It all began that one night,

Beneath that shooting star's gleam;

A thousand thoughts in the dark forming,

Too alive to fall asleep.

Feeling a call to adventure,

So much risk, so much hope;

And the idea almost tasteable,

Easy to leap before a look...

Splattered in color, now stained,

And painting the sky;

Breeze carrying wisps of prayers,

Born of magic in eye.

Like a dance on sunshine,

Pulsing with a new beat;

Hypnotized by a voice,

A song's mesmer on repeat.

Into the shadows, the chaos,

A place once sworn away;

Soon slave to stranger,

The whisper of fame.

Blind to heart, cold of truth,

Chasing the stars;

For a wish tainted, unpure,

No longer attuned to the call.

Waves swelling, sickening,

Crying a thunderstorm;

Tears dripping, abandoned,

Like a prison, bars of guilt.

Pridefall, runaway,

Two worlds collide;

Burning hot on tail,

Secrets, one by one, come to light...

It all ended that morning, 

Eye to eye with that sunrise;

Braver, stronger, resolved,

A rawer fire itching to ignite.

Fueling from a power unrivaled,   

No endgame, no limits; 

Facing down the force of the world,

Today, the story's just beginning...

Young.

Ready.

Bold.

Breathing.

Fearless...

Undefeated.
