I stepped out of the car nervously as Arnav smiled at me and then walked towards the boys, he talked to them for a second and then the three of them got inside the black Audi and drove off as if they had come till here to drop us, well maybe because Arnav dint drive.
"You just have to do as I say and trust me it's all going to be great." Arnav said as he got hold of my hand and pulled me along with him wondering why he had got hold of my hand, wasn't he taking this fake boyfriend act too far again? I mean his parents weren't around yet so it dint matter if he held my hand or not.
I kept on staring at him in awe wondering how a simple touch from him was managing to give me all this butterflies in my stomach, we stopped at the entrance of the mansion and I came out of the dream world I was in, I looked around where we were and all I could see was greenery.
It looked like there was a garden around the mansion, the door opened automatically and Arnav pulled me along, we passed through a hallway and entered into a magnificent living room.
The interiors were in white and grey, the perfect combination, the whole mansion looked like a dream, something I had only seen in movies, it was huge, really huge and beautiful.
There were two entrance door one of which was close and one from which we walked in, on my right there was a fire place in Grey, and in front of it there was a glass table placed in the middle and then a two sitter couch placed on both sides of the table.
There was a bit of space left in between and then another set of couch arranged, they were three sitter couch, on left and right and one on the front all in the shade of grey and white and then two small sets of white couches joined together and placed in the middle of the three.
There was a fake tree in one corner and then a view of the garden in front, it was beautiful, I couldn't stop admiring it.
"Mom, Dad! Look who's here!" Arnav shouted at the top of his voice, I looked at him nervously as he waited for his parents to come.
"I swear they're going to hate me." I said nervously, holding back his hand tighter.
"I know my parents better Love, they're going to love you." He smirked at me and then looked at both our hands held together making me blush for no reason.
There was a staircase behind me that led upstairs maybe to their respective bedrooms, I turned around when I heard a lady's voice, I saw a lady dressed in a black knee length dress walking downstairs talking to someone on the phone.
She stopped near us and gestured something to Arnav and then walked aside to finish up with the call, She had waist length hair and it was perfectly straight, she had it left open, and one side of her hair tucked behind her ear, I dint know if she was Arnav's mom or not, it was hard to decide, she looked so pretty and young.
She turned around after she was done with the call and walked back towards us with a huge smile on her face.
"Sorry son, it was a business call but tell me what has you so excited?" she asked Arnav."I'll tell you that after dad comes, where's he?" Arnav asked.
"He was in the room finishing up some work as usual, he'll be downstairs in a moment." She smiled at him and then turned around to look at me keenly, she smiled at me and I smiled back just when her eyes fell on our held hands making me so nervous once again.
A man walked downstairs and stopped next to Arnav's mom, he was dressed in a three piece suit and he had black shades on making me wonder who wears shades inside the house? He pulled them off and handed them to Arnav, I figured he was Arnav's father.
"Here are the shades you asked for, they are original ray bans I figured I'd try them myself first and see how they looked." He giggled, Arnav took the shades from him and thanked him while I stood there still feeling awkward.
"So now tell us." His mom asked as he looked at him excitedly.
Arnav looked at me with a huge smile on his face, damn I was almost falling for his smile. He turned to look at his parents and then pulled me closer as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"I wanted you to meet her, she's Khushi, my girlfriend and love this are my parents, Mrs. Manasi Raizada and Mr. Rajan Raizada." Arnav said as he looked me into the eyes so lovingly, for a moment I could have also believed that he was actually in love with me.
"Really?" His mom asked with a huge smile on her face, she looked so excited and so happy about it that I finally felt relaxed, maybe Arnav was right, maybe his parents were actually going to believe this.
"Of course mom, now why would I lie?" Arnav smirked and his mom gave him a look that clearly meant 'you've lied to us before' and then slapped him on his arm.
She turned to look at me and pulled me away from Arnav's hold and then looked at me from top to bottom.
"You're so beautiful, I'm jealous of you already." She smiled at me.
"Thank you ma'am." I smiled nervously.
"Ma'am, seriously? I'm your boyfriend's mother, I wouldn't mind if you call me mom too." She giggled.
"Oh now stop acting like the typical Indian mother in law." Arnav's dad said as he looked at me and then at Arnav gladly, like he was actually happy his son had a girlfriend.
"Did I hear the word girlfriend?" I heard a sweet voice that belonged to a tiny girl who now walked downstairs holding a pink teddy in her hand, she stopped in front of us and looked at me in awe, I wondered who she was.
