(Edit:) okay so if you've already read these first few paragraphs just know that I unpublished and now I'm republishing because it messed up while publishing and was only showing the first three chapters. Idk if it was just me who saw this or if everyone else did as well but I asked and know one said anything so I'm just gonna republish.

Now that I can't see natsu during school I was basically back at square one. Nobody to hang with, nothing to do. But its good though. This way I won't become to Dependant and then practically die inside if we break up.

So with nothing to do but some class work I just get started on my school work. I like it better this way. I don't have to wake up early and then on top of that I don't have to eat disgusting school food. But sadly, I'm a terrible cook so it wouldn't matter anyway.

It was mostly just like any other day I suppose. Some geometry and English, ect. After I've almost finished I decide that I could very well take a break and take a walk. I decided not to take Pluto as he was sleeping, grabbed a light jacket and headed out the door.

Before I even realize where I'm going, I end up at the book store. So much for getting excersize . . . oh well I think as I sit down and read. Might as well make the most of it.

When my phone rings, signaling that someone's calling I almost piss myself. I'm in a quiet library and all of a sudden BOOM so loud ass music, hope anyone who heard enjoyed.

I answer without really looking at the caller Id. "Hello?"

"Lucy? Where are you?" Natsus voice answers back. But what does he mean where am I? Is he even out of school?

"At the library, how did you know I wasn't home?" I hear him lightly chuckle over the phone. "Have you looked at the time, school ended about 20 minutes ago, im in your house."

Well that would explain a few things. "Oh, sorry. I'll be there soon, make your self comfy I guess." I hang up without giving him a chance to speak. I should probably hurry. I grab the books I took from the shelf's and quickly return them then head out the door.

Im almost home now when I hear a loud honk from behind. I glance back just in time to see a car barely 5 feet from me before I black out on impact.

Natsus pov-

Since Lucy hung up its been about half an hour. Hong long can it possibly take to come back home? As I start to head out and look for her thought my phone starts ringing with an unknown number.

"Uh . . hello?" The voice on the other line quickly responded with, "yes hi. Would you happen to know a Lucy heartfillia?" My heart drops. Why couldn't Lucy call me herself if something was wrong??

"Yes, I'm her boyfriend is something wrong? Who is this?" The line goes quiet for a second. "Sir your girlfriend was hit by a drunk driver and is on her way to the hospital. She's lost a lot of blood, you were the first person on her contacts so we contacted you first." But I was barely listing at this point, already half way down the street. "What hospital!?" I frantically ask the man. "Magnolia hospital, its the biggest one in town." It was the biggest one. Also the closest. "Thank you for informing me I'm on my way." The line hung up at that point, and I could'nt care less. My Luce. My wonderful, kind, beautiful luces life is on the line and I'm running down the street like a mad man not able to help her.

As soon as I reach the hospital they inform me that she is in surgery and slowly becoming stable but they aren't 100% sure. While waiting I call levy, erza, juvia and pretty much anyone I could think of. Once we're all together and I tell them all I know it becomes dead silent minus the tears and sniffles from levy and julia.

If I had just said 'stay there. I'll come to you' she wouldn't be in this mess. She would be in my arms and I wouldn't be sitting here, waiting for them to say she's okay.

After almost three hours of waiting, a doctor comes out. "You are all here for Lucy heartfillia correct?" We nod and stand up. "Well she must be a very lucky girl to have all these people worried for her." He smiles lightly as he looks at all of us then back to his clip board.

"Well I'm glad to inform you that the surgery went well and she is awake. We are trying to get some food and fluids in her system and it seems to be working well. She is expected to make a full recovery." He smiles brightly and we all exhale at the good news. "C-can we see her?" Levy asked wipeing away some stray tears. "Well unfortunately, she is still shaken up and can only see one person at a time. I can ask her who she would like to see or you can decided amongst yourselves." We all galnce at each other than tell him to ask her himself. He nods and returns to the room.

When he returns we are all in much better moods than we were. She was alive and getting well. Which was all we could ask for. "Hello again. Mrs.heartfillia has asked for natsu?" He glanced around to see where I was and I raised my hand so he would see. He nods and smiles a bit. "Come this way please."

Soon we enter lucys room. She's sitting up with a bunch of pillows proped against her back and she sipping at some soup on a tray along with some water. As she hears us enter she glances up and once she sees me her eyes fill with tears. "I'll leave you two alone for a few minutes." I nod at him and rush to her side. "How are you feeling? Does anything hurt? Do you remember what happened?" I ask in a rush of words and she just simply smiles and hugs me as tightly as she can. "I'm fine natsu. I have three broken ribs, my leg is broken and I have a lot of scratches and brusises. But your here and I now feel much better." She beams at me and holds me my hand as tightly as she can manage. "I'm so glad your alright I thought I was going to loose you. We may have not been dateing for very long, but I don't think I want to live in a world where you dont exsist." She starts crying all over again. "That was beautiful natsu I love you too -" but before she can continue I lean in a kiss her.

Lucy's pov-

I may have broken ribs and a leg and various scratches and brusises but all that pain goes away completely away when he kisses me. Its like the whole world stops and I can't focus on anything but him. I break away though to countine our conversation. "Your lucky I love you so much or I wouldve been mad that you just cut me off." He laughs and does his crooked grin that I love so very much. "I'm sorry I couldn't help it. But on a serious note do you know what happened?"

"Well. . . I heard a honk and I turned around to a black car about 5 feet away and then I blacked out on impact but the windows were so tinted I couldn't see anyone." He nods thoughtfully then kisses my check. "We shouldn't worry about it now. Let's just focus on getting out of here." I smile at him. I really do have the best boyfriend.

OMFG IM SO SORRY ITS BEEN ALMOST FIVE MONTHS AND I FEEL AWFUL BECAUSE I ALWAYS COMPLAIN THAT WRIGHTERS NEVER UPDATE THEN HERE I GO DOING THE SAME THING. PLEASE FORGIVE ME I REALLY HAVE NO EXCUSE.

Other than having wrighters block TO THE MAX. I have had two surgeries in this span of time and finals so I've been a little busy but still not enough to not update, that was just me being lazy and having writers block.

So again, please forgive me and I hope you enjoyed. Also, I really don't know what I want to do with this story anymore. I know for a fact that I want to do a in the future chapter where he proposes and they get married but idk if I want to do anymore normal chapters because I'm not very good at writing and I do mostly filler chapters which I don't like so I think I'm just gonna do a chapter where he propses and they get married.
