"Stop it."
"Stop what?"
"Sending me perverted images of your mouth around my shaft!"
"Stop nagging Severus, I know you like it."
"I'm teaching witch!" he snapped back before focusing on the students in his classroom, "Ms Jude please avoid creating another nuclear bomb, the whole wizarding community would much appreciate evading another war in the near future," he said noticing the odd smell coming from her cauldron.
Tearing Hermione off her note-taking, Filch entered the room followed by a red-headed wizard. Ron.
"Excuse me, Severus," said the squib, his macabre voice attracting everyone's attention, "Mr Weasley here will like to talk to Ms Granger."
Hermione didn't need to read her lover's mind to know he was mentally cursing at the young wizard standing under the archway leading to his chambers. Staying silent, unable to move a limb, the witch seemed to wait for Severus' authorisation.
"What is he doing here?" She mused, her mind invaded by a multitude of questions towards her ex-lover. They hadn't owled or talked to each other since she had joined Hogwarts. She had heard a few rumours about his on and off relationships with various Quidditch players from the Holyhead Harpies but never tried to get in touch with him, after all, he had been nothing but despicable towards her.
"I believe Mr Weasley could wait for my class to end before disturbing it for futile consultation with Ms Granger" snapped Severus, his eyes sending murderous daggers towards the man who had obviously come to reconquer his past-love. "Besides coming unannounced is mannerless and shortsighted from you Mr Weasley, but who am I to fool, you're after all the same dunderhead you've always been. Now if you please furlough my classroom, I have students to teach." With these words he dropped his insistent gaze on the squib who nodded before pushing bluntly Ron onto the corridors, making Severus smirk in content.
"Remind me to wrap a bottle of my finest firewisky for Argus," he told Hermione, relaxing his hand, his knuckles having contracted, his rage not going unnoticed by the students. "Maybe I'll even consider brewing him some potion to facilitate erections, having asked me various times before the war."
"Severus I didn't want to know about this!" Gagged Hermione, her hand brought to her mouth, her breakfast reaching her throat. "I'm going to get sick love" she went on, her face turning paler, agitating the potion master.
Crouching before his witch, he acciode a bottle of anti-heaves, hoping it would help Hermione's discomfort. "Drink this Hermione," he said out loud, knowing the students were looking at them dumbfounded. "How are you feeling? Forgive me I didn't think it would..." He was caught off guard by Hermione standing up and running out of the room. "Class dismissed" he indicated before waving his wand for all of the cauldrons to self-cleanse before going after his woman, worried.
Entering his chambers, he was met with Hermione laying on the floor, clutching her stomach, tears rushing down her face as she cried in agony.
"Hermione!" He yelled kneeling before her and lifting her up, "I'm bringing you to Poppy love, how is your nausea? Are you well enough to floo to the hospital wing?"
Nodding back at him, her screams making him rush to his fireplace.
"Poppy!" He called, placing Hermione onto the bed, "She felt like vomiting and the next thing I know she's spread on the floor screeching" he told foreseeing what the matron would ask.
After taking her temperature and performing some spells on the young witch, a smile spread across Ms Pomfrey's face as she winked exaggeratedly to the potion master. Furrowing his eyebrows, he invaded her mind, a bad reflex he had developed since Hermione's suicide attempt.
Gasping, having seen what was the cause of Hermione's soreness, he sat on her bed and brought her now healed body into his protecting arms, surrounding the witch.
"Love, you're..." He felt unable to get the words out of his mouth, his thrill halting him from making coherent phrases. "My love" he tried again, caressing her humid cheek, having cried a few minutes ago, "you're amazing. Oh, Salazar." He cried, his body shaking in anticipation.
Watching the exchange between the two, Poppy couldn't help but summon her elf to get Minerva, wishing for her to witness the unexpected scene before her eyes. Arriving right on time, the matron pointed at the couple, before silently indicating her to stay silent.
"Severus, what is going on?" Hermione asked, confusing his reaction to distress.
The man's ebony eyes were burning her amber orbs, his love irradiating through this simple gesture.
Lowering his beam to her belly, he placed one hand on it, smiling like a child on Christmas morning, before lowering his head and kissing her tummy.
