"He's coming back!" I jumped up excitedly and hugged mom as I danced around with her happily.

"Oh my God! I can't believe that he's finally coming back." I hugged her happily as tears rolled down my eyes, of course they were tears of happiness.

Seven years back, after we both finished school, Arnav went to Oxford University in London for further studies, surprisingly he had passed with really good grades and he chose to study there, as for me I passed but with not so good grades and obviously my mother couldn't really afford to send me anywhere else to study so I did my university here in Miami and then I also got a job an year ago.

As for Arnav, he left soon after school and at first I was sad, I always heard about long distance relationships not working and I was scared, I dint know if ours was going to work or not, but well, if I'm so excited right now, it obviously worked.

He made sure to come back in holiday and all but for the past two years, I had only seen him on video calls, he finished his studies and then took an internship there itself which made it impossible for him to come back.

Although I missed him, I supported his decision, so we had literally stayed away from each other for two years, can you imagine, two freaking years!

"Is he coming for holidays or to stay?" Mom asked.

"I don't know, he just called and told me he's coming, he told me he wanted to take me out in the evening so I should be ready, I am so excited, I'll see him after two good years, I feel like rejoicing happily.

"I am happy for you too, but now I really have to go to work, but I'll wait for all the details once you are back from the date." She winked at me, I bid her a goodbye and she left.

I settled down on the sofa, I was so happy and excited to see him, we fell in love as teenagers and we grew up away from each other for seven years, I only saw him once a year maybe and he had grown up to be hotter than he was when he was just a teenager.

And for the past two years, I hadn't even seen him in real, so you can imagine my excitement, I couldn't really wait to meet him and for the date I really need to do some shopping, I need to look my best today, and I think the last time I bought a new pair of clothes must be like three years back, since I started my job, it had been keeping me so busy I barely had time for anything else.

That reminded me, I had a job! I looked at my watch and relaxed realizing that it was a Saturday and gladly I dint work on Saturdays.

I rushed upstairs to my room, got my car keys and my wallet and then headed out, I got into the car and drove straight to the shopping mall, on my way to the shopping mall, I called Leena and told her to meet me there so she could help me with the shopping.

She lived just nearby so by the time I arrived at the mall, she was already there waiting for me.

"Wow, it's been ages since we shopped together, but why are we shopping suddenly?" Leena asked as I stepped out of my car and joined her, we both headed towards the elevator.

"Arnav is coming back, and I have a date." I smiled at her excitedly.

"Wow, the bad boy is finally coming back." Leena smiled.

"I know, I'm so excited, I can't wait to see him." I smiled brightly at her, once we were on the third floor, we headed straight to my favorite shop, I usually bought all my clothes from there.

Leena and I spent almost the whole day shopping for the dress and then the right shoes and this and that, I arrived back home at four o'clock, realizing that I had only three hours to get ready, Arnav had said he's pick me up at seven sharp.

I quickly got into the shower, I had just put oil last night in my hair and in the morning I was lazy to wash it so I had to wash it now.

After getting out of the shower, I dried my hair with a hair dryer and then put it up in a messy bun.

I got dressed in the beautiful black off shoulder gown Leena and I bought, I was hoping for something casual but since it was an evening date, Leena suggested I wear an evening dress so the long black evening gown, it was pretty simple but it was perfect.

Once I was dressed up, I sat in front of the mirror for the next hour making sure I did my makeup simple but perfect, after the makeup, only my hair was left.

I tried putting it into different kind of buns but nothing looked good, I felt like crying, I was going to see him after ages and my hair was acting weird.

I took in a few deep breaths and sat down, picked up my curling iron and started curling my hair, when nothing worked, curls surely did.

I don't remember the last time I took this long getting ready, I had spent almost three hours just making sure I looked fine today and when I looked at myself in the mirror, I actually did, so all the hard work I put into this was actually worth it.

I sat on my bed waiting for Arnav to call me or something, it was already seven and he wasn't here yet, I was nervous, I was obviously meeting him after so long, I felt it was going to be a bit awkward.

I flinched when my phone rang suddenly, I jumped up and looked at my phone, his name was flashing on it and suddenly my heart was running a race.

I took in a few deep breaths to calm myself down and then received the call.

"Hello." It came out in a whisper.

"Hello Love." I heard his voice, I knew he was definitely smirking, damn how I missed him calling me love, for the past years, we usually talked on video calls and he would rarely address me a love so today when he did, it actually gave me goosebumps.

