*Garroth's POV*
~9 Days Later~

Only one more week, until Halloween!

You might be wondering, why I am so excited. Well, that's a surprise. You're just going to have to wait and see~. Who am I even talking to? I dunno.

"Garroth, are you up already..?" Laurance turned in the bed, patting the area next to him.

I kneeled by the bed, and Laurance's eyes fluttered open. He smiled softly, sitting up and stretching his arms. I smiled back, sitting beside him on the bed.

"I don't know whether it's a good thing, or a bad thing, that you're waking up before me," Laurance laughed lightly. "I usually was the one to wake up first. You're stealing my job from me, Love."

I rolled my eyes, laughing alongside him. I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Guess what today is~" I sang.

"Uh...a week until Halloween..?"

"No...well, yes, that too...but..," I sat up, putting my hands on his shoulders. I stared into those amazing pale blue eyes, my smile growing. "Tonight, there's a dance going on~"

"Oh? Where?" Laurance rose an eyebrow at me.

"Just a little bit down the street," I explained. "It's nothing too big. Our friends will be there."

"Like..?"

"Uh...Aphmau is the one who told me about it, so her and Aaron. I'm positive Vylad and Dante will go, so I imagine Travis as well. Maybe Katelyn, Nicole, and Kawaii~Chan, There's a slim chance, but Zane might go. And, um... maybe... Lucinda will be there," he nodded, as I listed off everyone's names. "So, you gonna take me~?"

"You really wanna go?"

"Uh, ya!" I clicked my tongue, and tried to keep myself from giggling.

Laurance rolled his eyes, running his hand through my hair. His smile grew, and he planted a small kiss on my forehead.

"Sure thing, Beautiful. I'll take you to the dance."

*Gene's POV*

"When is it?"

"It's tonight."

"Does it cost anything?"

"Nope. It's free. And, you can bring people."

"So, Zenix and Sasha can tag along?"

"Of course! The more the merrier."

"Who's going?"

"That I know of...me, Vylad, Aphmau, Aaron, Katelyn, Nicole, Kawaii~Chan, Travis, Zane, Garroth, and Laurance."

Perfect.

"Sounds great. We'll be there. See ya later, Dante," I waved to my brother, as he scurried off my porch.

I shut the door, calling for Zenix and Sasha to come into the living room. They both came in, Zenix pouting, and Sasha with her arms crossed. I rolled my eyes, gesturing them to take seats on the couch. They obliged, and I sat in the chair opposite of them.

"What do you want, Gene?" Sasha leaned back on the couch, chewing on her bubblegum.

"All of us, are going to a dance tonight," I smirked at them.

"Ewww, being social," Zenix whined, sticking his tongue out at me.

I rolled my eyes once again, crossing my arms. "Garroth is going to be there."

"So?" Sasha rose an eyebrow at me. "He's your business, not mine or Zenix's. Sure, he's cute, but it's not like I'm the one interested in him. I can't speak for Zenix, but I'm sure he feels the same."

Zenix nodded, crossing his arms as well. Welp, now we all have our arms crossed.

"But you two are my accomplices, we go down as one unit," I glared at both of them. "You don't really have a choice in the matter. If you don't come with me then, Irene so help me, you will regret your decision," I growled at them.

"Whatever," Sasha shrugged, dropping her arms. "Fine, we'll go Gene. Stop being hormonal for five seconds, though. It gets annoying."

She smirked at me, and I gritted my teeth. Zenix snickered, looking me up and down.

"Shut up, Sasha."

*Laurance's POV*

"Where are we meeting Aphmau and Aaron?" I asked Garroth, who was fixing his hair in the mirror.

"At their place, we'll be walking together," Garroth gave me a brief glance, smiling, before returning to the mirror.

"Love, you've been fixing your hair for like...thirty minutes now," I chuckled, shaking my head.

Garroth looked at me, his cyan eyes narrowed. He put his hands on his hips, rolling his eyes at me.

"Honey, you don't just get this fabulous, you have to work at it," Garroth clicked his tongue, turning his head from me.

Damn, this boy is amazing.

"Alright, alright, Love. I get it. Just don't spend too long, working at being fabulous, we still have a dance to go to."

Garroth huffed, turning back to the mirror. I rolled my eyes at my adorable boyfriend, leaning against the wall. I pulled out my phone, turning it on.

[Two Texts From: Aphmau]

Aphmau: Hey, Laurance. You and Garroth almost ready?

Aphmau: Aaron and I are waiting for you two~

You: Yeah, Aph. We'll be over, soon.

You: Garroth's busy, trying to work at being "fabulous".

Aphmau: How long has it been?

You: Half an hour.

Aphmau: 😂😂

Aphmau: Sorry to hear, sending my condolences.

You: I'm dying over here. Nothing has changed in twenty minutes. Also, the bathroom is extremely hot, and I'm in a suit. 😧

Aphmau: YOU TWO ARE IN THE BATHROOM TOGETHER?!

You: 😐

Aphmau: Sorry, sorry... 😅

Aphmau: But, still~ 😚

You: I think he might be done.

Aphmau: Really, though?

You: Yes! Praise Irene!

You: Be over in a few Aph!

Aphmau: See ya, then.

I shut off my phone, shoving it into my pocket. Garroth turned around to face me, and I smirked at him.

"Are you fabulous enough, Princess?" I teased, linking my arm with his.

"Pfft, you're just jealous, because you're not as hot as me."

"You said otherwise, not to long ago~" I teased again, booping his nose with my free hand.

"I-I have n-no idea what y-you're t-talking about..," Garroth bit his lip, looking away from me.

"Oh? Remember? When we-"

"Okay, I think we should go to Aphmau and Aaron's place. Right? Right. Let's go," Garroth released his arm from mine, scurrying out of the bathroom.

I burst out into laughter, clutching my stomach. I made my way after him, trying to control myself.

My boyfriend is such a cutie.

*Garroth's POV*

"Ahh! You two look amazing!" Aphmau squealed, clapping her hands together.

I laughed a little, looking at Aphmau. She wore a beautiful purple dress, coated in sequins, and silver bangles. Aaron stood slightly behind her, wearing a tuxedo. I smiled at the couple.

"Thanks, Aph. You look beautiful. I love your dress," I replied.

"Thanks Garroth!" Aphmau chirped. "Well, you guys ready to head over to the dance."

"Yup!" Laurance responded.

"Great, come on~"

Aphmau grabbed Aaron's hand, running ahead of us. I giggled a little, and Laurance looked at me. He bowed slightly, holding out his hand to me.

"M'lady~"

"Don't call me a lady. I will murder you, in your sleep," I threatened.

"Good sir?"

"Better," I rolled my eyes, taking Laurance's hand.

Thankfully, at this point, most people knew we were dating. We allowed Aphmau to tell Aaron, so he knows. All that's left out of our friend group, that doesn't know, is Katelyn, Nicole, Kawaii~Chan, and Lucinda. It's really not that we're afraid to tell them, it's just that we haven't had a chance.

But, what better night than tonight? We're all going to be there. It's gonna be kind of hard to hide that Laurance and I are together, when I just want to spend all night dancing with him.

"We're here~!" Aphmau sang, as we stopped in front of a large building. "Come on! Let's go!"

Aphmau pulled Aaron inside, leaving Laurance and I. He smirked at me, wrapping one of his arms around my waist.

"You ready, Beautiful~?"

"Yup! Let's go."
