He replied as Amber glanced down as well.

Seeing one of Kaecilius' stooges standing in front of the door. She got the same idea. Looking back up at Stephen, she gave a nod. Stephen nodded back, smirking.

Her fingers unwound from his ankle and she plummeted towards the woman. Kicking the woman out the door, she tumbled in the sand of the desert. Amber held onto the doorway tightly, glancing up to see Stephen stare down at her in fright.

Kaecilius tipped the room back, letting Amber climb back safely into the room.

His other follower ran at Amber, quickly throwing her away from the door when her hand reached for the dial.

Getting up, Amber dodged a kick from the man and went from the dial again but failing when the man grabbed her by her tunic, throwing her to the ground.

With time running thin, she ducked from a punch and successfully whipped the dial around. The desert changed into a rain forest and Amber got clamped into a headlock.

Grabbing his arms and bending her body forward, she launched him into the new environment.

Turning the dial successfully, she panted, turning to see Kaecilius running at her.
