After dinner, Aaron, Ree and Rohan went home, Ahaan and Arnav were busy discussing something in a corner as I sat with the rest of the family members.

"I guess I should go back home, I'll just bid Arnav goodbye and then go." I said as I stood up and walked where Arnav and Ahaan were.

I walked towards them and stopped besides Arnav, he stood up as soon as he saw me so did Ahaan.

"I'm sorry I dint mean to disturb, I just came to say goodbye, it's late I have to go home." I said.

"It's okay, I'll leave you two to it." Ahaan smiled at me as he walked away giving us some privacy. Arnav got hold of my hand immediately and looked me into the eyes.

"Can't you stay? I've missed you, there's a lot I want to talk to you about, please don't go." He pouted.

"I wish I could Arnav, but I have to go, mom must be waiting for me and it doesn't look good to stay here every now and then, your parents might not like it, I mean I know they love me and they are so open minded but at times we have to understand things right?"

"I know but it's just today, I won't ever tell you to stay back in future, I just want to be with you today, it feels like I haven't seen you for ages, please stay." He looked at me really innocently I was already melting, but I wish he understood how awkward it was going to be for me if I decided to stay here randomly.

We both kept on staring at each other silently, he wasn't leaving my hand, he wasn't letting me go, not that I wanted to but I had to.

"Khushi." I heard someone call out my name, I turned around and saw Arnav's dad standing there.

"It's pretty late dear, I think you should just stay here for the night, it won't be safe to drive at this time."

"It's okay uncle, maybe you can send someone to drop me."

"Ahaan already left, he had to go somewhere and I'm sure Arnav is really tired, I think you should just stay, I'm sure Krystle wouldn't mind sharing her room." He smiled as he turned to look at Krystle.

"Oh I'd love to share my room with her." Krystle said excitedly.

"You see, just stay back, you can call your parents if you want to, I'll talk to them."

"It's okay, I'll call mom and inform her." I smiled at him, he smiled back at me and then looked at Arnav who rushed towards him and hugged him.

"Thank you so much for doing this for me dad." He said as he held on to him tight.

Honestly at times it felt like it was some sort of a fairytale, his family was always so understanding, they never judged or anything, they were always the happy kind of people who cared about each other's happiness, it was the best thing about them.

"Can I talk to her for a while in my room? I mean before she goes to sleep with Krystle in her room, I promise I'll leave the doors open." Arnav looked at his dad as he broke the hug.

"Sure." His dad smiled at him as he walked away, while I called mum and informed her that I was going to stay at Arnav's place, at first she wanted to come pick me herself but I assured her that his family was okay with it and that I was going to sleep in his sister's room, that's when she finally agreed.

Everyone headed to their specific rooms to sleep, Arnav and I headed to his room and like he had promised his dad, he left the door open.

We both sat down on the bed and looked at each other silently for a while until he spoke.

"I am sorry for leaving so suddenly, I know I should have informed you or something, I know you must have lots of questions and today I promise I'll answer all of them." He got hold of my hand and pressed it between his.

"I just want to know what's exactly going on, why do those guys want the old mansion of yours and don't you think you'll have to ask you dad before handing it to someone just like that?"

"About dad, Ahaan said he has already talked to him, I don't know what he told him, it might be the truth also but dad agreed that's why we decided this. Anyway let me explain everything from start now.

"So the guys that kidnapped you, Ryle used to be in their gang once upon a time, so one of the guys from the gang had a secret crush on Jiya or something, I believe he even confessed his feelings to her once and that's when Jiya told them she was me.

Of course because Ryle was from the opposite gang, he hated me, I mean I wasn't even a bad boy then, my brother was and I think something had happened between their gangs that made them hate each other so much.

So Ryle dint like me being with Jiya, he had even warned her to stay away from me but Jiya dint pay heed to him, and then this guy from their gang, the one that liked Jiya, made a plan.

He wanted Jiya and Ryle wanted her to stay away from me so the only way that was possible was by killing me.

I know how ridiculous it sounds, I mean we were just high school boys, who would think of killing someone? But well some people do, so they made a plan.

I had decided to go to the old mansion and get all of Jiya's pictures I had so that I could shift them to this new mansion, I was to go alone because Jiya had something else to do and so Ryle and his gang found this to be the perfect time to get rid of me.

Ryle was to drive a car and run it through mine but what changed was, Jiya showed up suddenly and decided to accompany me, now Ryle and his gang had no idea about it so they went along with the plan.

The car that hit mine that day was Ryle's, he was the one driving it and he caused the accident, we both got really injured but I ended up surviving and Jiya passed away." Arnav said.

He looked really sad, I hated seeing him this sad but what I hated more was Ryle, he always acted so innocent in front of me I couldn't even believe that he once belonged to a bad boy gang and that he had killed his own sister, even though not knowingly.

"The reason I joined this gang was solely because I wanted to find out whoever had done this and punish them, of course at that time I dint know it was Ryle and his gang but when I learnt it, I hated him more than anything, I mean how could he do that to his own sister?

I wasn't a terrible person that to separate me from his sister the only option he had was to kill me. Since the accident, Ahaan looked for this Aaron, Ree and Rohan and he made sure they were always around me, he dint want my life being risked again.

That's why they all were angry on me that day when I came to your place all alone.

After Jiya passed away, this guy who loved her, he was so angry, he wouldn't believe how everything went against their plan and now that he had nothing left to take from me, he decided to snatch the only place that had Jiya's memories from me.

I refused to give it to him, he tried many ways possible to convince me but there was nothing worthy enough for me to let go off that until you came into my life, I knew it was either going to be you or her memories, I dint want to decide Khushi, but I had to and I made the decision.

I've got all her pictures and stuff, now they can have the mansion, although each and every corner of it still has lots of her memories I never thought I'd have to let go, I guess sometimes letting go is the best we can do."

He stood up and headed to the bathroom straight, I knew how hurt he was, he must be feeling terrible. I just sat there silently wondering how I misunderstood Ryle, I always thought he was a good person but what he did was terrible.

Arnav walked out as he wiped his face with a towel, he threw it on the bed and walked back towards me.

"Khushi believe me when I say this, I love you, I love you so much I don't ever want to lose you. I know we are just about to finish high school, we still have a lot to do like go to university to study, then build a career and all but I don't want anything to ever change what's between us.I know things will be tough, we might fight and argue over things but I want us to keep our love above every argument and fight, I want our love to win, I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

I want to study and build a career and then I want to propose you in the filmy ways you liked and I want to get married to you, I know we are too young to think about that but I hope someday we will be married and have our happily ever after." He smiled at me.

"I want that happily ever after too Arnav, and we'll both make sure it happens." I smiled at him.

"Look at the time, its twelve o'clock, I dint even realize it, and by the way, it's my birthday, your boyfriend turns nineteen today." He smirked.

"Really, how come I dint know? Happy Birthday Arnav." As I said as I grabbed him and pulled him into a tight hug.

A while later, he cupped my face and pulled me closer claiming for my lips, this time his kiss wasn't rough or deep or, it was just passionate, it was the kind of a kiss that told me in the most simplest way how much he loved me.