"Hey you" he cooed, warming the area with his loving caress, "you scared your daddy there for a minute. Try not to hurt mummy in the future alright my love?" He spoke to the foetus, knowing that he could listen, although he couldn't answer.
Catching her breath, Hermione stood numb, her eyes flicking back in forth between Severus and his endearing actions towards her belly. "Daddy?" She thought, recalling his mild voice. "Oh, bloody hell, Merlin's sticky toes" she swore, realizing she was with a child.
"Hermione!" Severus scowled, his tone outraged, "don't swear in front of our baby! Especially at such a young age!"
Silent for a few seconds, her mind examining each word he had spoke she finally replied, "it's still a fetus Severus, a baby's memory starts developing itself only around the eight-month!"
"Love this child contains fifty percent of our intelligence, you aren't giving birth to dullard but to a Slytherin prodigy."
"Slytherin? How dare you, Severus Tobias Snape! He could be a Gryffindor! You pompous git!" She shrilled, appalled. Trying to stand up she heard Severus whisper to her belly, "my little snake."
Scuffing she pushed him away, walking towards Poppy before snapping back to face him, "you will cease corrupting our child Severus! If he or even she turns out with both our intellect, the baby could as well be a Ravenclaw!"
Scandalized, Severus brought his hand to his mouth, covering his gasp. "This is an affront, Hermione! Refrain from saying such disturbing and horrendous reasoning before our little reptile."
"This is just too much!" She yelled, bringing her hand up in consternation, "I didn't bloody shag a serpent Severus! Instead of being a romantic moment between us, you're making it all about you and your Slytherin rave!"
"You have a short memory, Ms Granger. If I remember correctly you described my endowment as a basilisk. So in other words, if you haven't understood yet, we are having a little snake. Deal with it." He winked, knowing he was triggering his witch in ways he couldn't help but yearn for.
"Enough!" Begged Minerva standing between the couple fearing some hexes would be thrown towards Severus. "Why don't you sit down Hermione you seem flushed, I'm afraid your blood pressure has risen. Now you!" She shouted, turning around to face the wizard, "you need to take that Slytherin's stick out of your ass and stop acting like a bloody peacock. Hermione is pregnant with your child, snake or cub, it doesn't matter. He's the embodiment of your love, can you focus on that instead of what house it will join?"
Frowning at him, Hermione walked towards her wizard before playfully kicking his chest, "you're a pain in the arse you know that right?"
Giggling, he cupped his lover's face and kissed her lips. "Am I really? Forgive me, love, can I make it better?" He teased, placing his delectable hands on her lower back, fighting the urge to squeeze the two globes he had grown to love dearly.
"How?" She asked in her mind, knowing she didn't want the other two witches to hear the rest of their conversation.
"Bend over and I'll show you" he responded, his tongue swiftly rolling on his lower lip, feeling enticed by the way her breath hitched.
Walking towards them Poppy handed Hermione a box of vials containing pain relief potions and other bottles for her pregnancy, "congratulation you too" the matron and headmistress chirped before giggling and nudging each other as the couple left the hospital wing.
"I told you it would work," said Minerva, joining her armchair in her office, "a little of magic dust in the air and voilà!"
"You didn't?" Questionned Poppy joining her on the opposit chair, "I didn't know you had it in you" she laughed, "the Marauders would have been proud."
Smiling, Minerva offered some tea to her old-friend, celebrating her meddling.
Interrupting their silence, a portrait spoke, "Minerva someone is hear for you. He says his name is Ronald Weasley."
Things were getting complicated.
A/N: And voilà. ♥️👶🏻
I'm really sorry it took me a full day to upload. I had a family day and I didn't find time to write not having my computer with me. But good news, I had some time though to think about my future books and come up with ideas. I can't wait to share them with you. 🙈🎀💕
I can already tell you that once this book is over I'll publish synchronously a Snamione (SS/HG) and Lumione (LM/HG) fanfiction. It will definitely be a challenge as I generally publish three chapters a day, but I'm ready to take it on. 🙏🏼👑
Don't forget to vote and comment,
XOXO
