It's a knife in the chest,

Still can't repent,

Unless there's fault in transparency;

At morning, at night,

It's the same fruitless fight,

Can't break a wall built inherently.

Proof's no good if rejected,

It's made discord never mended,

Struck a cord that's rattled the base;

Hatred swells over love,

Like the clouds storm the sun,

This star shouldn't need to be chased.

A wish for normalcy,

Utopian fantasy,

How could it have drifted so far?

Impossible to grasp,

What's occured, what's been said,

It stole a piece straight from the heart.

In the darkness so clear,

Wrapped in a blanket of fear,

The world becomes a hopeless ambition;

Just a song with no tune,

Always awaiting the moon,

For an outpouring of the vision.

To the Heavens so high,

Grant some laughter tonight,

Make a memory, make a smile;

Keep the soul off the floor,

Something never felt before,

Set it to flight for a while.

Let time reverse,

Bring back how things were,

With the light, in the eyes, in the air;

There was an energy,

A single spirit flowing,

But sometimes people don't want to share.

Not an error, a flaw,

To misread what one saw,

Unable to comprehend the truth;

So sorry, so desire,

Watch those stars with a fire,

Wishing to speak the language that's used.

It repeats every day,

Mocking the efforts to change,

Some constellations never align;

Their patterns will never know,

Only so far they can grow,

Too many mysteries for them to find.

As stone it remains,

Shoots painful waves to the brain,

A reminder of what cannot be;

With fate there's no choice,

Quick to ignore one voice,

Saying it's never what it seems.

I'm sorry it's not an inspirational poem... exactly, my flowers. I've tried to write one. I really have. But this is what comes out. This is how I'm dreaming right now, I guess :) But however it may be, the dreams are still there. They always will be <3
