Jimin's eyes were fierce, yet watery. He was jumping over the thug and stabbing the knife straight into his rib cage. The man choked on his scream, his eyes dilated in horror. Jimin pulled out the knife with a wild animalistic sound only to jab the knife through the man's skin all over again, the sound of tearing flesh resonating within the alley.
Blood splattered across Jimin's face as he lunged forward to grab another man as they tried to escape, grabbing him from behind and splitting in his throat with rather delicacy, crimson liquid dripping down his neck as the man hitched and yelped for air before falling limp on the dusty ground.
Jimin shrieked loudly, a monster raging within him. He had to use his energy, he had to or else he'd burst. He wanted to kill... there was this animal within him who yearned for it. Who was ripping out from his fucking skin and make him do the things he'd choose not to if he wasn't high. Drugs took him to a dark place. He was made like that.
Jimin was making wild animalistic sounds as he stabbed those bunch of thugs mercilessly, jabbing the knife until there was a pool of blood on the ground. Everyone tried to escape, shouted, begged but nothing stopped him.
Yoongi, Jin and Namjoon watched it all unfold like a broken record playing over and over again. Wanting to erase this memory that would haunt the three of them for their entire fucking life.
Jimin was damp in mud and blood, the night making it all seem brown and black. Scared for their lives, they didn't intervene in what Jimin was doing. How could they stop him when the next blood on Jimin's hands could be theirs?
Jin shrieked in horror when Jimin stabbed another one of them in the chest and dragged the knife all the way down to his navel, tearing his chest and abdomen completely in two. Blood gushed from the man's mouth and every part of his body as he fell to the ground like the rest of them.
Jimin screamed again, a loud throaty shriek as he gripped his hair in rage. He dropped to his knees like a mad man, stabbing one of them already dead bodies over and over and over again while screaming as if that would help in letting out the energy he couldn't fucking contain.
This was the true Jimin. This is how Jimin killed. Dirty, messy.
A tear fell down Yoongi's eye, his mouth hung open and hands clutched tightly as he watched it all. For a moment he couldn't believe it was Jimin. His little mob.
"Jimin..." Yoongi called, voice shaking, wavering, showing each sign of weaknesses. He dared to step towards the monster disguised as an angel.
Because devil or angel, Yoongi was physically aching by seeing Jimin in such a state.
What had they done to him?
Then there was this brewing guilt in the pit of his stomach, knowing he did the same to other people.
"Jimin!" He shouted, surprised when he realised how desperate and weak he sounded. He lunged forward, sitting down on the road and pulling the Jimin's back into his chest, burying his face into the crook of his neck.
"Please..." He begged.
He didn't want to look around him because the surroundings were nasty, the blood was fresh and he was overwhelmed by the metallic smell of it.
Yoongi clutched the wrist that was holding the knife so that Jimin wouldn't attack him, somehow able to secure the younger's body, tackling any attack Jimin could physically initiate.
"Jimin, he's dead..." Yoongi whispered in his ear, begging him. "Stop, please. It's Yoongi. Stop."
He tightened his grip around Jimin when the younger halted completely, his eyes widening slowly as he realised what he had just done, looking at the body in horror. As if he couldn't believe it was done by him.
Suddenly, his entire body was shaking, his pants wavering as he dropped the knife on the ground and fell back into Yoongi.
Yoongi helped Jimin stand up, then letting him go. The younger took in the surroundings. At least ten men were laying on the ground, their flesh basically chopped. He had done this...he had...
He almost lost it when he saw Jin standing a few steps away, the bartender's eyes bulged out of its sockets, and a pure look of horror across his face.
Jimin shot back to confirm it was Yoongi who was holding him till now.
What had they seen of me? I'm despicable...
Fresh, thick tears welled up in Jimin's eyes, his lower lip trembling and his body shaking. He stumbled back, his gaze locking with Jin's.
He's...he's scared of me...
Jimin shook his head, tears slipping down his blood-smeared cheeks.
"I d-didn't want for you to hate me..." He whispered, his voice cracking because of how he was yelling like an animal minutes ago. He frantically looked between Yoongi and Jin, his heart dropping to his stomach. "None of you."
