Part 15
Mom looked at me with the most bizarre surprised expressions on her face, well for her it was because her daughter had been lying to her about not having a boyfriend when she actually had one.
"Why wouldn't you tell me about it Khushi? It wasn't that I was going to kill you for having a boyfriend." Mom said as she kept on staring at me while I kept on staring at Arnav, bottling up all my anger to get it out on him all at once.
"Exactly Love, you should have told your mom about us." Arnav said smiling at me brightly, I felt like punching him and breaking those thirty two or whatever teeth he was showing me.
"Khushi, I'm waiting for an answer." Mom shook me bringing me out of the imagination world where I had killed Arnav more than fifty times now.
"Mom... Umm, we just started dating and I thought I'd give you a surprise by inviting him here for dinner and introducing him to you." I explained as Stella, Ryle and Leena looked at me in shock now.
Seriously, I knew they were going to kill me, firstly for dating a bad boy even though I wasn't dating him and secondly for not telling them that I was dating him when I really wasn't! Did that even make sense?
"Oh how sweet, anyway come let's get started with dinner and you can tell me all about how you met and his name too." She giggled as she walked back towards the table, Arnav tried to follow her but I got hold of his hand and stopped him glaring at him angrily.
"Mom, how about I get two minutes of a private moment with the love of my life?" I asked sarcastically.
"Oh sure honey, you can always use your room upstairs, but be back soon, don't make me doubt there's something fishy going on." She giggled once again as I pulled Arnav upstairs with me.
Honestly I had never been angry on anyone as much as I was angry on him, how could he just show up here uninvited and how in the hell could he tell my mom that he was my boyfriend? Maybe if he had said he was a friend I would have forgiven him, but boyfriend? He wasn't even my type!
Okay, stop lying to yourself Khushi.
"What the hell was that?" I barked at him.
"If you keep on holding my hand like that, I would also start believing we are a couple." He smiled as he gestured towards our hands, I let go off his hands immediately and stepped away from him, I sat down on the bed trying to make everything sink in.
A bad boy showed up at my doorstep claiming he was my boyfriend and to make it worse, I accepted that he was, well done Khushi, you deserve an award for that. What was I even thinking?
I picked up a pillow and threw it on his face but he got hold of it before it could even hit him, I was seriously so angry, everything inside me was literally burning.
"Aww that's romantic, but just so you know I hate pillow fights." Arnav said as he threw the pillow back at me.
"What the hell were you trying to do? How would you react if I showed up to your house suddenly and lied to your parents about being your girlfriend?"
"I would be so happy, I might even actually pull you into a hug, my parents have been dying to see me with a girlfriend, but you know for me it's always been different." He smirked.
"Yes, different like having one night stands and then you don't even remember you had slept with her when you see her next time." I shrugged.
"Perfect, just like that." He winked at me.
"I don't even know why I'm entertaining you, I'll just go downstairs." I stood up to walk away but he got hold of my hand and pulled my back so suddenly, I ended up crushing on his chest.
I stared at him as he stared back at me, the smirk still plastered on his face, God! It was so irritating but then there was something about this moment that felt really beautiful. I moved backwards and looked at him angrily.
"What now?"
"Just out of curiosity, why didn't you tell your mom the truth? Why did you play along? I was thinking I was going to get kicked out." He giggled.
"Because although unlike you I don't sleep around with random people, mom also has been wanting to meet my boyfriend and I've never had one, so I thought be it a lie, she would at least be happy, but that's it, you're never coming here again or meeting her again, after some time I'll just tell her we broke up and that's it."
"What if I wouldn't want to break up?" He winked at me.
"As if you have a choice, you aren't even my friend, so thinking about being a boyfriend is a bit too much." I shrugged as I headed downstairs and he followed me.
We both settled down next to each other as I got really angry glares from Ryle and Leena, Stella seemed pretty undisturbed it was surprising.
Seriously the way I had been pissed at Arnav when he walked in and lied about my boyfriend, I thought I was actually going to murder him, but seeing that happiness on mom's face, somewhere calmed down my nerves.