"Arnav, she is so beautiful, is she your girlfriend?" She asked in her sweet voice, she walked towards Arnav as he picked her up in his arms and pulled her cheeks lovingly, honestly knowing that he was a bad boy, I never thought I could see this side of him.
"Yes baby, she's my girlfriend, isn't she gorgeous just like you?" Arnav asked.
"Very." She nodded as she jumped down and rushed towards me as she hugged me excitedly.
"She's my little sister Ashi." Arnav said noticing the confusion on my face. I bent down on my knees and pulled her cheeks just like Arnav did, she was so cute.
"Khushi I hope you're staying for dinner, you should because I'm going to cook myself today, I am so happy that Arnav had a girlfriend, you don't know what that means, I'll get to the kitchen right away, see you at dinner." His mom said to me excitedly, I just nodded as she rushed to the kitchen.
"I have an urgent meeting to attend also, but I'll be back by dinner and then we can have dinner together and you can tell us how you fell in love with my boy, Arnav why don't you show her around meanwhile." Arnav's dad said.
"Sure." Arnav smiled and then he bid us a goodbye and rushed away, Ashi also headed back upstairs with her teddy and Arnav and I were left all alone once again.
"I told you they'll love you!" Arnav said as he wrapped his arm around my waist again and pulled me closer, he looked me into the eyes and I started feeling butterflies in my stomach again, his arm around my waist was doing to me so much that it shouldn't.
We heard someone cough as Arnav let go off me immediately and turned to his mother who was standing a bit further smiling.
"Oh you two love birds, you're reminding me of the days I fell in love with Rajan, anyway Khushi I came to ask if you like Paneer, I'm deciding on making different kind of Indian food for dinner today."
"Sure, I love it." I said.
"This is unfair, why don't I ever get asked if I like something?" Arnav pouted like a baby. His mother just shrugged and walked away as if she was already used to his tantrums, I never knew the bad boy could also throw tantrums at home.
Honestly after meeting everyone in his family, for a while I had even forgotten that Arnav was a bad boy, the one who always wore leather jackets and bullied people and even almost killed people.
He belonged to such a rich and classy family, why did he have to be what he was, what made him like that?
"How about I show you our bedroom love?" Arnav smirked at me.
"Yeah our bedroom as if I'm going to get married to you tomorrow and your bedroom is going to be our bedroom, in your dreams bad boy, remember I am the fake girlfriend." I smirked at him.
"Fine, come on I'll show you my room and before I forget, I have an elder brother who isn't home yet but maybe you'll meet him at dinner and another sister younger than me but older than Ashi, she's also out but she'll be at dinner."
"You've got a huge family." I smiled as he held my hand again and pulled me upstairs with him, seriously every time he touched me it felt like an electric shock, the good kind of an electric shock.
"You don't have siblings?" he asked as we were done climbing the stairs and like I had figured, there were rooms around here, more than eight of them if I had counted right, we turned towards the right and walked straight.
"No, I was five when dad passed away and mom dint get married again." I said sadly, I dint have much memories with dad, and I even barely remembered what he looked like, except for the pictures mom showed me.
"I am sorry." Arnav said as he opened the door and welcomed me inside his huge room that was the size of my house.
It was so neat and clean and just like the rest of the house, the interiors were in white and grey, there were six windows lined up that gave the view of the garden and in front of it was his bed again in white and grey. It was simple but a beautiful room.
"It's beautiful." I smiled at Arnav.
"But you don't look beautiful with that sadness in your eyes, I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked you about your family, it reminded you of your dad and now you're sad." He pouted.
"It's okay, I'll be fine in a while." I tried to smile.
"Come I'll give you a hug and make you feel better." He pulled me closer and hugged me tight, it actually felt better and safe, I never thought I was ever going to feel like this, not at least with him.
Today it was like I had seen a new side of Arnav, not the bad boy or the flirty one, I saw a side where he was a normal human being just like any of us and he had an awesome family and apart from being flirty he was also caring.
I broke the hug as I heard the sound of giggles, I turned towards the door and found Ashi standing there giggling.
"Don't worry I won't tell mom what I saw." She giggled and then winked at me, seriously this girl was bigger than her age.
"Ashi, what did I tell you about Privacy?" Arnav looked at her strictly.
"If you wanted privacy you should have closed the door, not my fault." She made a face at him and then walked away, Arnav and I looked at each other for a moment and then busted out laughing like two crazy people.