With that, he broke into a complete crying mess. He ran away from the alley, scared of himself, wanting to crawl out his body. He didn't know what was happening to him, he had never felt so much as a fucking wince when he had killed people before, and right now he couldn't stop the flow of thick tears streaming out like a river from a broken dam.
He felt scared. Scared to lose people with who he had grown to connect. He lost Jin. He lost him.
He ran and ran until he was in a whole another alley, not knowing where he was leading to, wails of pain slipping out of him.
"Jimin, wait!"
His entire body froze when he heard that voice from behind, immediately stopping his steps. He didn't look back, tightly clutching his hands at his sides and his head low, hiccuping and sobbing. He could hear the footsteps nearing him and he couldn't find himself moving.
"Jimin, please don't run away." Yoongi's voice was now right behind him, and it made him break into more tears by how small it was. "Please,"
A hand rested on his shoulder and turned him around, making him directly face the man he was so crazy about. It hurt.
A sharp pang stabbed at Yoongi's chest as he took in the sight in front of him. Jimin was crying so hard. His heart broke into a million pieces when the broken boy raised his small hands to show them to Yoongi.
The elder inhaled sharply as he saw those little soft hands damp in blood.
"The blood..." Jimin whispered. "It won't go away."
Jimin gave out, both emotionally and physically. Falling into Yoongi's as hot tears fell down his cheeks.
It won't go away. It was a saying in the mafia world, an infamous one. That the blood of the once you killed never ever leaves your hands. Seeing Jimin regretting it so much broke him.
Yoongi couldn't believe himself. How much could be love this boy to not hate him after what he had seen of him? How could he hug him for the first time when he had seen Jimin lay a bloodbath in front of him.
"Don't cry, please..." He begged softly, pressing Jimin's face into his chest and securing his hands completely around him. "Little mob..."
I think you might be my entire fucking world.
Jimin's stuttered and short breaths made Yoongi know he was having a panic attack.
"Breath with me," he whispered to Jimin who broke into a few sobs once again.
Yoongi closed his eyes, tightening his grip around Jimin. He never knew that the first hug they would share would be in such a hideous situation. But he couldn't care less.
There was a car nearing towards them and Yoongi squinted his eyes because of the headlights directed straight at him. The car halted right beside him and that's when he realised it was a police car.
Three policemen came out of the car, guns pointed towards Yoongi as they analyzed both Yoongi and Jimin's state. Considering the mass-murdering in the alley beside this one, the policemen concluded they were a part of it.
Yoongi peered his feline gaze through all of them, pressing Jimin further into him and hiding his face when he tried to break apart from all the disturbance.
"Stay still." He whispered to Jimin and he was thankful Jimin obliged.
"Do not question." Yoongi declared to all the policemen. "Stay the fuck out of it, look away by code 3C5."
Code 3C5 was the code established between their estate and the police of Seoul to look in the other direction of any crimes that took place.
"M-Mr Min." One of the officers stuttered in realisation. Yoongi pressed Jimin further to himself and said, "give me your car."
"Y-Yes, sir." One of them handed Yoongi the car keys.
"Leave," Yoongi ordered and didn't separate from Jimin until they were completely out of sight, drawing apart cupping his face with his hands.
"Let's go." He hushed, brushing back Jimin's damp hair from his forehead.
The ride was achingly silent. Both of them couldn't help but go back to the scenarios that had taken place tonight. There was this part of Yoongi, who already knew this was going to happen, call it a gut feeling.
By the time they reached Jimin's apartment, the drug was wearing off, leaving Jimin numb, worn out and sleepy. He was dozing off but Yoongi kept on poking him so he wouldn't sleep.
Yoongi dragged Jimin up from the elevator, into Jimin's apartment and straight into the bathroom. Jimin's eyes were closing and it all made sense but Yoongi pushed Jimin into the shower cabinet and turned the cold water on to wake Jimin up from his drowsy state.
"Just let me bathe you, then you can sleep all you want." He muttered as Jimin gasped from the sudden coldness pouring on his body, immediately stepping aside but Yoongi forced him to stand under it.
"C-cold, cold." Jimin gasped, so he turned the knob to the other side, fixing the water temperature into a moderate one.
