Hi. My name is Aubrey. But for some reason, I go by the name Aub. I am 16 years old and currently and orphan. I don't like living in an orphanage, but I won't get too deep into that stuff. Lemme just cut to the chase here.

***five minutes earlier***

"Aubrey, someone is here to adopt you," Mrs. Brineswick said through the loud speaker.

I walked out of my room and went downstairs. There, standing in front of me, was Pentatonix's Avi Kaplan.

I tried to keep calm, but I ended up pasting a big, idiotic smile on my face. I looked like an idiot.

Avi signed a paper and gestured for me to follow him to his car.

I was finally going to have new home. A new life. A better tomorrow.