"Arnav." I smiled in excitement.

"I'm outside your house, come whenever you are ready."

"I'll be there right away." I disconnected the call, picked up my clutch and rushed outside in a hurry, I couldn't wait to see him.

I stepped out and looked at him, he was leaning on his huge black Jeep, with his arms folded, he was dressed in a three piece suit and I finally felt glad that Leena convinced me for a gown, I'd look weird if I was wearing a jean or something.

His hair had grown long and he had it look spiked up, he had beard, a lot of it covering his half face but he looked hot, different but really hot.

He stared back at me with the same awed expressions I had on my face as I walked towards him, when I stopped near him, he immediately wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me closer as I crashed on his chest, and nothing was as awkward as I thought it was going to be.

"You should stop looking like this, makes me feel like cancelling the date and taking you inside the bedroom right away." He smirked.

"You haven't changed at all." I giggled as I slapped on his arm playfully.

"Not even a bit love." He winked at me, he pecked on my cheek and then ushered me inside the car as he drove wherever he was taking me.

While he was busy concentrating on the road, I was busy staring at him and admiring this beautiful man that was mine only.

"Stop staring at me Love." He smiled as he looked at me from the corner of his eyes.

"It's not my fault that while staying away from me, you became hotter." I giggled to which he smirked.

He parked the car outside the Raizada mansion and I looked at him in confusion, we came to his place for a date? I dint have an idea.

He stepped out of the car and so did I, I looked at him in confusion hoping he would explain something but instead he just grabbed my hand and pulled me along.

Instead of going inside the mansion, we headed to the garden, and as we approached, I was left in awe at the sight, the whole garden was beautifully decorated with balloons and lights and flowers.

We stopped in front of a huge screen that had been blank all this while but the something appeared on it suddenly.

There was something written on it so I read it out keenly.

I am really good at flirting and doing everything else, but I don't think I was ever going to be good to put it into words how much I love you or how special you are to me, I knew if I tried saying this on my own, I'd end up laughing and irritating the hell out of you so I thought, I'd tell you about it this way.

I love You Khushi, I can't be glad you stayed with me for all this years, even the times when I thought this relation wasn't going to work because of the distance, you put up with me.

I am really thankful that you were so patient for the past two years and I don't even know how to tell you how much that meant to me, so all I'll say is, thank you for coming into my life and most of all, thank you for staying.

I turned to look at him once I was done reading whatever that was on the screen, and instead of finding him standing beside me, I found him kneeling down, holding a ring for me.

"Khushi, will you marry me?" He asked with a huge smile on his face of course along with the bad boy smirk.

I was totally surprised, and awestruck, I kept on staring at him feeling like was going to cry because of so much happiness, I nodded my head positively as he slid the ring on my finger and then stood up, I pulled him into a kiss immediately.

Today, he fulfilled the promise he had made to me seven years back, the promise that he was going to marry me someday, I swear I was the luckiest girl in the world.

"I tried all I could to make it special for you, I hope you liked it." He smiled at me as he pulled apart from the kiss.

"Of course I did, I wasn't just expecting this, I dint have an idea."

"I was done staying away from you and I decided, if I had to stay away from here, it could be better if you were along, I want to settle down in London and I hope you don't mind coming along." He looked at me nervously.

"Of course I don't, wherever you are, its home for me." I hugged him tight.

"Aww, you two stop being this cute." I heard a voice, I turned around and found Krystle walking towards us followed by the rest of the family members along with my mom.

"You knew about this?" I asked mom in shock.

"Of course I did." She smiled as she hugged me happily.

"I am so glad that you both are finally getting married, I can't wait to throw a grand wedding." Arnav's mom giggled.

"I can't wait to finally get a second daughter in law." His dad said as he looked at Ahaan and his wife.

"And we both can't wait to get a sister in law." Krystle and Ashi said excitedly.

"How about I can't wait to make you my wife, to tell the entire world that you are mine only mine and no one else can even look at you?" Arnav smirked at me.

"You'll always be the bad boy." I giggled as he side hugged me tightly.

"So how about we all finally have dinner and start planning for the wedding?" His mom asked.

"Gladly." Arnav smiled as he pulled me along, in the middle of the garden, there was table place where we all settled down as the servants served us food, I sat beside Arnav, holding his hand and I continued staring at him with a smile on my face, this man always made me so happy.

He was like my happily ever after.