I knew she always wanted to give me a life everyone had and she always wanted to see me living a life everyone was living and since I never had a boyfriend, she kept on wondering if something was wrong, but now she was happy, even though Arnav really wasn't my boyfriend, for mom he was and she was happy about it.
We served ourselves food but I couldn't even eat well, the continuous glares I had been getting from Leena and Ryle were making me nervous, I turned to look at Arnav who was busy eating like no one's business.
"How much do you eat?" I asked, he stopped eating and looked at me seriously for a moment and then ended up smiling, he moved closer to me and pecked on my cheeks living me completely shocked, wasn't he taking this fake boyfriend act too far?
Although there was no denying that the peck from the bad boy gave me an adrenaline rush, the fact remained to be that he wasn't allowed to even touch me!
I picked up a fork and pinned it on his thighs as I looked at him angrily, he almost jumped out of his chair screaming in pain.
"Ouch." He said as he stared at me.
"What happened?" mom asked as she looked at him worriedly.
"Nothing really, your daughter is so romantic, she's been kicking my leg under the table." Arnav smiled and then turned to look at me and winked.
"Check mate love."
Somebody please kill him! Mom looked at me with a smile and honestly it was awkward, why did he have to say such stupid things? I wanted to punch him, and even hit him with as many forks as I could but mom looked so happy about us and it was making me feel helpless.
"Love, will you please pass me the jug?" Arnav asked as he looked at me lovingly, if I dint know he was faking this, I would have also believed that he was my boyfriend, I stretched my arm and got hold of the jug as I handed it to him.
He picked up a glass and place it in front of me gesturing to me to fill it with water, I shrugged and poured some water in the glass and handed it to him staring at him angrily, if not today, then tomorrow, but Arnav Raizada had to pay for all of this.
"You both are so adorable together." Mom said as she looked at the both of us lovingly.
"Weren't you getting late Arnav? Remember you told me you had to leave early because you had some important work?" I asked
He looked at me in confusion for a moment and then realized that I was just trying to make him leave, before he could say anything and make an excuse of staying back, I stood up.
"Come on, I'll accompany you till outside." I smiled as he shrugged and gave me an irritated glare as he stood up.
"It was nice meeting you all, I should get going but aunty, your daughter is one hell of a perfect girlfriend." Arnav smiled at mom and then followed me, I held the door open and ushered him outside with a fake smile on my face.
"If you ever show up here again, I'll welcome you with a bucket of hot water."
"Oh, how much I love it when you say such romantic things to me." He said as he got hold of my hand and pulled me outside with him, shutting the door behind, he pushed me to the wall and pinned me there, staring into my eyes.
He moved closer to me slowly closing the distance between us, not taking his eyes off me and honestly this proximity was doing so much to me that I couldn't explain.
He brushed his thumb on my lips and then bit his, that was sexy!
"How about you give your boyfriend a goodbye kiss?" He smirked at me.
"Over my dead body." I said as I tried to push him away, but damn he was a bad boy for a reason, he dint even move an inch.
"Mommy dear is watching from the window, she wouldn't like her daughter behaving badly with her boyfriend now, would she?" He smirked once again, seriously I was so done feeling helpless, plus the way he was holding me and he had me pinned to the wall, it was making me feel a lot of things I shouldn't.
He moved closer to my mouth, gently brushing my lips with his thumb, sending down shivers to my spine, I had never felt so helpless, I had never felt like I wanted this and I dint want this in the same moment.
His lips were almost touching mine when I reminded myself that this guy acting so cute and sweet with me at the moment was actually a bad boy who came to dinner uninvited and lied to mom that he was my boyfriend and now he wanted to kiss me when my mom was watching, seriously this was never going to happen.
I pushed him away and walked back to the door, I stopped and turned to look at him once before I walked back inside the house.
"Next time before you try to kiss me, just reminded yourself that I am not like you, I'm not the kind of a girl who goes on sleeping around with someone for a night and if that's what's you're trying to get me into I suggest you stop trying because it's never going to happen." I walked inside the house slamming the door angrily, I was more than done with his dramas now.
