"ÉTIENNE, WHAT JACK IS BRINGING TO THE STAGE RIGHT NOW, is what we in the magic world call a teleportation helmet." Daniel explained to the crowd pointed towards the youngest horseman holding the helmet under his arm.

Jack showed the helmet in his hand, the futuristic contraption looking mysterious and alien like as he held it up high for everyone to see.

Jack circled around Merrit and Etienne. "You will need to wear this, as it will allow you to literally fold through space and time to your bank in the 8th?" Merrit clarified facing the Frenchman.

Wren did wonder how anyone would find the whole idea anywhere near realistic. But the crowd had been hyped up beyond excitement at this point. Surely logic had long since flown out of the window.

Etienne shook his head slightly, "9th arrondissement." He corrected.

"Yeah." Merrit nodded with a shrug, clearly not caring about the little mistake, before focusing on the others around him.

"Now, once you are there, we will be able to speak with you through this helmet." Jack placed the helmet on Etienne's head as Daniel continued to elucidate the teleportation process to the man.

"Oh my God, that's beautiful." The audience laughed at Merrit subtle jab. "It has added attraction of being very stylish. It's about time the French learned from America on that subject."

The audience cheered loudly.

"It is."

The crowd continued to clap for Etienne, waiting eagerly for the trick to happen and to see how five unknown magicians would make true of their promise.

"Etienne, could you please pick a card, any card." Daniel ask holding the cards out for the man, a mischievous look on his face when Etienne was about to pick a card.

"Not that one." He joked pulling the card back when the neatly dressed man reached for one of the cards. "No that's okay, it's an old American joke. You can take that one." Daniel chuckled holding the card back out so Etienne could pick a card. "Now show it to your friends in section B, but not to us."

The horsemen walked away to make sure they wouldn't see his card even though they already knew what card it was. They only gave the illusion of their oblivious nature as they all stay clear of the card in the Frenchman's hand

"Now if you could just sign your name." Daniel handed him a pen. "In English if possible." He jested

"Huh, that's good." Merrit complimented the man's joke while Daniel as Wren chuckled

"Thanks."

"Put it in your pocket." Danny instructed when they all came walking back to Étienne and he did what he was told, carefully placing his card inside his pocket.

"And now for one tiny detail." Henley called out pulling a dark coloured cloth from her pocket and threw it in the air. they magically twisted and twirled around the stage and a machine appeared on stage.

"Now, Etienne, Let's step into this cockamamie contraption. And I'll step of off of it." Merrit motioned the man forward.

Danny and Jack moved forward to the machine, pulling down the fabric to close the trap while Étienne stood inside observing them in curiosity.

"It 11:50PM here in Vegas," He looked at his watch "That's 8:50Am in Paris. Your bank opens in less than 10 minutes." Merrit mentioned before taking a few steps back.

"One."

"Two."

"Three."

Wren pressed the button and in a swift motion the machine pressed together and gave the illusion that they just crushed the man and Etienne was gone from view. The horsemen played along with the crowd as the gasped in surprise.

"What the fuck." Merrit exclaimed with wide eyes, frantically turning around. "it wasn't supposed to happen like that, was it?"

Playing up the part, Wren frantically pushed the button. "Oh damn."

"Étienne?" Henley called out, fake worry laced in her voice.

"I liked that little French guy. Where did he go?" Merrit wondered looking at the crowd.

"I liked his accent." Wren pouted sadly as she faced the machine Étienne was previously standing on.

"Wait! There he is!" Daniel was pointing at the screen suddenly as a blurred image appeared of the man in question and the audience started to cheer for him. Danny quieted them down rather quickly, placing a finger on his lips so that he could properly talk with the man.

"This is Daniel Atlas. Can you hear me? Etienne are you okay?" Daniel asked faking concern.

"Yes."

"Perfect. What do you see in there?"

"Money. Is this real?" Etienne asked as they all saw him holding some money on the screen, his eyes wide in disbelief, like he thought that he was dreaming.

"Yes, about 3 million Euros' or so." Daniel answered with a nod.

"Okay, now here's what we're going to need you to do. I want you to take the card that you signed out of your pocket. And I want you to take the ticket stub from tonight's show and I want you to put it in the middle of the Money." Etienne placed the card and the stub together.

"Now drop it." Etienne dropped it right in the middle of the money.

"Now on the side of your helmet you should feel a button. Don't press it just yet. Now, that button activates an air duct that connects Paris to Las Vegas. Okay, good. Now you can press it." Daniel told him, a grin forming on his face as he made eye contact with Wren.

"It can get a little windy now so hold on tight." Wren joked as she clapped her hands together

"Wait you hear that?"

"Huh?"

The five magicians could hear the rumble from the air vents as their plan was set into motion. The audience started to look at the ceiling, wondering if the trick was actually going to be pulled off.

The audience started to cheer and shout in happiness as soon as the first bills dropped from the air and twirled around the room

"Thank you Etienne. Thank you, Everyone!"

"We are the five Horsemen." Wren shouted in excitement with the others a large smile etched on her face as she looked at the money falling from the sky.

"And goodnight." Henley raised her arm into the air, waving at the audience.

"Goodnight."

The five horsemen grabbed each other's hand, bowing a few times before they left the stage in a hurry, adrenaline rushing through the brunette's veins knowing what they just pulled off.

The first part was completed, only two more to go. Wren was excited to see what happened after tonight, they were going to be big. They would be famous after what they pulled of tonight. She was sure Arthur Tressler thought he was going to make millions with his newest act, if he only knew. The horsemen looked at each other, trying to contain their smirks.

Oh if they only knew what was going to happen in New Orleans.
