I kept on dialing Rachel's number on my phone every now and then but it was unreachable, I don't know where she disappeared since she told me about Zion.

We were supposed to go find him together and now she had disappeared too, her phone had been switched off and there were no other means of me contacting her.

I even went to her house but I was met with a locked door, the neighbors told me they hadn't seen her for a few days and now I was worried, I dint know what the hell was going on.

She was supposed to bring me all the details so we could go find Zion and now I don't know where she was, I even visited the police station hoping the cops would help me but they only filed my complain of Rachel missing apart from that they dint tell me anything related to Zion and I was so frustrated.

I wanted to find my best friend! How was I going to find him without Rachel? She left me with no detail apart from him being alive.

Katherine walked into my room smiling brightly, she looked really happy like everything in her life was so perfectly fine, why was mine only messed up?

"You ready to leave?" She asked, I nodded and grabbed my boots as I put them on still thinking about Zion, I had to do something to find him, but what?

I dint even know any of Rachel's friends that I could go ask them where Rachel was or anything.I grabbed my car keys and my bag as I headed outside and Katherine walked along beside me staring at me until we got to the parking lot.

"Can you drive us today, I've got a lot going on in my mind I don't think I'll concentrate on driving." I said to her, she nodded as she headed to the driver's seat, I rarely allowed anyone to drive my car unless for instances like this.

"What happened? You okay?" She asked.

"Just thinking about Zion." I said as I explained everything to her on our way to the university, she was as surprised as I had been when I told her Zion was alive and was hiding somewhere for God knows what reason.

"I think you should talk to Caroline and Bonnie about this too and then the four of us can do something and look for him?" Katherine suggested.

"I guess I have to do that." I said to her as we both stepped out of the car as we both headed to the hallway looking for Caroline and Bonnie who were nowhere to be seen.

Before we could find them, Arnav came out of nowhere and stopped in front of me, today gladly he wasn't smirking as usual.

"Katherine go find Damon to entertain you, I need to talk to her." Arnav said.

"How about you go get some of those girls you sleep around with to entertain you and leave me and my friend alone?" Katherine spat back to which I laughed, Arnav's face was something to see when Katherine said that to him.

"It's okay kitty, go find Bonnie and Caroline, I'll join you in five." I said to her, she nodded but looked at me weirdly before walking away.

"Why are you suddenly acting like my boyfriend?" I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Oh you know I don't do the girlfriend thing." He smirked.

"So get lost then because I don't do the sleeping around thing." I said as I turned around to walk to my class.

"Why are you always angry on me? You tell me you feel things towards me yet all I can see you feel is anger." He said as he followed me.

"Because you are becoming difficult to understand Arnav. If you're running around me thinking you'll get a chance to take me to your bed like the other girls then it's not going to happen, my feelings might be everything else but lust."

"So you think I'm lusting for you?"

"Maybe yes."

"Why are you so damn impossible Khushi? You drive me so mad and crazy and freaking insane!" He shouted at me angrily as he walked away from me, seriously, were we ever going to get along? I was really trying but I guess he dint want to try.

As I walked into class, I found Bonnie, Caroline and Katherine seating together, they were looking at me continuously, Caroline stood up suddenly, grabbed my arm and pulled me to where they were seating so I sat beside them.

"What are you hiding from us?" She asked.

"What am I hiding from you?" I looked at them in confusion.

"Oh don't act, every time I've seen you and Arnav, you both are always arguing like crazy but today you weren't, in fact you were like two normal people." Katherine said.

"Oh you should have waited a few minutes then, because we definitely did." I said to Katherine.

"Shut up, I noticed something, he held your hand Khushi, you don't allow anyone to hold your hand." She said. Did he really hold my hand? I don't even remember.

"So are you going to tell us or we find out from somewhere else?" Bonnie said.

"I'll tell you when you all tell me about yourselves. Katherine you about Damon, Caroline you about Stefan and Bonnie you about Karthik." I smirked at them.

Gladly the lecturer walked in so they dint get the chance to ask me more questions and as soon as the class came to an end, Karthik walked towards me asking me to talk, I couldn't tell how happy I was that he took me away from the girls.

Not that I wanted to hide anything from them, I just wanted to be sure of things before I told them about anything.

"I just wanted to thank you for what you did for me, thing between Bonnie and I are kind of working out." Karthik smiled at me as we walked out of the class together.

"Great, just don't hurt my friend ever otherwise you know what I can do." I laughed.

"I know, I know." Karthik smiled, I stopped walking when I saw Arnav standing ahead, I turned around and saw the three girls standing beside me, wow how was I supposed to escape this?

"Anyway I'll see you later, I think Arnav wants to talk to you." Karthik said as he walked away leaving me alone, before I could decide what to do Arnav was already standing in front of me, he suddenly grabbed my hand and I looked at him in surprise.

"Let's go." He said. Shit the girls just saw that, now they were going to ask me millions of questions.

"Where?" I asked.

"You'll know. You want to know what I feel for you right, so let's go, I'll tell you what I feel for you." He said as he pulled me along and I just followed him.

I dint know where he was taking me or what he was going to do or say but I just followed him silently because I really wanted to know what he felt towards me. Did he just want to sleep with me like he did with other girls or was it something else?

We drove in the car silently for what seemed like forever, I dint utter a word, I had nothing to say besides he was the one going to tell me what he felt so I was expecting him to say something but he remained silent.

We stopped at a restaurant, we had been driving for so long, it was almost lunch time, so we headed inside ordered food and ate silently, it was funny because neither of us spoke anything, I dint even know what he was trying to do.

Once we were done with lunch, he took me for a movie, he chose a random movie and we headed in the theatre to watch it, it was the first ever time that I had skipped my classes and it was because of him.

We watched a Bollywood movie which was almost three hours long, after finishing it, he took me for another long drive until evening approached and all this while neither of us spoke much, it was like he was taking me on a date but not talking to me.

Although it was weird without either of us talking, it was still fun because he was around, and I liked the feeling I got when he was around me. After the drive, he parked the car in what looked like a jungle, we both stepped out and he took be to a cliff.

He settled down and I sat beside him, in the whole day, this was the first time he spoke something.

"You see this sky Khushi, so plain, no stars, no moon and right now you can't even see the sun." He said, to which I nodded positively.

"That was my life before I came to mystic falls." He said, I looked at him trying to figure out what he was trying to tell me but I had no idea, we stayed silent for a moment just staring at the sky as minutes passed by.

The sky started getting darker slowly and the moon showed up along with a few stars, I felt Arnav slid his hand on mine as he held my hand tightly.

"This is what my life has been like since I met you Khushi." He said, I looked at him in surprise, I hadn't expected him to say something like this.

"My life has been a dark mess with no light but since I met you, the moon and stars have started showing up, that day when you stayed back at my place was when I realized it. I could sleep peacefully with you around me, you just help me feel better, you help me sleep better and you make me want to stop being a jerk and be a better person." He said.

"Arnav..."

"Shh, don't say anything." He placed his finger on my lips and silenced me, I just nodded as I leaned on his shoulder, resting my head as we both watched the beautiful night sky.
