"Am I still allowed to sleep next to you now that I'm your boyfriend?" Arnav smirked at me."Of course, but the rules remain the same, you still don't get to touch me." I winked at him, he pouted as he settled down on the bed, we both lied down and looked at each other, neither of us could stop smiling, it was such a beautiful night.

"But I do get to touch you." I smiled as I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around him, it felt safer to sleep like this."

"I know you can't resists touching my abs." He winked at me and I just blushed as I continued staring at him.

He continued looking at me without blinking as if I was the most beautiful thing that had ever happened to him, and the way he stared was actually beautiful, I dint want for him to stop staring me at all.

"So how long are we going to be here? I mean we can't stay here forever right, we have to go back to Miami, we have school and families." Although I loved it that we were here all alone and I was getting to spend so much time with him, we still had to go back.

"Soon, I have Ahaan and the boys handling everything out there, right now it's more important to keep you safe, once everything calms down, they would inform us and we'd go back home and then I can take you home, this time to meet my family as my real girlfriend." He smirked.

"I would love that, I'll also tell mom about us... I miss her." I said as I remembered it had been a while since I saw her, plus she was just thinking that I was staying at Stella's, she dint know her daughter was out there running away from danger.

"Sleep now." Arnav said as he held me into his arms and I dint even realize when I actually fell asleep.

I stretched my arms lazily as the bright sunlight fell on me through the windows, it was surely going to be a beautiful sunny day today, I smiled as I turned to my right to look at Arnav but he wasn't there.

He woke up so early yesterday and even today, and me I wasn't really a morning person, I liked sleeping till late.

I stood up from the bed and walked towards the window and I looked outside, there was a garden out there and Arnav was actually working in the garden, planting some plants.

He was dressed in some shorts and a vest only, maybe the first time I was seeing him in normal dressing that his usual bad boy leather jacket.

He had mud all over his fee and in his hands, a bit of it on his cheeks too, damn this man looked perfect even covered in mud.

I giggled at my own thoughts as I headed out of the room and then towards the garden, he was so engrossed in doing what he was, he dint even notice me.

"Good morning." I said as I hugged him from behind.

"Good morning love." He broke the hug and turned to look at me with a huge smile on his face and we shared a tiny bit of an eye lock and then he pulled me into a hug once again"

"You must be hungry, I have some breakfast for you in the kitchen with a surprise, go get it." I winked at me, although I wasn't that hungry, I rushed inside immediately, food wasn't important, the surprise was.

I rushed towards the counter and found a few bowls placed there, I pulled of the lid covering each one of them turn by turn.

I pulled of the first one, there was food, the second one, still food and I went on and on until the eighth one and there was my surprise.

It was a small box wrapped in a golden wrapper with a ribbon that made a bow on top of it, I was curious to know what he had got for me so I quickly pulled off the ribbon and unwrapped the box.

I looked at the box in awe as I opened it and there it was, a brand new iPhone.

"Wow!" I exclaimed as I looked at the matte black phone, it was gorgeous, iPhone were always such beautiful phones, I had always wanted to own one but well ofcourse I couldn't afford one.I rushed outside where Arnav was busy waiting for me, to see my reaction specifically, as far as I remembered we had never had any discussions regarding phones, I even wondered how he knew I'd like this phone.

I rushed towards him and jumped onto him as I hugged him tight thanking him a hundred times."Thank you so much Arnav, I love it." I smiled as I broke the hug.

"I'm glad you did." He smiled back.

"But why did you gift me a phone? You could have gifted me something else, plus why such an expensive phone? I mean I know it's really nothing to you but still, it's awkward for me to accept something so expensive.

"Because last night you said you missed you mom and I realized you dint even have a phone and you couldn't even talk to her so I thought this was the best gift for you, now go call her and talk to her and tell her you are fine okay." He said.

"Okay." I nodded positively as I turned around switching the phone on and deciding that when my time comes to gift him something, I would do anything to gather enough money so I could gift him back something as expensive, I mean obviously gifts weren't about the money and everything but I just dint want to feel uncomfortable having such an expensive gift... I could be happy even if he got me a cheap phone, because owning an iPhone was anyway just a dream that wasn't going to come true anytime soon until I started working and earned enough to buy one.

"Love." He called me out, I brushed off the thoughts that were running in my mind as I turned around to look at him.

"Yes."

"You can call anyone you wish to but please don't call Ryle, you can't talk to him until we get back home." He said.

"Why, are you jealous of him or something?" I giggled.

"I'm not jealous of him, I'm just worried about you so please do as I say, don't call him, don't even make the mistake, take my words seriously okay?" He looked really serious when he said that and that had me wondering about a lot of things.

"Why shouldn't I call him? Because you don't like him? Or because you both almost killed each other a couple days back?" I started walking towards him slowly.

"That has nothing to do with why I am telling you to do this, why can't you for once just understand that whatever I do is always for your safety, it always because I am too scared to lose you."

"That's my point Arnav, I mean yes you and Ryle don't like each other and whatever the reason might be I don't care, you can still hate him but that doesn't mean that I'll stop being his friend, he's the first friend I ever made since I came here." I explained.

"Where are you taking things Khushi, I am not telling you to stop talking to him forever, I am never going to be that kind of a boyfriend and you know that, you have all the freedom you can be friends with whoever you want and talk to whoever you want, I am just asking you not to call him for the time we are here, is that so much to ask for?"

Right now he looked really angry and frustrated, like I wasn't able to understand him, maybe I wasn't but he dint even want to explain things for me to understand him.

"Fine I won't call him but you have to tell me the reason behind you not wanting me to call him." I folded my arms and stared at him seriously waiting for an explanation.

"Because he might put your life at risk, once you call him, he could track us down and it would all be a mess just do as I say."

I stared at him for a moment and then ended up laughing at him, he was joking wasn't he? He wanted to say that my best friend could put my life at risk? Seriously that was insane.

"What was so funny?" He shrugged.

"You saying that my life would be at risk if I called Ryle, Arnav haven't you seen the both of us together? We are like best friends, he would never want to harm me plus if he wanted to do that he would have done it already."

"Why can't you believe that he can harm you?" he asked angrily.

"Why do you think he would harm me Arnav, it's just not possible." I replied back angrily, he was really getting on my nerves now.

"Because a guy that can kill his own sister can do the same to you!" He shouted at me angrily leaving me in shock, for a moment I couldn't even believe that I had heard the right thing.
