Hours passed by and I kept on trying to call Arnav, I sent him hundreds of texts but to no reply, I even wondered why Ryle hadn't been back with any information about Arnav and his gang, he had promised to help me out and now he was nowhere to be seen.

I got fed up of staying in my room and continuously worrying about Arnav so I decided to head outside for a drive and freshen my mind, I thought of stopping by the Raizada mansion and asking Ahaan about Arnav once again.

I drove around the town trying to gather enough courage to talk to Ahaan, but I couldn't, I was scared, he had told me to wait and I dint want to bug him much.

I parked my car in one corner and sat there wondering what I was supposed to do next and just then I saw a white jaguar car parked a bit further from where I had parked my car.

I looked at the number plate realizing it was the same car that had followed me, it belonged to the people that had tried to kidnap me.

I unlocked my car to step out but before I could do that, I saw three guys walking towards it and to my shock, one of them was Ryle.

I could recognize one of the guys, he was the one that had kidnapped me, he unlocked the car and the three of them got inside and in no moment, the car sped off.

I was left there in shock, what was Ryle doing with the guys that had kidnapped me? Was Arnav actually right about Ryle? Had I really trusted the wrong person?

Well who knew, he might even be the reason behind Arnav's disappearance.

To say I was shattered was an understatement, I had trusted Ryle so much, he was like the closest friend I had, I even fought with Arnav for him, because I would never believe that he could do anything to hurt me, but I guess I had been wrong.

Seeing him here with this guys proved it all, Ryle was a betrayer, now I even wondered if Arnav was right, did Ryle really kill Jiya? If he could kill his own sister, who was I?

I had to do something, I couldn't just sit here and watch Ryle ruin everything for Arnav once again! I switched on my engine and drove the car, I knew where exactly I had to go.

I parked my car outside the Raizada mansion and rushed inside in a hurry, I hoped I was going to find Ahaan here, right now he was the only person I could trust.

As I walked in, I heard Ahaan's voice, it was like he was talking to someone over the phone.

"That's progress, just ask them what they want, let's get done with this for once and for all." Ahaan said, and then his eyes fell on me.

"I'll call you back." He said as he disconnected the call and walked towards me. I felt so defeated, the worry had eaten me up I looked like a mess, Ahaan rushed towards me and got hold of me by my shoulders as he looked at me worriedly.

"What happened Khushi?" He asked.

"Please tell me the truth Ahaan, is Arnav is any sort of danger?" I asked.

"No Khushi, I told you not to worry, nothing can happen to Arnav as long as I am alive." Ahaan assured me.

"Stop lying to me! Why does everyone take me as some stupid naïve girl, why do you all keep lying to me? I know Arnav is in danger, I know something has happened, I saw Ryle today with the guys who had kidnapped me, it has to mean something." I shouted at Ahaan angrily.

"Forget that, will you believe me for once when I say he's not in danger?" Ahaan said.

"No, I wouldn't! if he was okay he wouldn't ignore my calls and my texts like this." I looked at Ahaan angrily.

"He isn't ignoring your calls Khushi, he just doesn't have his phone." Ahaan said.

I looked at him in surprise, the way Ahaan spoke, it clearly meant that he knew something, he just dint want to tell me about it.

"And how do you know that?" I asked as I looked at him seriously.

He shrugged and turned around, he ran his hand through his hair nervously.

"I asked you something Ahaan!" I shouted at him angrily.

"Fine! I know where Arnav is! And I know he is safe, I just dint want to tell you about it because we couldn't trust Ryle, we thought he might ask you and you might tell him about it so we let you believe that something was wrong.

But then Ryle came to me today, he wanted to help you Khushi, he seemed genuinely worried about you so he came to ask me about Arnav but I told him nothing so he said he would do anything to help you, I guess you saw him with those guys because he had gone there for you, to find out if they were the ones that had Arnav or something.

Right now when you came, I was talking to him, he told me that they dint have Arnav with them, well I knew that all along because I am the only one that knows where Arnav is.

I just asked Ryle to talk to the guys and ask them how we can end this war between us for once and for all so that you and Arnav can live your lives without any fear."

"You mean to say Ryle had been helping me, he hasn't broken my trust?"

"Yes Khushi, although neither of us ever liked him, that guy cares about you and I have to admit that today." Ahaan said.

"Fine keeping that aside, tell me now where Arnav is, and why did he have to go so suddenly, why dint he tell me anything?"

"He's doing all this for you Khushi, because he loves you so much, he is scared, he doesn't want to lose you like he had lost Jiya.

He must have told you this guys want something from us, so they kidnapped you and they knew that they could get that from us in exchange of you."

"What do they want?"

"They want our old mansion, I think Arnav had taken you there, the place he had all his memories with Jiya."

"Yes I remember Arnav took me there, but why do they want the mansion?"

"It's a long story, you can ask Arnav about it he will tell you, anyway so we know one thing here, those guys aren't going to leave you be in peace until they get the mansion and the mansion legally belongs to me legally.

If it was just a mansion we would have given it away easily, but for Arnav it meant so much, it had all his memories but now he decided that if he wants his happily ever after with you, he had to let go off the past.

So he and the boys decided to go there and get all the things he needs, mostly Jiya's memories and figure a way on how we can hand over the mansion so that those guys leave you alone for once and for all." Ahaan explained.

"He's doing all this for me?" I looked at him in surprise.

"I guess he loves you so much, he had sworn never to hand over the mansion to them, and if now he has decided to do so, he must really love you Khushi and as for me, all I want is to see my brother happy and you are his happiness." Ahaan said.

I looked at him in awe, I knew Arnav loved me, but I never knew he loved me so much that for me he would give up the memories of his first love.

I dint even know what I did to be so special to him, I must have done something really good to have him love me so much.

I sat down wondering about all this though, the guys wanted the mansion so why did Arnav and the boys go there secretly to get Jiya's memories? They would have just done it and handed over the mansion, this seemed more than Ahaan was letting out.

All I wanted was for Arnav to come back now, I was glad that he was safe, but now it was high time that the mystery came to an end.

I was done overthinking everything about him, for once I just wanted to have a calm mind with no worries, no thoughts, I just wanted to sit with him and be in love with him.
