I rap my fingers on the table in a fit of boredom. Why weren't we swimming in blue waters or just soaking up the sun on the beach? This is supposed to be a relaxing vacation, of course. Oh! I know why! Drama. Why the drama? Is this payback for missing part of high school? Or maybe it's a curse that I can't having a freaking good day. If everyone doesn't kiss and make up by tomorrow I'm just going to stay in the water for the rest of the trip.

Next to me, Hazel giggles at something Frank said. They seem to be the only ones having no drama on this trip. On the other hand we seem to be having a missing unstable couple, an even more unstable son of Jupiter and his angry girlfriend, and oh! But that's not all. Nico had convinced us that we didn't need to bring along Will because he got embarrassed which ended up with him being bored, just staring across the room. Just to mention, Annabeth here told me to get out of her room because I was distracting her from her work. I would normally be okay with it, but I don't exactly have a war to worry about, along with a camp of friends. And honestly, I don't want to spoil Frank and Hazel's fun.

Piper made her entrance to the room loudly. She jerks a chair back next to me and plops herself in it. Sighing, she puts her face in her hand. She had a big fight with Jason. It's getting bad. You know, what if I just go see Jason. He's been acting super weird now. Piper rubbed her eyes with her palm and looks at us. I try by best to give her a supportive smile.

"Oh, don't pity me." She snapped.

"What put you in such a bad mood-"

"'Sup losers, we're back!" A voice shouts from the deck. Oh joy. I jump out of my seat along with everyone in the Mess Hall. Well, except Nico. We flood the deck which holds a painfully happy couple. We all shout at them. They roll their eyes like we're the weird ones. The couple walk past us with a newfound confidence that just fuels our shouts.

"Leo Valdez, you go missing and just come back calling us losers?"

"Not cool guys."

"Leo, you could've told us! We were worried sick!"

"You went missing on an island that has who knows what on it! Dude, literally! I could've helped look!"

They just strut with a smile to a pair of seats in the Mess Hall. We sit as close to them as possible, some of us leaning against the table across them to give them the stare.

"Sorry we went missing." Calypso started. Some of our group just reassured her that we were just worried and that it was okay.

"So you see-" Leo got cut of from us scolding him like boiling water. Nico walked over to our party and smiled, amused. After a frankly frustrating conversation we got settled down.

"Hey! Where's Jason and Annabeth?"  Leo pipes up after a while.

"They're in their room." Piper and I say at the same time with matching sour looks, surprising the couple.

"Jeez, guys, this vacation is doing the opposite of its purpose." Leo jokes. I roll my eyes and Piper's look gets worse.

"Jason just isn't talking to me, okay?" Piper says quietly. Our looks soften and she leaves, wiping her eyes.

"That's one way to make a room quiet" I joke silently. This is a mess.
