Part 4
I parked my car in my usual spot, Kitty for the first time ever came early, that too without me giving me some random excuse but I knew better, she was interested in one of Arnav's friends and she was just trying to be flirty or something.
I hated that my best friend had to like Arnav's friend and she dint seem to care about anything at all not even the terrible fights we had yesterday.
I stepped out of my car and picked up two spray paint bottles from my car, I walked straight towards the jeep that had been parked beside mine, he dint listen to what I said yesterday so I really had to do something
I was about to start vandalizing his car but I stopped, I threw back the bottles inside my car and headed to my class, I was done with this Arnav guy, I guess I took my revenge over the fight so now it was better if I behaved like he didn't exist to me.
I walked to my class and found Katherine seated at the top corner with the blue eyes guy, I think his name was Damon, they both were so engrossed in their discussion.
I looked at Caroline and Bonnie who were seated together at the front, busy giggling and discussing about Katherine and Damon back there.
I was just about to go and seat beside them when both the guys, the one with the green eyes and the cute one sat there.
I found two empty desks in the middle so I to sat there, I looked around the class and it was all packed up and gladly Arnav wasn't here, I swear I was going to burn in anger if I saw his face.
The door opened and as usual I hoped it was the lecturer but it wasn't, it was my worst nightmare, Arnav walked in and scanned the entire classroom, his eyes fell on me and he started walking towards me.
I hated this, I didn't want to fight in a class, I loved studying and I wanted to concentrate instead of fighting with Arnav!
He sat down beside me and I couldn't even tolerate it, just yesterday he told me I was ugly and now he was seating next to me, bloody double faced. Although I was proud of myself because I left so many scars on his face than he left on mine, and he still lost the fight while he was calling me a loser.
"Go sit somewhere else, remember I am ugly and a loser even though I won the fight while you were lying on the floor like a baby." I said to him without actually looking at him and smirked to myself.
"Yes you are ugly and I would love to sit somewhere else but this is the only empty place." He said completely ignoring my remark on the fight, I turned around and looked at the classroom, it was full actually and I hated that I was going to have to spend the next hour seating with the guy I hated the most in the world.
I groaned and choose to ignore him, the lecturer walked in and I felt so glad, at least I was going to have something else to concentrate on beside the fact that this stupid guy was seated next to me.
I noticed a girl from the front desk looking at Arnav, I turned my head to look at him and saw him winking at her, she blushed and turned to look away, I rolled my eyes trying to concentrate on the class when basically every other girl in this girl was looking at either of the four boys.
I couldn't really wait to get out of this class seriously, I hated having any class together with any of this boys, especially Arnav, he was just getting into my nerves.
After the class was finally over, I picked up my stuff and looked at Caroline and Bonnie who stood up immediately and walked out along with me, I had no expectations from Kitty because she was too busy flirting with Damon.
"The guy with the green eyes told me to tell you that you were beautiful and it dint matter what Arnav thought, he even told me that his name was Stefan, he has such a cute name." Caroline gushed about him.
"Really, I am so glad he finds me beautiful" I said sarcastically rolling my eyes.
"I talked to the other one, he's so cute and he's Indian, I've always wanted an Indian boyfriend, he also has a cute name, Karthik." Bonnie joined Caroline.
"Are you two trying to tell me that you were talking to Arnav's friends? The guy who called me ugly and a loser and more yesterday? Maybe you forgot you were my friends, and Bonnie you're already thinking of Karthik as your boyfriend, stop acting so desperate, since when did my friends become like this?" I asked looking at them in shock, honestly I had expected more from them.
"You fought with Arnav and just because he is a jerk doesn't mean his friends are." Caroline said."Well yeah great carry on then, I guess I'll go home, I'm done for today." I turned to walk towards the parking lot, I was just frustrated, I mean I would literally die for my friends and for them it was like they didn't even care.
I unlocked my car and jumped in, I took in a few deep breaths to calm myself down before I headed home, I was done staying here today with my friends acting so weird and it was so unlike of me missing classes but I just couldn't stand any of this. I knew maybe I was just over reacting, neither of Arnav's friends messed up with me, it was only Arnav so if I should have been angry on anyone about it, it should have been him, maybe the girls were just right.
I couldn't stop them having crushes on the guys when literally the entire university was.I put in the key and switched on the car but it started acting weird, I tried a couple more times to start it but it just wouldn't.
"Here we go!" I groaned angrily as I jumped out and headed to the bonnet, I opened it and tried to find out what was wrong but I wasn't really good with repairing cars despite my love for them.
I pulled out my phone from the pocket of my jean looking for the mechanic's number when suddenly I heard the sound of a car door opening, I lifted my head up and saw Arnav walking out of his car, I dint even know he was there all that time.
"Look at the bad girl not knowing how to repair a car." He smirked at me, and obviously it irritated the hell out of me.
"What's your problem? Do you want another fight with me because if you do, all you have to do is ask." I looked at him really wanting to punch him.
He ignored my comment and I knew I was making him angry, he stared at me angrily for a moment until I had to look away from him, he walked towards my car and looked at it, he stared for a moment and then got hold of two wires.
"Don't touch anything, it's my car I'll deal with it." I said angrily, I didn't need any sort of help, not from him at least.
"I don't really care and you're still pathetic." He said as he joined both the wires, he closed the bonnet and headed back to his car while I was left there standing in confusion.
Did he help me or did he just ruin something more, I got back to my car and tried to switch it on and it worked, I turned to look at him through the window and saw him lying on the seat with his eyes shut, I didn't even know why he helped me.
As a matter of fact he hated me and I hated him and he thought I was ugly and pathetic and I was pretending to be what I wasn't so why did he even help me? He wasn't supposed to.
*****
I walked inside the mansion and much to my surprise mom was home today, she's never home, not at this time at least.
She's seated in the hall busy talking to someone on the phone and I'm glad I won't have to face her so I tiptoe inside and making sure she doesn't see me.
"Mum, look Khushi is running away." My little annoying brother shouted while pointing at me.
"Khushi stop, where are you going?" Mom turned to look at me, I glared at my brother like I was going to beat the shit out of him.
"You little prick." I gave him a murderous look.
"Mom she's terrifying me." He whined like a four year old baby even when he wasn't. Ayush was fifteen, only five years younger than me but he was so mean and the worst possible sibling ever, anytime I did or said something to him, he would go to complain to mom and he was irritating as hell.
"Khushi stop terrifying Ayush, and what's that on your face? You fought with someone again dint you?" She looked at me with disappointment.
"Why aren't you happy that I passed my previous exams and topped, why do you care about the fights more, you should care about my results which never disappoint." I smirked at her.
"You know you're getting old, we'll soon have to find you a groom and if this is your behavior I doubt we'll ever find one." Indian mothers!
"I don't need a groom mom, and I'm having no discussion about it whatsoever." I said as I ran upstairs quickly to escape my mother, once she started with her questions or her lectures, she wouldn't just stop.
