*Laurance's POV*
~17 Days Later~

November 28th...

Mine and Garroth's 3 month anniversary...

"Hey, Garroth?" I turned around, looking at Garroth.

He was laying on the couch, reading something on his phone. He looked at me, for a brief moment, giving me a small nod of acknowledgement.

"Do you want to go out, and do anything? For our three month anniversary?" I asked, setting down the book I was reading.

Garroth shut off his phone, staring blankly at me. He looked as if he was pondering the question. A tiny smirk appeared on his face, and he sat up.

"Sure. What do you wanna do~?" Garroth sang, kicking his feet like a child.

"How about...I dunno. Go out to see a movie, or something? Maybe out to dinner?"

"Laurance, the last two times we tried going out to dinner- something interrupts the specialty of it. The first time, was because of awkwardness. The second, I ended up being sick. So, scratch that idea," Garroth narrowed his eyes at me. "The movie thing, I'm not sure about, either. Nothing good seems to be playing, and the nearest movie theatre is rather far. So, I don't think so."

"Okay, Mister Perfect. Where do you suggest we go then?" I glared at him.

"Oh! I have an idea!" Garroth's eyes lit up, as he slid off the couch. "How about you take me to that forest clearing? The one we went to, on our first date?"

I smiled, moving closer to my boyfriend. I pecked a kiss on his cheek, holding his hand lightly.

"Sure, that sounds great, Love. When do you want to go?"

"Hm..," Garroth pondered, biting his lip in thought. "How about we go...right now?"

My eyes widened, and I stared at him for a moment. "Like right now, right now?"

"Yeah! Come on! Take me away!" Garroth jumped up, letting go of my hand.

He skipped over to the door, patiently standing there. I stood up, following after him. I was a bit confused about his sudden... bubbliness. Nonetheless, I lead my winsome boyfriend out to the car.

*Garroth's POV*

We arrived at the clearing, and I ran ahead of Laurance. I made it to the pond, sitting down beside it. I was giddy, and full of excitement. I loved going to this part of this forest. It brings back fond memories.

"Garroth! Wait up!" Laurance called to me.

"Ha! Looks like I've gotten faster over the years!" I yelled back, as Laurance caught up.

He walked over, laughing a little. He sat beside me, staring out at the water. It was beautiful in the daylight- but, I wanted to stay here until night. Because of how gorgeous and peaceful, it gets at nighttime.

"So, Love, why did you want to come here?" Laurance looked over at me.

"Because~" I giggled, turning to look at him. "This place is special to us."

Laurance chuckled, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. He pulled me close to him, and I laid my head on his shoulder. I stared out at the water, sunlight reflecting off of it.

"Love?" Laurance's voice was soft. I hummed in acknowledgement. "What are your thoughts...on getting married."

My face was getting hot, and I felt a strange feeling in my chest. I bit my lip, holding my hands together.

"M-marriage..? Like...you and me..? T-together..?"

"Duh. What do you think about it? Any thoughts?"

"U-uh..," I stammered, trying to think of an appropriate response. "I-I don't know... Kind o-of early i-in our r-relationship, d-don't you think..?"

"Maybe..," Laurance sighed. "I am just curious. I want to know when you're ready, that way...we can figure something out. Because, I love you."

"Laurance..."

"Yes, Beautiful?"

"Uh..," I inaudibly sighed, moving closer to him. "N-nevermind..."

"Alright, Love."

*Laurance's POV*

I wonder...how things would've turned out...if I stayed with her...

~Flashback~

"Laurance, can I speak with you for a moment?" She asked me.

"Hm? Oh, sure, Babe," I smiled, following her.

She lead me over to her locker, heaving a sigh. She looked up at me, biting her lip.

"Uhm...I don't think we can be together..," she mumbled, but I could hear her clearly.

"W-what..? Why..?" I stared at her with disbelief.

"Because...I'm just... I don't really feel a connection," she sighed, rubbing her arm. "Do you understand what I'm trying to say here..?"

"I hear you loud and clear!" I snapped, balling my fists. "Screw you!"

~Flashback Over~

Who knows how things would've been, if we never broke up. I probably would never have realized my feelings for Garroth...and where would I be now?

Without the best boyfriend in the world, that's where.

But, everything turned out for the better. The fates work in the strangest ways. But, luckily for us, it ended up amazing.

And, I am excited for the future. My next goal- marry that boy. Spend the rest of our lives together.
