"How do you know that?" Nico said as I confronted him about why he changed. Apparently I wasn't as subtle as I thought about it because he freaked out. He started yelling at me until Leo rushed in. Nico stormed out of the room, leaving me to deal with Leo's questioning gaze. I didn't have to explain much until of us both were distracted by thumps and shouts from the upper deck. It doesn't take long before we shot up the stairs and find a quickly formed crowd if front of... wait... Percy's cabin?

We all just sit in silence, unsure of what to do until barely three seconds passed by and Annabeth pushes through worriedly and barges through the door. I follow to find Percy on the ground, tangled in his blankets and drenched in sweat. He seems to be breathing heavily and right away Annabeth tries to get him to sit up. But as soon as she comes in contact with his skin Percy gives a panicked shout even though he's unconscious.

"Percy!" She shouts,"Percy, it's just a dream, wake up!" Percy stirred and slowly opened his eyes while rubbing his face. Annabeth gives a relieved sigh and helps him up.

"Uh, I'm sorry about that." Percy finally says after an awkward silence where everyone just stared at him. His cheeks were burning and he gave a goofy smile, though as he turned to look at us he smile seemed to morph a little into a strained look, as if he were thinking about something bad. I stuff a hand into my pocket guiltily and in return Annabeth stares in a stern calculating look. I'm still sure Percy and I both have nightmares about the other ones and I'm still thinking about what the meaning could possibly be. What is the purpose of these nightmares? How on earth are we going to stop these. Honestly I don't think I could take it if I were to see my friends childhood trauma every time I closed my eyes.

Percy shifts he knees and gets off his bed. His smirk didn't waver this time as he passed me Percy put his hand on Leo's shoulder as he passed him out the door. Soon enough the room was messy and abandoned once again as we filed out. When I walked out last, closing the door behind me, I sped to catch up to Piper and Leo, they were talking seriously, which I know is the last thing Percy wants right now. I catch up to them and I hear their conversation that I hoped they weren't talking about right behind Percy. The fact that they were whispering just for some reason seemed worse.

"I just don't know how I would live like that, with nightmares that bad. I know that Annabeth is trying to help carry Percy's burden, but she has to carry a burden on her own and Percy isn't even trying to talk to Annabeth about it, he'll say one sentence about something only a little related to it and he's just too stubborn to let us help." Piper gossiped. Leo shook his head in agreement and he replied with," I knew Tartarus can hurt you but I always thought it would like affect your, um... body more than your... dreams? I guess. Man I'm terrible words today." Leo giggled quietly. Piper rolled her eyes but brightened when she saw me.
But then she saw my expression and frowned worriedly.

"Are you okay? You look a little shaken up." She said.

"It's okay, I'm just worried." I say and we both give each other a reassuring smile just as Percy gave Annabeth a bear hug, both of them laughing loudly and with huge smiles.