Jimin was covered in blood, sweat, mud and whatnot. He watched as everything poured down Jimin's body and drained down. He sighed, removing his dirty clothes as well and stepping in the shower. He slightly gasped when the water hit his head, pushing his hair back before pulling Jimin closer.
Jimin's clothes were sticking to his body, so Yoongi tugged them off as well. Taking the soap and scrubbing the younger's body with it, removing all the drying blood, taking Jimin's hands and washing them too, mumbling "see, the blood's going away."
He washed Jimin's blonde hair thoroughly, hating the silence, it wasn't comfortable at all. There was this heaviness in his stomach, and he couldn't even imagine what Jimin was feeling right now.
Jimin was looking down the whole time Yoongi bathed him, the shower above his head being a good excuse to do so. He didn't want to speak, didn't want to remember what he had done because this time it felt different, even if he had done it a thousand times before.
His whole body was positively exhausted by the time the shower above his head stopped running and Yoongi wrapped him in a clean towel. He dried him up and changed his clothes. He could break into crying any minute but he restrained himself to.
He didn't remember sleeping that night, just Yoongi's hushed words which carried this certain heaviness. As if Yoongi didn't believe it when he said 'it was okay'.
He woke up the next morning with zero energy to even move. He opened his eyes, a bitter taste in his mouth and his stomach rumbling with hunger.
He sat up with all the energy he was left with after last night. The sunlight was peeking from the closed curtains of the window and he predicted it was noon.
He made his way towards the kitchen to have something that would satisfy his appetite. There he halted because Yoongi was standing at the kitchen counter, fumbling with some vegetables.
The memories of last night came rushing back as he saw the elder. His heart dropped in his stomach. He made his way towards the lad, inhaling shaky breaths to gather himself up.
He just wanted to make sure he didn't lose Yoongi as well. What Jimin had done was despicable but then again, he was out of his rational mind.
Jimin bit his lip and rested his head on Yoongi's shoulder, a surge of warmth brewing in his stomach. But it did nothing to suffice the pit that was already there.
Yoongi stopped doing whatever he was doing as he felt a soft hand grabbing his own, a head resting on his shoulder from behind. Yoongi's stomach lurched with something, his heart pacing up.
Oh, this boy.
"You're awake?" Yoongi asked.
Jimin just nodded. There was another long silence where both of them just stayed still against each other, Jimin's hand slowly tightening around the elder's.
"Will you hate me if I tell you something?" The younger broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper, his head still resting on Yoongi's shoulder from behind.
There was a dry laugh from Yoongi in return, humourless and sad. He heard Yoongi mutter "I don't think I'd ever be able to if I couldn't hate you after last night."
"I'm scared," Jimin admitted, squinting his eyes and anticipating Yoongi pushing him away. When Yoongi didn't, he sighed and continued. "And I want my Jin back."
|
"Just one last bite," Yoongi assured when Jimin refused to have another bite of the cup noodles. He grumpily opened his mouth as Yoongi stuffed the younger's mouth with noodles, keeping the chopsticks and the box aside.
"You really should keep food apart from cup noodles, you know," Yoongi muttered, not anticipating an answer which he didn't get after all.
Jimin gulped down the bite and drank some water before lying down, his head resting on Yoongi's lap, facing the elder's stomach. Yoongi stroked Jimin's hair tenderly and something about that action made Jimin overwhelmed, his pouty lips furrowing down.
"I really want my Jin back." He whispered, voice cracking. "He was my first ever friend, he once saved me from being raped-"
Jimin gulped down the sob threatening to erupt from his throat.
"It wasn't your fault, little mob."
"Of course it was. I did it. I killed them all. I'm despicable-"
"You were not yourself," Yoongi argued. If he didn't know any better, he'd think it was Jimin's fault as well. But he had drugged people and sent them off to kill too. He had taken drugs and killed people too. "I'm not a saint, Jimin. I know how it works."
"Are you a bad person too, Yoongi?"
Yoongi laughed dryly. "A really bad one, little mob. And unlike you, I chose to be bad. But these days... I've grown rather soft."
"How?"
"I met someone who makes me soft."
"Oh..." Jimin whispered. "I met someone like that too."
"Who's it?"
"You."
