I know what your thinking. The hilarious and good looking repair boy has a gruesome past? Ya, right. But, then how come I have these scars? Mental and physical. My mother died in a fire I caused. My own Aunt Rosa wouldn't let me live with her. I was running away from foster homes around the state. Few were kind to me but to protect them and myself, I ran. Bullies always found a way to find me. Like monsters, and I can't tell which is harder to make go away. Running Is what I did and what I do. Some people who somehow pass the test to have an adopted child hurt me and locked me in my room and such. Finally I caught some luck and got placed with Piper and Jason. But no, I can't tell them.

'Put on a mask, kid,' I have to myself countless times,'Tell a joke and they will forget about it.' One of my fears, is that they will see through my mask one day and will be afraid to joke around me, feel sorry for me, never act the same because of my past. I don't want their pity. I don't need their pity. I want my friends, nothing should change.

Just because of some stupid scars...
