Lui's pov

I looked around opened mouthed as David led me into a huge building. "So what do you do here?" I asked spinning around as we waited for the elevator. "I actually own this company." David said as we stepped into the elevator.

My mouth dropped open and he nervously adjusted his suit. "Why did I come with you? I mean I don't see how I fit in?" I asked puzzled. "My company is hosting the annual Fall Ball and I have you as my add on. We're here to get you a suit."

I nodded my head as we stepped out of the elevator. I followed Nogla as he maneuvered through the crowded halls and located a big door with a woman behind a desk. "Hello sir. It's nice to see you. Your tailor should be here in a few minutes. Do you want me to send him in when he arrives?" The woman asked.

"Yes Mackenzie. Thank you. This is my guest I will be bring to the ball. Lui this is my secretary Mackenzie. Mackenzie this is my acquaintance Lui." David introduced us. Mackenzie shook my hand as we studied each other.

She had hip length dark brown hair that was in a braid, her dark blue eyes shun and she seemed to be filled with positive energy. "Nice to meet you! Anything or anyone that can bring David into work is a friend of mine." She joked with a wide smile. I smiled back and Nogla excused us to his office.

"So you don't come here often I'm guessing?" I said trying to lighten the mood. David walked over to the huge floor to ceiling windows and sighed as he looked out them. "I hate this place. It was originally my fathers who then gave it to my uncle when he passed away. My uncle died in a car crash and gave the company to me." David said.

I stayed silent, waiting to see if he would continue. After a moment he did. "I was horrified to learn that my father had built this company on drugs and illegal deeds. For the first year of me owning this company I did everything I could to make it a actual business and not some drug hole. Now I hate coming here because it reminds me of how both my dad and uncle made it."

His shoulders sagged and I walked over and patted his back. "Hey it's alright. You made this place better and I'm sure your dad and uncle would be proud of you for fixing their mistakes." I said encouragingly. He gave me a weak smile and we looked out the window together until his tailor arrived.

Time skip

"Alright. The ball is in three weeks and your suit should be ready in two weeks. We'll go over the appropriate behavior in the three weeks and also get you accessories such as shoes, a watch, and etcetera. We'll also work on getting your memory back." David said as we left his company.

"Aye aye sir." I said playfully and saluted him. He chuckled at me and we started towards the corner. "Hey do you have any other way of getting to your base besides the corners?" I asked curiously. "There's the main entrance. It's in the park in the middle of the town. I'll show it to you. That's another thing. We have to get you familiar with my base in case of emergencies." David said nodding to himself.

I smiled at him as we walked underground. "Well I'm beat." I said with a sigh. "Me to. I can hear my pillow calling my name." David said with a smile. "Just try to keep from latching onto me tonight. Your a fierce cuddlier." I teased and his face flushed red.

"It was a accident I swear!"
