36 ~ Last Day
[A/n: Unedited]
I settled at the bay window with my journal in my arms. This was my favorite place at Amber resorts, because it overlooked the grass fields surrounding the house.
I opened the old journal that I was given by my father. On the first page was his familiar scrawl where he wrote about why he was giving me this.
Hi son. I know that I'm not around that much anymore, so I'm giving you this journal where you should write your thoughts no matter how unnecessary it may seem. When I was young I had one just like this and it helped through difficult times because some burden was lifted off my chest. Don't miss me too much son.
I dragged my fingers across the printed words and smiled to myself because these words were my comfort whenever I was happy or sad. I flipped through the book seeing a younger version of myself lying on my bed writing innocent things about school, then later seeing a conflicted teenager who was confused about his sexuality, and finally an abused teenager who was angry but powerless. Although the past still comes back to me sometimes, Jungkook pulls me back to the present.
I flip to a new page and begin writing all of what I experienced throughout these two weeks. The photos of the places we visited were all spread before me so I could choose the most beautiful ones.
This new adventure was organised by my sweetheart. I love him so much <3. Anyways, the first place we visited was a wetland (1100 Altitude Wetland). It was the first time I saw a place so lively and green! Jiyeon sadly lost her sandal in a battle with the wetland, and we couldn't help but laugh at her. As our punishment we had to carry her all over the place, so my arms were dead by the time we finished exploring.
The next place we visited that day was the Halla Mountain. It was truly a wonder. Jiyeon did get a bit tired after two hours so we had to stop constantly but she enjoyed the nature. We climbed the mountain and took many photos. I loved taking photos of the flowers there and I have many, but the one I liked the best is the following photo.
The day after that we visited the Songaksan and Sanbangsan Mountain. The view was impeccable and I still remember the place Jungkook and I engraved our names into. The kiss we shared at that spot brought us even closer than we were, and I will never forget the feeling of Kookie's soft lips on mine.
The next few days were pretty disappointing because it was raining cats and dogs outside, but Jungkook made sure that I was occupied at all times when Jiyeon left to play with her new friends at their house. My ass hurts just thinking about what we did. Taehyung if you ever decide to leave Jungkook for any reason whatsoever, don't go far and make sure to come back eventually. You'll live a horrible life without him and Jiyeon. 100% guaranteed.
A week passed before I knew it. This week we did a lot more exploring to make up for last week. We strolled through Hallim Park, walked through Manjanggul Cave, relaxed for a few hours at Hamdeok beach, traveled through Haenyeo Museum, and found each other at Maze Land. I'm excited to see where Jungkook will take me today, because today is the last day here at Amber resorts. I'm happy to be able to return back home, but I'll miss the ability to always see Jungkook and Jiyeon in the same house as mine. I mean it's nice that I'm allowed there whenever I please, but living in the same house is a whole different thing!
"Taehyung?!" Jungkook called out.
"Yep. I'll be a minute Kook," I yelled back.
Well seems like I'll have to go now. Write to you later.
~ Taehyung <3.
"What were you doing there?" Jungkook asked me sliding on a shirt.
"Nothing really. Just resting a bit at the bay window," I smiled.
"You ready to go out?" Jungkookie asked.
"Dress me?" I asked smiling suggestively at my boyfriend.
"More like strip and then dress you," Jungkook smirked at me.
Jungkook slid the shirt over my head and dragged his slender fingers down my shoulders and chest.
"You're so beautiful Taehyung. Never forget that your precious," Jungkook whispered before kissing me.
"You mean so much to me Jungkook. Never forget who you belong to," I said.
"I love you Tae," Jungkook whispered.
"I love you just as much Kookie," I whispered back.
"Appa and eomma?! What are you guys doing? Let's go already!" Jiyeon yelled from downstairs.
"Coming!" we yelled back.
After a long car drive we arrived at some park.
"Oh. Is this Jeju Stone Park?" I asked Jungkook.
"Yep," Jungkook said slipping his hand around my waist.
We walked through the entire place and entered a museum filled with all types of rocks.
"Wow," I said in awe.
"There are so many, but they are all different!" Jiyeon said.
Every room was filled with different types of rocks but there was one room in particular that caught my eye. It was seemingly filled with red roses, but every time we passed it Jungkook dragged me away to see something else.
"Can we go to that room now?" I asked.
"What's the time?" Kook asked.
"Why is the time important now?" I asked.
Kookie didn't answer my question but pulled out his phone to check the time. Once he put the phone back he dragged Jiyeon and I to the room we were avoiding. I gasped in surprise. The room was covered with red roses and the lights from the windows created an exotic feeling.
"Taehyung I brought you here on this trip for one reason only," Jungkook began to say.
He got down on one knee and I knew what he was about to do.
"You've been my everything the moment I've seen you again after years. I don't want you to leave anymore, and that's why I'm choosing this day to tie you to me eternally. Will you marry me Taehyung?" Jungkook said producing a beautiful ring out of his pocket.
"Oh my fucking god! Is that even a question?" I yelled.
He put the ring on my finger and kissed me. Before I knew it we were surrounded by claps and hoots.
"Love you forever baby," Jungkook said.
