Chapter 14, Clean Up Duty.

Nico Di'angelo

Hot liquid spilled all over Nico's body, from the shower head, drenching him to his core. He stood there his eyes closed as he just soaked in the water. Steam rose from his body as he stood still his mind going over everything he had done as if he was watching it from a screen.

Nico sighed and grabbed the bottle of shampoo before putting a bit of the white gooey soap before lathering his raven colored hair with it. 

He couldn't believe it.
He couldn't believe what he had done.
He couldn't believe that she let him do it.

Nico scrubbed at his head harder making more suds. He was never going to be innocent again. And by what Reyna had told him neither was she. Nico almost felt bad. He felt like he didn't deserve to be her first. To be anybody's first.. 

Nico looked down at his feet and his mind switched to how beautiful she was under him. The way her body moved, the noises she made. Nico felt shivers going down his spine making him blush.

He stood still letting his hands fall to his sides letting the water rinse out the soap in his hair. Nico groaned and put his face in his hands. He didn't even leave her a note when he left that morning.

Nico shook his head and grabbed the conditioner before rubbing it through his wet hair.He couldn't feel guilty about that, it's just a measly note for goodness sakes. If she's upset that I went to take a shower then I'll apologize later it isn't that big of a deal. Nico thought to himself.

After Nico's shower, he walked into the sleeping place in the Hades cabin to see Hazel laying on her bed just staring up at the ceiling. "Goodmorning Hazel." Nico greeted and Hazel looked over at him. "Goodmorning..." she rolled over on her stomach and Nico could tell that she was watching him. Even though they were half-siblings it was still embarrassing to change in front of her.

No, he wasn't naked, he was just in his underwear. Dang, ya'll are perverts.

"Hey, where were you last night?" Hazel asked and Nico froze as he was pulling his pants out of his dresser.

Nico's face instantly turned pink his head going straight to where he was last night. And who he was with. "Uhh-Uhm.. I slept in Percy's cabin..." Nico lied before hearing Hazel stand up. "Why would you sleep in his cabin?" She asked and Nico wanted to slap himself. Why would I sleep in Percy's cabin??

"I just wanted to be alone last night that's all," Nico said and Hazel nodded as Nico turned around to face her. "Well, did you sleep well last night?" She asked and Nico nodded. "Like a baby." He said unintentionally kind of wistfully.

Hazel smiled and grabbed her day clothes before walking into the bathroom to change. Nico sighed and quickly threw all of his clothes on before combing his hair. "You ready for breakfast?" Nico asked and Hazel nodded her hair in very cute pigtails.

Nico opened the door for her and she stepped out Nico following her to get breakfast.

On their way there Nico saw Reyna stepping out of her tent, she was wearing overalls that were ripped up shorts, a maroon t-shirt that was form fitting and her army boots her flowing freely from its usual braid. Nico blushed instantly and quickly looked away before flicking his wrist to get him to think of something else.

For camp activities that day they were going to take down all of the decorations for the wedding the day before and help the Roman campers start to gather their belongings for when they left a few days later. Clean up duty you could say.

"Nico!" Piper called and Nico quickly looked over to see her beckoning him over to her. He made his way over to her side "What?" He asked once he was in the group circle.

"Make yourself useful and help the pretty lady lift things will you?" Piper pointed to Reyna who was lifting heavy objects and moving them. But the fact that Piper wanted Nico to help Reyna made him nervous.He didn't know if he could confront her. He was so nervous.

"Nico," Piper commanded and Nico instantly started making his way towards Reyna. Darn her charmspeak!

"Here, let me help you with that," Nico said making Reyna turn to look at him once she saw it was him she almost dropped the heavy pot filled with soil and plants.

She blushed and looked away from him. It was like she couldn't keep his gaze anymore. "I'm fine she grunted trying to lift it up some more which only made it slip from her grasp just a bit more. Nico lurched forward and grabbed his also his hands brushing hers. "Then let's carry it together." 

Nico looked her in the eyes and she squinted her eyes at him. "Yes, let's do it together Nico," Reyna said in a sarcastic tone but her words made him blush intensely. 

Together they set the big pot on a cart to be moved to its original location that it was taken from.

Nico cleared his throat. "So, how are you, Reyna?" He asked and Reyna raised an eyebrow at him. Suddenly Nico felt awkward. "You know what, nevermind," Nico said and Reyna rolled her eyes at him.

After a few minutes, Nico saw Reyna looking at the ground a frown on her face. "Reyna are you o-" She cut him off by grabbing his wrist a determined look in her eyes. Nico instantly started blushing his mind racing to when his hands were wrapped around her wrists and pinning them on either side of her head as he-

Nico looked away blushing but Reyna leaned in close and whispered in his ear her hot breath tickling his neck. "Us Romans have to leave in a few days, so we don't have much time. Meet me in the hay shaft." She pulled away and looked Nico in the eyes sternly.

Nico gulped and nodded. Reyna looked into his eyes another moment before sighing.

She turned her back and walked off as her dark hair swayed with each step she took. Nico put his hand over his chest to feel his pounding heartbeat. What were they doing?

Nico knew exactly what they were going to be doing. And he wasn't going to refuse her.
He was going to meet her in the hay shaft just like she ordered.

honestly sometimes when I'm writing or daydreaming I can't differentiate Keith from Nico lololol
